Mazatlan is beautiful. Costa Rica is great too. Man I need to go on a surf trip now.

Yeah man Costa Rica is a blast always so much to see and do and fairly affordable. Outdoor person dreamland. The waves are insane there as well. I rented a little Suzuki samurai 4x4 and travelled all over for two weeks just getting completely lost and feeling so content

Couldn’t be happier with how the plants are coming along. Just flipped to 12/12. Love this part.

So I think I ended up with 5 maybe 6 females and I’m going to keep one or possibly two of the males to try and get some pollen and selectively pollinate a branch from each of the standout females.

The one male I know I will keep is a gg#4 x zkittles and it has a strong gassy nose on it already on the stem rub. I like them to wreak.

We will see if I find one more. This is just for me to learn not sure what to expect yet. Learning as I go. So I will just be a pollen chucker for a bit and see what comes of it. Lol

Going to do a little experiment with the males I have identified. Since I’m short on room and I have clones of all the males I have found. I am just gonna throw them outside and hope they give me pollen. If they don’t I will just wait and throw the clones out in a month those don’t work I will throw the next round of cuts out until I can get pollen. I have my eyes on one maybe two. But I will throw them all out. I need to get the girls space to spread out and get my trellis netting in. Will take some pictures later

I know but it’s only males and I have the backups in clone form to try again if it doesn’t work. Not too worried about it. But funny thing is I think a male might actually throw pollen when it’s cold like this. We will see.

Quick photo of the hopefully 6 females in here kind of weird with the smaller plants. And one of the small ones might be male still just waiting to see. Once I know I will put those up on a little stand of some sort to bring em up to the trellis.

Nope, sorry. I lied. It was -26 when I got up, and it’s -24 right now. Over the weekend, and Monday it’s supposed to be -30 and up (or down)

Yeah the only reason it’s cool to live in the butthole of the world. The climate is very mild and if you time things out right you could have three outdoor crops per year. Gonna build a little pvc cold frame for the males I think. Need to roll one and make coffee and go look at the boys.
