What is the best lighting?

What is the best lighting to use for my 5x5 grow tent, as well as advance nutrients should i check the ph level regularly or dont worry about it.

LED or HID can both be good. Check our sponsors to get a better idea. For LED you need at least 30W draw from the wall per sq ft of canopy.

Always check your ph, but more info on your plans for your medium would be helpful. PH is different, for different grow mediums.

I've only been using an led for about a month and a half so far,and I've got no complaints .
Having only used the sun in the past,I'm very impressed with the performance of the led.
(200w draw/4sq ft)

I use cmh they are 315 watt hid lights they are great low power consumption and heat for a hid light. the bulbs have a way longer life span then hps or mh of about 20000 hrs . The bulbs are also full spectrum so one bulb will take you from veg to flower. I would say 2 in your 5x5 would work great as a single one will cover a 3x3 area
