Cheers, Black... Yep, I've decided they'll all come down over the next 2 weeks.. Atomic will go Friday night (excited!), CHMOG probably Sat morning or Sunday.. SOG the following weekend and GTH the week after.. Maybe the GTH will go longer...

It is a weird feeling isn't it.. You spend the whole time wanting to get to that time, then I don't want to kill what I've spent so much time getting to.. It's never left me.. Also once its choped down, that happiness of harvest has never left me either. It's a weird few hours, lol...

Yeah. Bitter sweet I think is the expression.. Was thinking the exact same thoughts not 20 minutes ago. Just went down and gave the GTH and SOG litre or 2 of water..they needed it; started trimming the fans off the Atomic.. What is it.. 14-odd weeks, plus another one or two getting the seeds going; I remember the initial stress of seed-popping! Now it bud-rot or hermie or whatever stress..
Will be good to get new seeds going; and sad to not see the the girls for much longer..
They have all pretty much stopped doing anything, except GTH, which is still getting fatter. She's still got more white than than brown, so a week or two at least.. Here's a few pics from just now..

OK. Harvest Update. Atomic, Day 58 (approx) of flower, about 16 weeks since popped..
Cut down the Atomic last night. Gave it a pre-trim the night before, still took ages!. Gave it a wash, then into the shower cubicle to dry. Shocking how much weight has been lost already! Heart-breaking is probably more apt.. I took the upper parts of the colas, leaving the popcorn below to go back under the light for a few more days to fatten up a bit more, if they do... Was thinking of putting them outside for that but it's too cold here at the moment.. Don't wanna kill them but then it probably wouldn't make much difference anyway. But might shock them into no more growth at all.. Wouldn't mind if I got a few seeds out of it....
Any thoughts on that? Any "late season" seeds would not necessarily be definite hermies, would they? Will sudden drop in temps in the mornings for a few days shut them down?
Anyway, I got a wet-weight of just under 100 grams, including stems. I left about another 20-30 little popcorn-nuglets to mature further.. Any good ones of those will go straight into the relevant curing jar but most will be for edibles/hash.. Including that with the trim I reckon about 1 zip dry total. Not awesome, but does look like it will be nice weed!
Plus, it's the smallest plant.. The SOG is so dense that I reckon it'll be double easy! Same with CHMOG, which I will cut in a few hours...
Which leads me to finally estimate the final dry weight of the whole lot will end up at around the 5-6 zip mark, which will include plenty of trim/popcorn for hash and butter, as well as lots of good solid buds for smokables..
Anyway, I will post the harvest pics as I go, one plant at a time so i can group-rename with the minimum of upload fuss.

Atomic smells very 'pine-fresh', with a hint of mint and antiseptic. Not as strong as the others but it really came out in the wash.. Washing's worth it just for the smell.. And the buds look so much better after.. All clean..
I rinse under the tap to remove loose hairs (Lot's. Cats, remember? Bloody cat hair everywhere..), then warm water with bicarb of soda and Ho2o in one bucket, then plain tap-temp water in another bucket to rinse...
CHMOG will be cut in the next hour or two, so will post photos sometime today or tonight of that.
CHMOG is very frosty and smells great. I reckon 45 grams dry from the CHMOG.... We'll see what the wet weight is.. I go by 20% of wet weight, maybe less.. The stems...

Alrighty then! Just a few more snaps of the trimmed Atomic.. I like a manicured bud, and I like trimmings for butter etc, so I trim about half the sugar leaves to keep, and leave the rest on.. Neat cuts look like manicured but there is still plenty of goodness there! I also trim the very tips off before this, just to cut down on the leaf material.

Harvest Update. Chocolate Mint OG, same age as Atomic.
She smelled stronger, and it might be wishful thinking but I reckon I can get the subtle hint of choc-mint. It's very sweet with a nice sharp dank edge. A bit piney but very pleasant... Lots of crystal, she'll smoke up nice. Got about 170 grams wet, plus again left behind about 30 nuglets, most of which are actually quite chunky; probably a good 10-12-15ish grams dry worth.. Should get my 2 zips or pretty close in total.
Some of these pics are a bit crap; the light was playing with me...

Oh yeah.. Going away next weekend (at this stage), and bloke coming the following week to remove my downstairs fibro, finally; so might harvest the last 2 next weekend together after all. I have spotted one or two ambers on the GTH.. Still plenty of clear, so no hurry but I would rather not have the cab running when the bloke is here.. Plus SOG was gonna come down then anyway.. I'm most scared of harvesting the GTH too late but too early is bad also. Will look during the week.. RD say 65-80 days.. Next weekend will be 66/7 days under 11/13.... We'll see..

Fez! I forgot too! I went back and saw the foxtailing... Yours went nuts with the foxtails! I reckon mine would've easy in another week..
I got the teensiest hint of blue/purple in the upper leaves also...

Smell was not too bad at all, actually one of the least stinkiest plants i have ever smelt great for stealth grows
