Day 55 of flower

I think I probably started the flower count down a day or so late. All the girls are showing a good amount of amber but especially the darker ones. Pistils aren’t really receding on the lime colored girls though…
I took the cob fixture down closest to the door. Today might be their last day of light.

Day 56 of flower

Timber! Harvest day. I’m thinking it’s probably day 58 but that’s ok. Here they’ll stay in the dark for another 12hrs or so then I’ll finish trimming them and adjust the humidity the best I can. I need to go get another weather station, mine broke a long time ago.

It getting a little better. I took the fans down of course and turned the exhaust down to low. Probably be adding a humidifier. I’ve had this room at 62% before. It’s nice when that happens but depends on the weather.

A buddy came over for 3.5 hrs this morning and helped me trim them. More like plucked them. I don’t think either of us touched a pair of scissors. The water content was perfect for plucking. The leaves popped right off and those we missed I’ll get when I trim the buds off the branches into bags. All the collateral damage got thrown into the “to be smoked 1st box.”
I got the humidity at about 50%. A little low but that’s the reason I leave them intact, so they’ll dry a little slower.
I love the color contrast between the different plants, very cool.

Oh f yeah Otter lol. Just did a smoke test of both the dark and light against some 26% kush I got from the dispensary. Gotta say it added to it, I’m baked. It tasted green of course but had some floral and bakery notes as advertised. It’s good stuff.
