SOGgy Daze Ahead For Mr. Krip!

TOP TEN SIGNS YOU MIGHT BE A GROWER!

Thanks to Jeff Foxworthy, we all know how to tell if you might be a redneck, so I thought I'd put together a list of the top ten signs that will tell if you might be a grower. Feel free to add to the list! :)

==============================

You might be a grower IF....

1) You stress about the quality of nutrients you give your plants but live on a diet of fast food, potato chips, coffee & soda

2) Every plastic container looks like a potential hydro system

3) Your electric bill is more than your mortgage payment

4) Your neighbors are always asking why you never let you pet skunk out of the house to play

5) When someone refers to a "hottie with 36-24-36 measurements" you think they're referring to the N-P-K ratio on some super brand of nutes

6) Someone asks you about your girls and you forget all about your daughters and tell them about your plants.

7) You're in the process of curing, but you're not a doctor and nobody is sick

8) A "light leak" has nothing to do with slowly dripping water

9) A fully packed tent makes you feel better than a fully packed bowl

10) You include :420: in your list of the top teachers of all time!

I got one!
Your driving down the road and you pass a dead skunk and your wife starts to gag and complain and you just smile and breath deeply
at the thoughts of breeding a strain so pungent.

you watch grow videos on you tube while surfing 420mag oh wait thats what Im doing now!

If you ever considered tasting your run off to check for too much acid because your ph meters broke.

Ok Im done we should start a new thread some where for this its great.
sorry for the hijack Mr krip but you started this!:rofl::rofl:

Great idea!

I started a thread here:

You Might Be A Grower If

If we get enough, we can publish a book!

You might be a grower when you feed your plants with cleaner utensils then you use for yourself.

You might be a grower if you ph your orange juice, and the runoff of your pancake syrup.

You might be a grower when you stop surfing porn because it limits time surfing bud porn.

You might be a grower when you have 30 working bulbs in your closet, and none in your actual bedroom.

You might be a grower when your cats name is Urkle, and the dog goes by Bud...

You might be a grower when you think CNN stands for Cannibis Needed Now.

OMG!! I am a grower!!

BIG BAND 1 WEEK BEFORE HARVEST

One more week before the first Big Band clone is due to be harvested and she looks and smells incredible! :yummy:

She smells very sweet, like bubblegum, has thick, dark red hairs, and is just covered in trichs:

very nice Mrkrip! What kind of nutes are you using?

very nice Mrkrip! What kind of nutes are you using?

Thanks, Bro! I had been using AN micro/grow/bloom but just made the switch last week to BPN 3-part plus the bloom booster. I also supplement with DM Zone, DM Silica, AN Bud Candy, AN Big Bud, and AN Overdrive, although I haven't been using the Overdrive much just because it's usually a very small number of plants that would be on it and I get too lazy to mix a separate batch of nutes! :)

I also tend to use Snow Storm Ultra, but haven't used that in a while because the spray bottle I use for it got clogged, but I just picked up a new one, so will start that again soon! :Namaste:

That Big Band is just incredible Mr. Krip! Nice art too.:thumb:

Thanks, Brother! :thanks:
I'm really liking the way the Big Band is looking, too. If there's any THC in those trichs, she'll definately be a keeper! The nugs seem nice and dense and, based on the smell, she should taste pretty damn good!

They look close my friend!!:thumb:

Thanks, AK1! Yeah, some are close and some are not so close with the way I've been staggering the SOG harvests. I'll harvest another Pineapple Express this weekend, then that first Big Band clone and another PE next weekend. October should be a good month with 14 plants due to be harvested, and so far, there's six already in flower due for harvest in November. We've definately gotten in the groove and picked up the pace! :yahoo:

Snow storm ultra huh. At what rate is that applied in a foliar spray and do you need to ph or can the plant convert this on its own?
As you may know I grow in soil, mostly organics with the exception of snowstorm ultra. That seems the most cost effective way to apply it.:thumb:

I use the SSU as a foliar only, which is very economical when applied that way. The recommended dose is 5 ml/gallon but I typically just put 1 ml in a quart spray bottle. So, I apply just under the recommended dose, but it's close enough and my 1 ml syringe makes it easy to measure out in one shot! :)

That one quart bottle tends to last me several weeks, even with 24 plants, since it's only applied weekly.

You can add SSU to the nutes but they recommend you lower PPM's and while it shouldn't be a problem in soil (just more costly than foliar application), it's recommended NOT to use SSU in a res with an airstone.

One final comment that, for some reason, I just feel compelled to make!

Many growers are hesitant, to the point where they refuse, to apply anything foliar in the later stages of flowering for fear of budrot. Other growers will never appy foliars since they feel that ALL nutes should be taken in through the root system and a foliar only inhibits root development.

My experience is, assuming you have good/clean conditions in your growroom and spray earlier in the day, there's no issues applying foliars all the way up to harvest (although, I usually cut out the SSU a couple of weeks before). If you spray earlier and don't totally drench the buds, the lights will typically dry them out and, if you think about it, in an outdoor situation they'd be getting rained on at all hours of the day in an environment you couldn't control nearly as well, so I really don't understand all the fuss about foliars! Just my 420 cents on the issue! :Namaste:

Your absolutly right as long as your environment is in check shouldnt be a problem with fungus. As a matter of fact most organic guru's
recommend foliar sprays to discourage harmful pathogens and pest. Thanks for your take on this brother!:thumb:
