My First Grow With Bubbles!

Nice Cadillac!! Very nice progress. You will learn about more than just growing if ya' approach it right! ;) Patience being one of the biggest things. lol

btw, my mac power cord died, so no pics for a few days on my grow or the WWs... using wifes netbook!

:goodjob:

:thumb:Thanks Vaped and Jay. I am pretty proud of that dang Jack plant. Who woulda thought? LoL.

So I came home this morning after being gone all day and night yesterday.(Went to a casino resort with the old lady, she wanted to get out, and all i could do is think about my plants, lol). To my suprise this is what i saw:

I noticed this on some older leaves from all 3 buckets of plants:

Here are the WW babie! One on the far right is having issues, but im sure she'll come out of it.

Does anyone know what the deal is with those older leaves on the big plants? Ive been through Roseman's Tips thread and it kinda falls under 2 totally different categories so im not sure what the deal is. Everything seems to be in check now. Thats about all i can pick apart at the moment, lol. Any ideas welcome!!:grinjoint::grinjoint::grinjoint:

Well on a good number of my plants when started had some weird leaves and didnt look too great but now are looking amazing however some of those weird leaves have since been clipped or died off on the bottom, but as you saw in the pics everything is great so I dont know if it is normal but either way they look great now so I cant complain!

:grinjoint:Thanks Mike, they are 1 month old today exactly. Half of them are showing the staggard leaves, a sign of maturity, so i read. 1 or two may just be runts. I topped them about 4 days ago. Actually, toped 7, fimed 3, bent 1 over. I plan on going the full 5 weeks veg so my topped branches get a chance to develop more. They should be A ok by then.

:grinjoint:They are getting a little big though. I only have about 15 more inches to move up my light. Also, the light is a good 18 inches above them. Ill have some room to work with. Unless they blast off like my soil pplant did. Geez. Its still growing. That things gonna be 6 feet tall, lol.

Gotta figure something out on how to break up the 3 WW babies, Jack, and bent over Purps that are all in a 8 gL Bubbletub. Others are all in buckets. I want to put my WW in a bucket like the others. That leaves the damn jack plant. Im at my limit of plants 15 for my state, didnt think it would take all this coordination to keep them going at all these differeent stages. Then again, i only planned on starting with 10, lol.

I upped the dose of my nutes tonight by about 200 ppm. Hopefully they take to it ok. Thay are rather nute sensitive compared to my Jack that cant seem to get enough. Things are well. I hope the same for everyone else!:grinjoint::grinjoint::grinjoint:

:grinjoint:Thanks for the tip Roseman, and im honored to have you in my thread. Like your tutorial specifies, to just cut them apart, the sparatic plants in my tub arent really fused at all. I really just need to figure out how to arrange them as flower is coming up ina few days. Gonna have to separate the baby WW That are with the Monster Jack and LSTed Purps.

Gonna go to bloom on thursday, looked at calendar germ date and im actually at 33 days ,lol. I think i will have no choice but to put my soil plant in the tent with the bubble set ups. As much as this is a no no, i really have no other choices as i have to put my babies and jack in the closet where my soil moster is now.

Thats another dilema im facing. Gonna have to bend the shizzy out of that thing to get to be under the light.

Cant seem to get the bubble grow much over 500 ppm without tip burn, kinda is irritating me. Got some tip burn on the topping growth . Maybe because its so new, im not sure. Have to wait it out.

Hope to post some pics soon.:grinjoint::grinjoint:

I'm no expert but if you just let your plants tell you what they need you'll be fine. They look great, so why worry about being at 1200ppm? It's just a number. The only number that you will really care about in the end is measured in OZs, and you are on your way Bro!
:cheer:

Looking VERY healthy i have to say but i saw a leaf wanting to "CUP DOWN" thats an indicator of Ph being too low...U doin a great job man keep an eye on that ph keep it between 5.5-6.4

Thankfor droppin by PurpDaddy. Thanks for the knowledgable tip. The plants have grown so much in this last week that its not even visible anymore. Maybe they werent happy when i changed thier res at that point.

You are very right about that OZ comment. lol. Just would like know if i am not giving them enough of what they like. Who knows. Like the soil plant, as sson as it went into flower, all the new growth became lime green and very distinct from the older growth. It might be a genetic thing, but i think its normal.

