Lisa’s sugar leaves have a lot of amber not really seeing them on the calyx’s but the trics on the calyx’s are pretty much all cloudy and the pistils are like 90% browned I’m thinking it’s time to chop.
The lower part is obviously further behind.
Is it ok to take the main cola and all the regular colas that are ready and leave the lower stuff to mature along with the other two plants?
I would love some of y’all’s opinions. I’d hate to ruin it at this point.

Maggie seems closer but stating to foxtail?
I can’t believe how far apart they are in terms of finishing up.. gonna make it hard to dry them if they all need different humidity at different times

I need some handholding here as these girls finish up.
Being autos, they have pretty much outran the feeding schedule from Fox Farm.
This being my first grow I’m not confident in when to harvest.
Should I stick to the schedule or skip ahead to the finishing weeks?
my next feeding should be week 8 on this schedule but, I know they don’t have 4 or 5 weeks left.
Can you tell by the pics about how much time I should expect them to take?
They look cloudy to me but, I don’t see any amber yet and the pistils are starting to change color.
Any help this noob can get is appreciated!

You just continue to use the last step until harvest.

So I do believe you can cut the colas so the others can mature. Idk if it'll work on a auto. I'd like to think it can. Ive seen multiple ways to harvest. The gulliten style, just chop it at the neck and let it hang an drip dry. An the quartering, branches an colas dangling from a wire coat hanger like a bud wind chime. I've yet to have a 1st harvest and I'm so glad to watch yours!! And you have some big colas Joe

I’ll post some pics tomorrow and get y’all’s opinion but, I’m pretty certain that Lisa is ready, and baby Maggie is right behind her.

By the look of your plants, I thought you’d been growing for years. I’m battling every plant to keep it from dying and yours look like encyclopedia definitions…I hope you’re able to pick something up from this train wreck lol

Yes this image looks done. Be sure to check a few different areas. And trichomes on the leaves mature faster. So be sure your not making your decision based in leaf trichs.

Also, the answer your question about stage harvesting. It is not uncommon to harvest the ready colas/buds and leave the rest to finish up. This way the whole plant has a chance to finish up.

Perfect timing, I was just in the room checking them again. I have no amber trics on the buds but, a lot on the sugar leaves.
The pistils seemed like 90% brown but, it almost looks as if maybe new ones are still growing at the tops

This is of a sugar leaf. I’m not seeing any amber on the bud itself (might have seen a couple.. gotta re check when I get home in a few)

Week 11 above ground so not counting seedlings week 9?
Not sure how you’re supposed to count days on autos…. Regardless, late flower has shown a definite difference between Lisa and the rest of the gang. Lisa is shorter and more stout, and finishing faster. No support has been needed on her thus far. Maggie and Marge are by far taller and I’ve had buds trying to fall over for the last week. Two were finally successful but I propped em up with a skewer and so far it looks like they will live. They are smaller bottom buds anyway. The big heavy top buds are supported by a network of yo-yos.. I have a scrog net but didn’t know when to place it and had no idea these girls would get this big.
Some of the buds have yellowing leaf dieback like I had on my white widows, although no where near as severe and others have an even overall yellowing. This is all despite being fed non stop for a couple weeks with bloom nutes.
I can only assume the even yellowing leaves are just normal for late flower.
I say Lisa is ready to come down now but, I’ve been scoping her twice a day waiting to see a few amber trics. I haven’t done it yet mostly I guess cuz I’m lazy and in part lack of confidence that she’s done and in part I want to see what one more day does. The last couple days she’s almost gotten chopped more than once before I chickened out.. lol
Got some things going on today so today isn’t likely but, I don’t think she’ll make it past the weekend.
All of these plants have quite a bit of small scraggly buds under the canopy due to me not doing any training and very little trimming.
Next time I grow these, and I’m sure I will grow them again, I will know what to expect .

I've not added any unsulferated molasses yet to my feeds it's usually the last month i'll introduce it with a watering but that's how my leaf looks days after. It doesn't seem to affect potentcsy. I kinda think since they don't drink as much and the pots stay moist longer then the Ph starts going in circles.

Yeah for me, being new to this is tough. There’s a lot of stuff to learn and only two plants to test it all on.. lol
Pretty much everything I’ve read before starting including my own assumptions have turned out to be untrue. After harvest I’m going to make a final thoughts post and try to list expectations vs reality.
I’ve heard of people using molasses but no clue about why or if it would apply to what I’m doing.

Blackstrap molasses, it's got a bookoo of good stuff in it that plants crave. It's good for the soil. Feeds the micro life that makes the soil and roots thrive. And you can put it in your flapjacks too!!! Everyone gets a nibble!! Love bud porn.

These girls just refuse to finish up, lol
Talked to the good peeps at my local hydro store. He suggested going back to the beasty blooms instead of the cha-Ching, and pretty much dropping the nitrogen component from the feed. Lisa just keeps growing more foxtails and pistils. She has colored up some but I need something to nudge em over the edge.
Just did an extensive sledgehammer flush to rid them of any possible salts buildup and excess nutes. Checked the tds of the runoff and it was around 1100ppm on Maggie and Marge. Lisa was around 800 as I only gave her water the cycle before last. That tells me they aren’t storing anything crazy as that’s slightly lower than what I’ve been putting in. Once they dry back I’m going to try straight beasty blooms at 0-50-30. We’ll see what that does. Maybe taking away their nitrogen will tell em that this shows over.
Picked up a nice digital scope so we’ll get some close up bud pics tomorrow.
