TheBlaze's Sour Chiesel - Blue Cheese & Black Rhino In Coco

Thanks buddy, that is very helpful! Will read those links now as well.

Wanted to give you some reps, but it says I must spread the love. LOL

76g without the popcorn bud. Buds are a little crispy though. I really hope they get a little moisture now that they are jarred.

Yeah, I can't get my hands on Boveda packs in time for this harvest. There is a store in SA which stocks them, but that store is about 1000 miles away. At this time of year, I will only get the packs in about 10 days. I will definitely get some for the next grow. They sound great.

I will dry the sour chiesel and raggedy anne in the tent rather than a box. That is how I have always done it, and it takes about 7 days then. Much better.

Tead, I hope you're right. They sure are crispy. I will burp the jars in the next few hours. Maybe things will be a little better then.

I wouldn't use boveda paks for curing... But rather just storage post cure.

If they are pretty crispy...leave that jar closed for 24 hours to try to bring that moisture out. Do you have a hygrometer? It's essential brotha ...caliber iv is a great one...very accurate

Thanks a lot for the suggestions and kind words guys, and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

The buds have been in jars for almost 24 hrs and have been burped three times. They are looking and smelling great. You guys were right... plenty of moisture in the core of the buds which has now plumped them up and they are still dry but feel nice and spongy now. Exactly as they should.

Might have to try some later :cheesygrinsmiley:

UPDATE

66 days of 12/12

Plants are fading now, and the buds are nice and fat. Going to let them go a few more days and then it's harvest time again. I can't wait to try the sour chiesel again. It's been 2 weeks since the sample I took, and she was strong even then. She is going to killer now.

Here she is. Do you think I should enter her or the blue cheese in POTM?

Do you think she is more photogenic than the blue cheese a few pages back?

Thanks guys, and I agree with you Tead. Just not sure if I captured it properly on camera. We will find out soon enough I guess.

Hey blaze hope your being good lol! those plants look awesome btw...you shld enter one in POTM this month & the other next month. I plan another grow towards the end of jan so will be online more often...keep the good work up bro.
:Namaste:

Sol my man! Long time no blog! LOL

How are your buds treating you? I hope they're getting you baked good and proper.

Didn't think about entering both plants on consecutive months. Thanks bud. I'll do that.

UPDATE

Day 70 of 12/12

HARVEST DAY!!!

Both the remaining plants got the chop this morning. Raggedy Anne surprised me with the size and extreme density of her buds. She will yield more than I expected.

The 2 buds I'm holding up are the 2 biggest buds on the sour chiesel. What a great plant she has been. She just likes to get along.

Mickey looks shocked. LOL!

By the way, I'm 6ft tall so that might help put the size of the buds into perspective.
