TheBlaze: Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 1

YUP, I hadn't grown anything from DP in quite awhile and she was CALLING me the day I was choosing varieties. I LOVE blueberry, ONE of my all time Favorites(story behind it ALWAYS), so I'll get to her soon. I hear she's sensitive and I like to push my plants so a LITTLE reluctant, but SHE is SOOOO worth it and I could(I GUESS :scratchinghead:) start out slow and treat her as LESS IS more!! I'm also planning after this Indoor grow coming up, to do a 12 weeker round. I don't do 12 week strains usually, and wouldn't want to Outside, that would be LIKE November, I'll PASS!! SO I figured indoor I usually go 9-10, WHAT's a round of 11-12 to do some SICK ASS Sativa's. I already picked up the Kali Mist(U know it, STORY as usual), never had the NY Diesel( had plenty of varieties of diesel), and the Amnesia Haze(I have had the pleasure in LA from a friend when I was visiting, it was from the Club and DANK). The time frame would almost even out with the plants needing less Veg time more than likely since they should STRETCH like NO other. UP to the challenge of taming some WILD Sativa's.

You are on the mark friend, right around 3ft Cola's NO doubt(I'll have to break out the tape measure). This BD variety is DEF on the Sativa side since she took so FREAKIN' long to FLIP(Almost 3 weeks behind from the rest). I wouldn't be mad if she's on the HAZE side of the fence that's for sure. I just broke out the Nebula(I call her sweet HONEY PINE) from my last Indoor grow :volcano-smiley: :peace:

You should really give Strawberry Amnesia a try. I was impressed with it. Hella strong, and flowers in about 11 weeks.

UPDATE

Day 53 (PE) and 46 (SD) of 12/12

Took the 2 PE's out of the tent for a photoshoot although the photos don't really do them justice.

Looks like my PE is 16 days behind yours. That will be a good gauge for me. Thanks for the PE photo shoot! :circle-of-love:

I think more pics of your girl are in order again. :thumb:

Very nice looking flowers Blaze.

Cheers

Good to hear from you again Miller. You started up another journal yet?

Sold me on the PE, between you and Ase. Very nice pics Blaze .

You won't go wrong bud. I think this will be my first keeper strain.

Looks great mate.

Thanks BT!

Cheers

I think I live about 15 minutes from both you and Norcaliwood. Although I thought you were moving to Southern Oregon a while back so maybe not. Nice little outdoor setup Miller.

PE continues to impress, nice shots Blaze.

She must really be impressive if you're going to make her a keeper. Will you do anything special to keep PE going? Like drop seeds and hunt for an exceptional mother?

She is very impressive, and also very uniform. Almost zero difference between the 5 plants I've grown out so far. So I won't be doing any selection. I have a mother plant I gave away, coming back to me soon.

UPDATE

Week 8 (PE) and week 7 (SD) of 12/12

Strawberry Diesel is finally getting sticky and putting off a smell. Maybe, just maybe she will end strong. I noticed there are more branches falling over again. I will need to get some more plant yoyos and string her up.

The calyxes on Purple Envy are swelling. She is in the home stretch now. Trichs are about 60 - 70% cloudy. She will be ready for harvest in about 10 days, but I will let her go a week longer. I want 10% amber on her... at least. That will be a first for me. I normally harvest just as the plant starts to throw a few ambers. I think that will help tame her powerful, anxiety inducing, high.

Strawberry Diesel has at least 4 weeks to go. Probably closer to 5. That is good news for me. Gives her time to improve.
