Ripe1 Grow2 Lunar Planting NYC Turbo Diesel & Cheese CFL & LED In Soil

And I meant it is a nice healthy top to clone, with the clonex and all. Just sayin'.

Day 40

I've been through the desert on a horse with no name, the smoke felt so good on my brain. Yep and I can't remember anything anyways so what??? I am going to top NYCTD4 again tonight. I've been bending the plant over the last couple days and I will also start tying them down tonight. Balls! I think NYCTD3 has some balls. I am going to toss him soon unless somebody else is as sure as I am that those are balls! I've never been so excited to see a male plant. More room in there! Yay!!! Screen and a new loupe was what you told me Sheddy boy! They are going to hop in the cart.

No Pt, not this go around. While I am really kicking the idea of cloning NY4, managing a seed grow is outside what I am willing to take on right now. The clone is tempting but seeds are not. Not now. I do want to learn, but even the clone may be too tough to chew. I have a few hours to decide. Opinions on the matter?

My opinion is go with what you want to do. Clones first, then breeding!

[edit: clones first when you're ready, like of the females later in this grow]

Looks male to me, no single pistil coming out of the end. Keep it only if you want seeds, but if you do, it's gotta be far away from the tent. Pollen floats away on the slightest of breezes!

POOf! GONE!

Good call on the edit. No need to be in a hurry.

Day 42

DE, BT, ScrOG, sticky traps and other fun tent toys are here. I broke out the sticky traps and caught a gnat and a bug that looked like a leaf eater. I went to take a pic of them today and the suspected leaf hopper was gone!!! He looked a lot like this though.
Or this....

Here is the little gnat, he's not going anywhere!

With the plants showing sex, I am pretty sure that NY3 was the only male. The rest are now being scrutinized for health, size and vigor. NY1&4, as well as Cheese1&5 seem to be the least bothered by tent events and matters. I'll be watching the yellowing on the leaves.

NYCTD4 was topped last night. I am still waiting on my binder clips but the plant tie roll showed up too. I'll tie them down then. Bending continues and the lower branches are starting to catch up. I think that is all for now. Have a good day guys. Everyday is one closer to harvest!

Only disease will stop this one from being chosen.

Here are some shots from NYCTurboDiesel3. He was getting after it. He was transplanted 1/27/18. 8 days before these pics were taken which was Sunday 2/4/17. There are already a couple roots down at the bottom. The ones that didn't split when the bottom of the soil came off were still close to 6 1/2" - 7" long. So they were probably the full 9 inches of the 1 gallon pot. I can tell you now that I am glad I got the practice with that one before I have to transplant the final 4. His roots took a beating coming out of that pot. I just might take some scissors to the pots since they are only like $7 for a 5 pack. I can eat $7. I can't eat 2 months of time anymore. Overall, I am happy with what is happening with roots right now. If I can keep them strong then most of this other shit should stay behind the growth and I can still win.

Happy Root Growing!

Rooster's cautionary tale on the perils of too much spraying.

I saw that same thing when I first started surfing this site. That is one reason I've spaced spraying out. They got DE Tuesday night, other than that, I have not sprayed them this month. I am going to spray them with SNS244, they said it would immediately stop the spread but as we all know, the infected leaves can't be helped.
they all look a lot better then before ... good job :thumb:
Thanks Pt!

Day 45

De went on Tuesday. Cheese 2 and 5 are showing signs of Septoria or burn on the new growth, but only a little bit. It seems to have been mostly contained with them Neem and Clean™. As stated before SNS244 is going on tonight if SNS gets back to me about 244's effect on the Lady Bugs I just released yesterday. They got straight to work eating and reproducing. It's like a black spotted porno in there now. I hope they have success. I broke another top while bending the other day. Oh well. We'll see if this one heals better than the last. No signs of more males. I have seen a few fungus gnats here and there, but at this point I am not too worried. Growth still seems to be staying ahead of all the bugs and Septoria. Aches and pains have prevented tying the branches. I am hoping tonight I won't be too sore to bend those girls down and tie them up! They got water on 2/7/18. 1.5 gallons containing:
Cal Mag 6ml
Grow 10ml
Roots 10ml
Weed 5ml
Marine 5ml
Ph 6.8 PPM 525
Runoff was in the 800's on average. One of the Cheeses was 1200.

Sometimes my meter will drop down to the 400s, then I irritate the water and it goes up 800s again. I'll flush them next time. The top of the soil is already pretty dry so I'll be watching the leaves, when they ask I'll oblige. Also, I didn't get my normal runoff this time. It was about half (even less on a couple of them) the normal output. I think that is all I have for today until I tie. Here they are.

Yet another Friday is here. I am going to go try a new old Bamboo Rod I got early for Valentines Day! I hope you get to do something as enjoyable as that.

Not going near that one. This is a family site!

Are you wrapping tape on the bends that break? Plants look good and the ladybugs look happy :)

It gets kinky here by the water! Tape and toothpick splint. Thanks Shed!

Day 45

I was able to get some LST and tying done tonight. Here's a quick shot of that.

Day_45_LST.JPG

Why are there only 6 photo-plants in there???

Well, while I was doing that, I found this.
