Engaging in our contests is fun and brings a lot of positive energy to our community. It's not always about winning, sometimes it's just about having a blast and participating in the event to evolve the community spirit. Any member with a minimum of 50 posts can enter, participate and vote in the polls. There are some great prizes and sponsorships to win, including exclusive 420 Magazine merchandise and some high value products from our generous sponsors.
Contest Voting Revision
Some of our members were having difficulty voting when they knew their friends could see who was voting for who. It was causing some division in the community and resulting in poor voter turnouts. We took a poll on Transparency vs Anonymous Voting and anonymous won with 60% of the majority vote. So we're reverting the contests back to anonymous voting to raise the vibration and bring us all back together again.

Many of you have been asking how you can give back and help support 420 Magazine. Since Paypal closed our account for being "drug related", and federal banks won't give us credit card processing, Patreon has blazed the trail for us to finally get some financial support from our community.
Our monthly overhead costs are anywhere from $5000/$10000 just to keep the lights on. Your membership donations help pay for things like server hardware, software, licenses, management & hosting, mobile/desktop website design, upgrades & maintenance, graphics for articles, events & promotions, website moderation & programming, bookkeeping, taxes & payroll, food, rent & utilities, prize packages & shipping, legal advice & consultation, miscellaneous service & support.
