Great piece on CBG! Thanks for the link! :)

Beauty plants as always and thanks for the great vid +reps :peace:

Nice, thanks for the info!

I can't help but rename it: Cannabigeritol

Glad you guys liked the vid! Most of us are probably much more familliar with CBD than CBG, which is why I posted it, but here's the video on CBD for all of us that enjoy the refresher course! :):

QUICK POWER SKUNK UPDATE

Well, I pulled the trigger earlier today and transplanted the Power Skunk mom to a 1 gallon pot and put her in the flower tent. To be honest, I'm starting to second-guess that decision already! :dreamy:

I'm really enjoying the PS buds!

If I change my mind, I guess I can always keep one of her clones before I put it into flower, but I'm pretty sure it was the right decision. I just think I should have put one of the two Lucy mom's in flower before I put the ONLY Power Skunk mom in.

The last Power Skunk harvested was 16" tall and yielded a total of 11.7g dried. If I grew that plant to 24", I'm sure I could get a 1/2 oz. off of her, but compared to the Lucy and Pinapple Express plants of the same size, the yield is still relatively small.

But, the quality (and me!) is definately HIGH!!!! :grinjoint:

Here are those 11.7g that got jarred today:

On a separate but related note, even the plants I've been putting into flower at 10" tall are finishing between 16"-18", so, tomorrow I'm putting three more plants in flower that will all be starting right around 12" tall and hoping they finish closer to 22" or so.

Happy Harvests!

Awesome pics of that skunk!!

Really enjoy licking my screen! :yummy:

Hey Mr. Krip
why don't you tag along in my journal!
Would love your inputs along the way as I am just starting my first flowering journey..

Keep on Greenin'
:nicethread:

p.s thanks for the video info on CBD and CBG's!

Hey, Spirit! Sorry I was a little late, but checked out your jourrnal and all caught up, now. Very nice job! :welldone:

For anyone that hasn't seen it, I definately recommend checking it out here:

SpiriTHC's 2L Hempy vs DWC-H Tsunami of Green - CycoPlatinum

It's definately a "serious" setup and you should be able to produce LOTS of high quality meds once you get dialed in on the grow. :thumb:

Hey Krip sweet Ps I know you can get a lil more outta her but the others do better size and just as good on quality I say hard choice, I know having same thing with my White Widow, but I was wondering whats forum runner, and would I need that to upload from my droid now? I never needed it before the change over and if so are there any free apps to acheive the same thing? I just thought id ask you thanks for all your help :peace:

TWO MORE POWER SKUNKS HARVESTED

I harvested two more Power Skunks today, so thought I'd share the pics.

I do need to mention that I've never seen bottom buds as big as they get with these Power Skunks! In just about all cases, a thick band of buds is wrapped completely around the base of the plant all the way down to the medium. Combined with the defoliation, these buds get huge and in some cases, I'm seeing more buds at the base of the plant than the top!

Here's the first Power Skunk harvested today with the top of the plant on the right side and the base on the left:

+_reps to you dfor some damn nice bud porn Mr. Krip !!! :welldone:

Hi Mr.K,

Very nice buds, as usual...I just love your journal, I always learn something new...the vids are very informative, Thanks for posting.

You said you were going to veg some to 12" tall, how do you get them that tall with no side branches? If I let mine veg too long they always end up with branches, that's not suppose to happen in sog, right? All of 420fied's plants are just one main stalk covered with buds from bottom to top, no branches. Yours are like that too, I must be doing something wrong.

"how do you get them that tall with no side branches?"
It's about the neighborhood, sqwheels. If a lot of plants crowd up, each tries to find light straight up.
Or you could prune them ;)

Propa is correct. In addition, by taking taller clones now, I'm able to reduce veg time, so hopefully there will still be minimal branching.

QUICK UPDATE - FINALLY ANOTHER PINAPPLE EXPRESS! :yahoo:

Once again, I apologize for lack of updates and know I'm WAY overdue on a full update, but I've been buried in projects and having a tough time keeping up!

I harvested another two plants this morning including another Power Skunk and, finally, another Pineapple Express. And, since the last seven plants harvested were all Power Skunks, I thought I'd get a quick update in with a few shots of the Pinapple Express.

She's still the fattest and best looking & smelling strain to have graced the growroom :

Unfortunately, I'm gonna be stuck with LOTS of work, again, this weekend, but will do my best to get a full update in ASAP.

Happy Harvests!

Yeah, brotha! Nice looking PE. :yummy:

She's really chunky and sounds like she'll be delicious. We all get busy, busy is good - congrats on having the work to do - though I'm sure you'd rather be taking monster bong rips with all of us, haha. I wish I could be busy right now, lol. You've satisfied our primal urge to see great looking nuggage, so we'll all be satiated for a bit.

See you again when you get caught up my friend! :high-five:

PIC UPDATE!!!

OK...I'm finally gonna get that long-promised and way overdue pic update in! :yahoo:

First, I did toss the Power Skunk mom from the flower tent since she wasn't justifying taking up four SOG positions, but I did replace her with the Lucy mom, which frees up some room on the veg side.

Here's the flower tent right now, with the Lucy mom in the 1 gallon hempy on the left:

Clos-up of the Lucy mom just put into 12/12 today - she's a real bush!

Here are some of the more developed colas:

Here are the two plants due to be harvested this week:

DSCN21631.JPG

DSCN21621.JPG

One of the girls in her 2nd week:

DSCN21651.JPG

I've got room in flower to add four more plants, but I think only two will be added this week. Here's the collection of clones waiting for their turn in the flower tent, although, the 2nd plant from the front in the left column (black hempy) is the Big Band seedling that's gonna become another bonsai mom:

DSCN21691.JPG

Here is Baby Bertha, the Big Band. She looks like she stretched a lot more than she did because she's shed her two bottom leaf nodes. I'll plant her a little deeper when she gets transplanted to her 2 L hempy, but she's definately healthy & looking good:

DSCN21711.JPG

Top view of Bertha:

DSCN21722.JPG

Finally, you know I wouldn't have put the Lucy mom in flower if I didn't have another Lucy mom to replace her, and most of you probably remember I had made a second Lucy Bonsai mom. Well, here's the 2nd Bonsai mom which is definately due for a trim, so I'll be taking some clones from her this week:

DSCN2174.JPG

That's about all for now, but hope everyone is doing well and having a great weekend!

Happy Harvests!

Hi Mr.K,
I caught up just in time for the pic/update. Things look wonderful in your garden. That harvested PE sure is pretty :yummy:

How tall is Lucy II, the one in veg?
:Namaste:
