Spart's Auto Test Run With 300W Mixed CFL

So I've decided to harvest the west coast og today. I got a bit of time today so I'll take a few good pictures of her this time. I started to trim the yellow leaves last night haven't checked on her but if there's no new hairs she'll be coming down today.

Just looked to the trichomes on the west coast I'd say 15% amber but she has a few white pistils still all and all I think she's good for a chopping.

So the total wet of of trimmed buds on the west coast is 67 grams. The buds are real sticky I ended up with about .25g of scissor hash which went straight into a big fat harvest joint of the skunk.
So pics
In no particular order but in a bit of an order

I'm rethinking the 4 x 3l air pots. I really don't know what I should do for the next run might just weight til all this family drama is over. To scrog or not to scrog that is the question.

Thanks man
sweet looking buds, way to go!!

Here is the last lady in the tent she might have another week and a half left. She's getting straight water now and has started to yellow up more. I think I might give her a defo in a few days and see if it speeds things along. She's becoming to be a big girl ^_^

Thanks guys I'm thinking I might get better yield with 4 x 6 liter frabric pots instead of air pots. Should end up being real nice yield. If I'm using 6 liter pots I'll end with plants with about 30 grams on them I might top and train them all to keep them shorter. My rh is real low in the tent now with only the one plant in there reallly really low..... low 20% but its in a room with the washing machine so I just did some clothes and the rh is right back up to 35% ;-) Hope everyone's weeks are off to a great and green start.

Today is day 60 of the life of the northern yoda and I must say I'm pretty impressed she looks to be a heavy girl. Her stock is bending a bit from the weight as are the satellite branches. I am going to flush with 15 liters of water today and wait til she dries out again, after all she's been on just water for about a week now. Her leaves are mostly yellow even some of the leaves that had a bit of sugar are now yellow. I'm going to harvest her in two go first the main cola that is getting most of the light and finishing first then the lower branches will be getting a light adjusting and the bulb moved closer for them to finish up I think this run was to pretty much just see what all would fit under the light and limits to the spread of light as well as size differences in pots/plant/end results. I still haven't decided on pot sizes which is a pain in the ass because I'm going this afternoon to get everything.:hmmmm::hmmmm::rolleyes3:

Personnally, I'll never grow anymore in smaller than 10/11 liters containers. Too much cost (work, electricity, etc) for too little output. 4 square 11 liters pots will be just fine in a 60*60 box. I would not go for less. They are sold @ 23*23 cm size, but they are 26 cm at the top. If you have your 60*60 box, don't shoot your yield before it is grown, take 11 L minimum and put 4 of them.

Beware
(play ghostly music here), the smart pots will take more room than what you count with their size. For example, the 15 Liters Square Smart Pots got from promshop (specs = 23*23 cm, 26 tall, 15Liters), they take 30 cm or more because the sides are soft and bend under the weight of soil. One side will go up to 35 cm, and that's more than 50% of your 60*60 box side size.

I can use 3 of them + 1*11L square pot in a 60*60 box. All the space is taken. I can't use a 4th textile pot. So I've seeded the tallest plant into that 11L pots, and the other ones which are said to be slightly lower size, in the bigger smart pots of 15L.

It will be the same with the smart pots, they might take more room than expected, so may be try to buy two or three, then you will see what you have left and what you can put in there.

Good luck

but you do have to compromise if you use CFL due to the lesser coverage.....in large pots, the seedling will be 5 / 10 cm farther to the light than with smaller pots. so you have to put the cfl tube higher if you use the large ones like you (and me...) . 250/300W CFL should be fine though. 200W might be too weak. (you can seed the seeds slightly off center, so they are all closer to the lamp at the begining, may be).

She got a flush last night so just took a few pictures of that. Gonna be really busy this week and probably next week so she might be coming down maybe Saturday night or Sunday. I measured her main cola and it's 20cm long.:passitleft: I've decided on not starting a new journal or anything maybe for the next grow as I got life happening or if this shit gets sorted sooner then later I might do a speed journal maybe skip or shorten the first few weeks. Anyways pics on the Northern Yoda her fall colors are really coming in and I'm pleased with her size she's really branched out since it''s been just her in the tent.

She's one of three that were under a 300w mixed spectrum cfl. Half the light is blue the other half red.I think I'm going to harvest today she's had straight water for a week and then I flushed her pot with 15liters of water 4 days ago. Next week should be crazy for me and I'm guessing she's ready. I'll try to take some harvest pics but my phone is going nuts again so i'll try. But if i get time later I'll do a smoke report on the west coast and maybe a little bud porn if i can get this camera shit to work.

:Namaste:&:high-five:
