Alafornia's 1st Time Multistrain Medical Grow

Hi Al, I missed a lot of things here that you have under control I think. These folks are so wonderful huh? This pic is from the problem solver. it shows Magnesium def. The write up mentions some things to use to make things right again.

Solution to fixing a Magnesium deficiency
Any Chemical/Organic nutrients that have Magnesium in them will fix a Magnesium deficiency. (Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients or it will cause nutrient burn!)
Other nutrients that have magnesium in them are: Epsom salts, which is fast absorption. Dolomite lime and or garden lime (same thing just called different) which is slow absorption. Sulfate of Potash, Magnesia which is medium absorption. Worm Castings, which is slow absorption. Crabshell which is slow absorption. Earth Juice Mircoblast, which is fast acting. (a must buy!! Has lots of 2ndary nutrients).
Now if you added to much chemical nutrients and or organics,( which is hard to burn your plants when using organics) You need to Flush the soil with plain water. You need to use 2 times as much water as the size of the pot, for example: If you have a 5 gallon pot and need to flush it, you need to use 10 gallons of water to rinse out the soil good enough to get rid of excessive nutrients.

Calcium may be involved but I think mostly Mag. For now everything is worked out! You might not need anything for the rest of the grow. The up potting works wonders. I don't want to add too much, Emilya and Amy and Shed and others have done all the work here. Just some more to add to the tools maybe.
Here's a pic of one from my last grow. She was root bound and recovered well.

Thanks, @stoneotter . I would have been lost without all the help around here that is freely given by good people.

Hmmm... the pitfalls of digital touch on/off switches, specifically those that might be accidentally touched on a humidifier.

The humidifier itself reads higher.

After a few minutes with the door still open but the humidifier turned on.

Mrs Alafornia was kind enough to make me breakfast but wanted something from the local deli for herself. These two greeted me going and coming.

I moved the humi away from the wall a bit to hopefully increase airflow and therefore humidity. I also set it on “hi”. The highest numerical setting is 69%.

And now for the “Top(s) of the Morning” picfest!

The order should be:

Westley
Nikita
MH1
Orange Sherbet
Northern Lights
Blueberry
OG Kush CBD

I personally would of waited another week or so as there was loads of space for your roots still to take over
This ^. Maybe more than a week.
Should I further prune some of these leaves?
If they get close to the soil they become a vector for bacteria and the like from the soil, so that's when to take them. Otherwise, anything with green is doing plant stuff.
There’s nothing wrong with the roots circling the pot like that while you’re building roots with wet-dry cycles. Many of the best growers here actually aim to get their plants nice and root bound before up potting - and then they explode in to the new pot once transplanted.

What's a good cal-mag and any other supplement good to have on hand for a soil grow?
I used to use Botanicare cal-mag plus along with my other nutes, now I use MegaCrop only.
@InTheShed can probably recommend a good one.
They're all pretty much the same, and tend to run 2-0-0 so they add a bit of nitrogen as well.
I'm using Mega Crop by Greenleaf nutrients.
Like VG, me, and many other growers here, folks are switching to MegaCrop if you ever decide to go with a outside nutrient-based grow.

Thank you, everyone!

Gave Westley a little top drink. Roughly 4 oz. it had been nine days (correction, eight days) and the pot felt very light and I was noticing some small changes in leaf color. It may have been the complete wrong thing to do but we shall see.

I feel ya, Al. I'll stare at my little seedlings for 30 minutes asking myself, "Should I give them a little water, or are they good?" On one shoulder is Emilya (with a halo, of course) saying, "what are the plants doing to let you know that they want water?" And on the other shoulder (with the horns) is me slurring my speech a little saying, "Awww hell, what'll hurt to give em a little water?" Thankfully, I rarely listen to little drunk, shoulder-sitting Fish.

Just catching up from the weekend and everything looks spectacular! Keep doing what you do, Al.

Humidity hovering about 45% by one and 55% by the humidifier itself.

Morning pics

Westley visibly grew some overnight.

I'm not the only one with an @Emilya angel on their shoulder? Bwahaha! When they are as small as yours you have to be a little more aggressive with the top soil to keep it moist, though.
