BBO’s Gelato: Hydro RDWC Grow

Hello all,

I’m starting my first grow journal. I’m not going to make it too long. I’ll get straight to it. But first! This is an exciting grow for me. This is my second grow and my first grow yielded 17oz of White Widow. I made a few mistakes but I am more than ready this go around! Let’s get down to it.

•(4) Current Culture RDWC Buckets
•Rockwool Cubes W/ Grow Stones
•(6) QB96Elites Ran Off (3) HLG-320H-54A Drivers
•Carbon Ace Carbon Filter W/ Inline Exhaust
•Inline Exhaust (Bringing Fresh Air In)
•AC Duct From House (Soon Buying AC Unit)
•Humidifier/Dehumidifier When Needed
•Current Culture Nutrients
•45 Gallon Reservoir
•RO System

So now that you have an idea of my set up. I’m growing Gelato which calls for up to 10 weeks to flower. I just concluded week 2 on 9/17 since planting seeds. Here Are pictures below in the humidity dome taken today. The left 2 have a good amount of roots showing from Rockwool the right 2 are just starting to show roots.

I just harvested a Blue Gelato #41 about 6 weeks ago.
Very tasty, probably the most potent bud I've ever smoked.
Good yield.
Mine was a different phenotype than I have seen from any Gelato, was 2 foot long spears.
You'll like it.

Im looking forward to it you can’t go wrong with gelato! Also I have 6 Gelato 33 seeds from jungle boys I’m going to plant in my 2x2x2.5 cloning tent. Going to try to find a solid female in there 1 seed at a time!

Well as you guys know. I went away for a couple of days and my Rockwool dried out. I over watered before leaving but wasn’t sufficient enough. I just replanted my last 2 seeds of gelato this morning. Hope they both sprout.

Sometimes I still get frustrated about it. They were practically ready to be transferred into my hydro. It is what it is. Let’s take a look back to my last grow and first grow that just finished. Some white widow which id say is pretty cured now.

It's cool man it happens. Just gotta keep growing. I'm pretty sure I just killed off a few of mine and they were quite a bit further along than yours. Got busy with the daughters birthday weekend and the plants got neglected. Just life I guess.
