Myself, wished I could use the hps for the whole 12 hours! The leds will have to do in this heat.
Got all 22 gallons on 6.8 ph ready to get her done in the morning .

Outside temp 82 humidity 76% SSW 4 mph
Building temp 75.6 humidity 53%
Tent temp 76.1 humidity 54% fans light and variable.
Water temp 67.2
TDS 1282 ppm high because of all the acid !
20 gallons of city water 335 ppm, ph 8.3 , added 20 mL acid to each 5 gallon bucket. Got 6.7-6.9 in ph and went with that !
Added 100 grams of Mega Crop 9-16-17 , mixed with the wave maker dissolved it in five minutes!
Ph only made it to 6.0
These girls hasn’t had a drink since 6 this morning .

As soon as it cools down at the end of October maybe November! I’m gonna finish this grow and head to the mountains for vacation! This grow should be over middle of September. More candy kush coming then !

I wonder how a 600w HPS in the center surrounded by 18 COBs would fare in a 9'x9' room? I was planning to start with only half the room till I can buy a big QB, but I already have 3 600w HIDs on the shelf collecting dust.

After running that 1000 watt hps I believe 600 was all I needed ! From what I see on your grow is those cobs does a hell of a job ! Three 600 hps for me I’d have to shoot for 5 to 6 pounds in that grow .

The COBs have a nice punch to them as well as much more preferable colors both seen and unseen, but the smarter money is in QBs generally. Still, no one can ever deny that HPS delivers something in the yield department that LEDs still seem to struggle with. All in all, I would just use the HID for a couple weeks, till I could get up enough to buy a nice QB or something like that. It's all about inching forward, right?

I like the idea about the cobs surround the hps, that’s six on each light . At my age inching forward is all I got !

Falling just like the last water and nutrients change 250 ppm used I can’t find it that high of an intake in one day in any of my journals! It’s like it just waits for fresh nutrients!

I can't say for sure, but I wonder how many people replace a 600w HPS with 600w LED at the wall.

I have a 1000 hps at the wall, each Viparspectra 600s 2 amps each then the Kind 750 is 4.68 . 8.68x120= 1040 watts

I went from 600 down to 480 and can only drive it a little harder than 50% due to lack of active cooling. Perhaps I would have better results if I used the full power from the driver? I'll be able to safely test that in a few months after I build a bigger room that will have it's own mini split.

Right! To get 600 wall watts on a QB or strip build you would need to have to build a system over 750 watts to run it at 80%. No one runs their drivers flat out.

That’s over a week and no deficiency with city water !
Next water and nutrients change will go to there full bloom 6 grams per gallon or should I add it now ?????????? Since it’s asking for the MC on our hydro chart . Pics

Most of us keep bumping our grams in flower until we see the tips complain and then back it off to the last happy place. My AK-47 is happy at 5.5g/gal but I'm at 6.5g on others.
