OldMedMan's First Grow Couchlock 2009

It's just water, nutes, roots, and air... you're the one getting all fancy with the dirt...

I'd love to man, I really would.

There's only one thing I need to tell you about Hawaii: Bring Money!

Better than Michigan bro, my advice to anyone coming here is to bring a job....lol. I had thought about sending ya a six pack of snowballs. Figured you could use it to fend off thieves. At the very least they would be traumatized by getting hit with one in Hawaii...lol

sisco You did the right thing, sometimes if you act like you're doing your regular stuff, nobody even notices.:grinjoint:
Although I would have loved being there to see your eyes when you saw it on the table.

See you tomorrow. :peace:
LOL, my wifes eyes told me I was Funking lucky, but there was no beef with her and I over the mishap...

I also hit the breaker box after that and shut the girls down for about half an hour cause they were sitting right next to the door. They took off this morning back to Maine so all is back to normal....

Looking forward to the next execution:popcorn:hope it's quick and painless for both you and the plant.:peace:
This is what the male plant looks like

There's only one thing I need to tell you about Hawaii: Bring Money!

No doubt you can spend a lot of money there - once my backpack was getting searched in the airport on Kauai, and the guy pulls out a dime that was in one of the pockets, holds it up, and says: At least we didn't get all your money!

I'm pretty good though at cheaping out though - one of the best times I ever had on the islands was on Maui - camped up on Haleakala my first night, met a bartender from Detriot who was bumming around the island, and he showed me how to get showers at the rec center, illegal camping spots, but the best was the three days I spend in Oheo Gulch near Hana, camping out on the bluffs overlooking the ocean, reading Kurt Vonnegut, eating Chunky soup, and smoking the maui wowie. Hiked up towards the waterfalls and found the fruit trees, ate a bunch of those, and even managed to find one ancient coconut that still was good.

That's one reason I like the east side of the big island - so much less commercialized. Pahoa was such a funky, cool town, and the place we rented for our honeymoon was on those hot pools near champagne pond; it had it's own hot pool with pipes though the seawall to the ocean - like being in a hot tub with fish!

Now the weed friendly aspects are making me really want to move there. If I had been just a tiny bit smarter with business before the real estate crash, I'd be there now!

Hey GMT Actually I was hoping OBX had some money to bring:grinjoint:
It's no different here. They have even cut the schools down to 4 days a week, most people are hurting here too. :smokin:
Snow balls would scare hell of the thieves.:grinjoint: Good idea!:peace:

Hey sisco The eyes say allot don't they? Glad your wife's understanding.
That male is cute! that's all I could think of to describe it.:grinjoint:
Looks like it's ready to pop.......
Back to normal:popcorn:

In about half and hour Tad will met her maker. Ready to chop her. Pictures at 8.:smokin:
Take care my friend. :peace:

To me Hana and that area is one beautiful place, every one should see it once in their lives. Just getting there is an adventure. The seven pools and black sand...Why am I telling you? You really saw it up close and personal.;)

I know the Big Island is still really old Hawaii. Pohoa is so cool. Thats were all the hippies ended up in the 70s. That whole area is cool. Not far from there some locals actually shot down a Narc chopper when I first got here. The feds two years ago offered a million bucks to Hilo to help with getting rid of the growers. Hilo turned them down.

Hot tub with fish. Gotta love it.:surf:

Know what you mean about the crash, friend of mine in Washington lost a bundle. Didn't feel too bad about him tho, he had a bunch of payday loan places around all the military bases and charged them incredible interest rates.:smokin:

Didn't realize you had been here and know the place. You should be right at hone.:cheer:

Just poking in to say hi. Keep up the good work, and don't rush that dry and cure. Some would say this is the most important part.

Hi WP Thanks for popping in.

I'm not going to hurry the process. I want it to be well cured.:grinjoint:
Not after it took so long to grow.

Grats OMM :cheer: So how long did it take ya to trim ? :nicethread:

Hey BuddyThanks. Not as long as I expected to trim, Maybe an hour and a half. She wasn't too big of a plant. I think I like doing them one a day.
Hopefully I will do a larger grow and will have to work by butt off.:grinjoint:

Day 90 of Bloom

Here she is getting ready to dry. Sure looks small, got most of them to hang this time.:ganjamon:

Dry_Box2.JPG

OK, That's Tad. All together the total was 257g wet.

Now she' on her diet. No more water and she will dry up the from the inside out....

Excuse me Folks, but YAAAAAHOOOOO! Now I feel better.:partyboy::partyboy:

Awesome Job!!! I can't give you reps because I've already gave you some.

I can't wait to see what the dry total was, and a smoke report. A real smoke report, after a real cure.

Again Bravo!!!
:nicethread: :bong:
:peace:

You've got it, a real smoke report after a long cure. Probably will give interim smoke report when I move them from box to jars for long term curing. I think the dry weight will be a little less than oz and that's pessimistic.

I'll gladly take the imaginary +reps. :grinjoint:
Thank You :surf::surf:

Nice harvest off that plant!

That main cola is beautiful. Nice job on the trim.

I bet Tad's gonna taste great after a nice cure!

+rep

I think the dry weight is gonna be closer to 2.5oz.

Thanks sun I know I just had to take 2 pictures of it.:grinjoint:

I think she will too. I just smoked her scissors hash. That's when I started to try to estimate her dry weight. After two pages of incoherent stuff, I just went worse case.:peace:

Thanks for +rep

I hope your estimate is the right one.:clap:
