Organic Biscotti 2.0, The Plug By Fudo

Happy Sunday! I trimmed up one of the plants into a bag to see where we’re at with the humidity. Sitting upright in the bags, the humidity shoots up to 80%. So I tip the bags over and spread them out and it stays at 69%.
They’ve shrunk up quite a bit since yesterday so maybe by tomorrow I can get them all upright in bags.
The total weight is 15.2 oz. That’s 3.66 oz of tops and 11.54 for the rest. It’s not dry yet but I’m still quite pleased. Should be a pretty good haul.

And here’s my test piles. Pretty big color difference. I think the lighter color one is stronger, It’s definitely stickier. The lighter shaded pheno is also the one described by the seed bank…

Vacations over and it’s back to reality. I woke up early and got all but one finished. I need more paper bags, the plastic holds way too much moisture.
All that’s left now is clean up and getting the weed into jars.

And back to upright. The humidity swings 10% between lying down and upright. Pretty simple and effective method for controlling humidity. They should make it to the jars in a day or so.

Good afternoon. Two of the plants are jarred up. The humidity holds at 68% with the lid upside down and slid open a bit. For one plant I picked one of the fuller bags to see where I’m at on weight. Not bad at 7.81 oz. The other bag was the lightest at 4.70 oz. Everything else should be somewhere in between. I closed up the bags for the rest of the day Tomorrow I’ll finish the rest.

Beautiful end to a colorful grow Fudo! Congratulations on a great haul and the perfect example of phenotypes in action. :)
Thanks Shed! Yeah the phenos are interesting. I’d like to do some research on flavonoids. The 3 dark colored plants have a distinct floral taste that is familiar in every dark purple plant I’ve grown regardless of breed. Can’t be coincidence. I haven’t been through all of them yet, but the light colored girls seem a little more potent, a touch heavier.

Absolutely beautiful buds from that beautiful grow! Amazing harvest! When did you say the supplies were arriving lol

Thanks Krissi! Actually I just re-read that and it appears we’re all having separate conversations lol. I used the word “come” to denote next in line of process. I thought Otter meant my timing was spot on in the drying. So yeah, nothing coming from the zon, which makes my wife happy. :laugh:I’ve got some left over packs from last time. As long as they’re in a sealed jar they last a long time. Need more hygrometers though. I keep breaking them.