:grinjoint:

When i do get around to posting pics i think your all in for a suprise. They are doing pretty well, they are just getting big for the space. Will probably get better when i chopp any males, which i believe i have spotted the first 1 or 2. Still only end of third full day of flower, but i think i can see small nut shaped deally on one or two. On others i can see green banana shaped deals with no pistols yet. This happened to my soil plant when it was showing herself. I thought they were bananas, but they were not, turned out to be female after all. All the others are still deciding when to show.:grinjoint:

The soil plant that is almost 4 weeks into flower is coming along nicely. I supercropped all her main stems in ordr to keep her illuminated. She was a good 6 foot tall including the 5 gal bucket.lol. Shes got some nice buds forming on her. :grinjoint:

I noticed on a few lower buds that the white hairs are now turning red, crinkly and a little dry looking. Not sure if i have been blasting them with too much koolbloom with ff big bloom. Can an over nute effect the hairs on the buds? If so , please let me know before i fry these little buds lol.:grinjoint:

Try to get some pics up soon.:grinjoint:

:grinjoint:Ok Fellas, I know i have been slacking lately due to some sketchyness, and most of all, my schoolwork is getting rediculous. Chemistry is rough!!!!

So here we go, Day 5 Flower for Bubble Tubs/ Day 28 for the soil plant...

Group shot! 11plants total in the tent currently and its getting crowded!

Still waiting for some sex indicators besides height. Strictly because of the fact that my soil plant girl was a 6 footer before i Supercropped it. Got a few inclines about some of them, but ill ask your guys opinions.

Male Flower?

DSC005083.JPG

Never seen this on my soil female plant and they are the same strain. But this is what i seen on the soil plant during its presexing...

DSC005372.JPG

They are kinda like geen skinny bananas. My soil female had these during presex, and i now have them on about 3 plants in bubbles for sure. Initially it looks like a green hermie banana but it must not be since my soil girl is doing well and has shown no sign of hermie, enen though she was supercropped the F out of 3 weeks into flower.

Either way let me know if you guys have had any similar situations like this. Or tell me what your thinkin.

Here is the supercropped soil Girl!!!

DSC005512.JPG

Snapped a shot of her arm as i was changing into my HPS bulb. Which might i add is very Orangy!

DSC005541.JPG

Been giving her a butload of FF big bloom and Liguid Koolbloom. They have put on some weight in the last week since doing so. Havny really been to picky about her, just juice her up real good when i notice she is relatively dry, and let her bang. I cant really say much as she was supose to be an experiment that turned out to be a girl that i couldnt turn down. You guys probably know what i meean.

Roots shot on the biggest 3 in bubbles!

Jack and WW in thier own buckets...

DSC005181.JPG

I am still running into a few issues here and there but ive been trying to just let em grow. I adjust thier Ph 1 time every night, and add around a gallon to each bucket every 2 days. Havnt changed the resivoirs in a little over a week. That hygrozyme is doing serious work. Ive been slowly inteegrating some bloom nutes along with koolbloom into thier buckets with the replenishes. I plan on doing a full bucket clean out in about 4-5 days and then let them bang out like i have been doing.

I must say, its been a real pain in the A$$ to mess with them everyday. MOnitoring the temps and shyt. Everything is on a system, the variable i have to adjust for everyday is the temp outside, which has been fluctuating quite a bit. The resevoirs have been staying quite cool, 64-66 during sleepy time and 68-70 during the light, despite the 80 degree canopy temp.

Feel free to give me your input on my presexing, especially that possible nutsack, havnt seen one before on this strain. The sooner i can clear room the better. Im hoping to get at least 4-5 females and possibly get clones going, nice mother clones, and then see what i can get from the 5 plants. I can already tell, like there soil sister that they are gonna be tall. Dont get it, Premierseeds specs on them say short-medium,lol. Maybe a typo.

There, pics are up, hope you guys are all doing well!:grinjoint::grinjoint::grinjoint:

they look nice big and beautiful but id say yes she is a he/she , i just went threw that with two out of four plants and they two that did hermie didnt show ANY hairs and those little nuts kept getting bigger , they say you can pull them and save them for pollenating . i cut mine out as advice was givin i also would wait for a couple days to make sure . good luck they look really good , and have nice root systems

Still hesitant about yanking on any of them yet since they are officially going on day 8 flower. Havnt had a male yet so kinda unsure on when i really should make the decision to pull them. Hopefully in the next week it will be more definative.

Wooooo! look at those roots, I would say those are still to young to tell if theyre male or not, give em a few more days and it'll be clear. Lookin great man, really glad you decided to stay with the bubbles

Yea brother, i probably owe those roots to you as you kept me at ease about the zyme. God does that shizzy pay off. I am too also glad i stayed with the bubbles for this grow. Unfortunately, i will have to switch to soil for the summer because of heat issues. Soil can handle the extra heat alot better than the bubbles can. I base my cool air intake from my window port i created from a framed plywood cover. So i am at the hands of the weather around me. It sucks.

I plan on taking a few clones from the WW and Monster Jack plant as soon as i chop some males from the room. Clones gonna have to go into soil though. I need a couple good moms. I f%^ked up and didnt take any clones from the purps before flower because of my states limitations, so im just gonna have to flower what i got. Hopefully if i take 2 or 3 of each, 1 of each hopefully makes it. Dont know thier sex but by the time they root the parent plants will be into flower and showing sex. :grinjoint:

Thanks Buddy!!!:grinjoint:
