Update. The Blue Dream x Barberry Brute(BdxBB) updates will be every weds. To keep them on a weekly update schedule. They were started on a weds as opposed to monday. This up date will go along with the veg updates. That one will follow this one.

Oldest first,BlueDreamxBarberryBrute clones(BDxBB).It appears I will not be defoliating the ModScrog of BDxBB. there is a significant difference between the defol'd tester clone and the non defol'd tester. The "extra" clone also has more girth than the two tester clones. I will attribute that to it being about 4-6 inches closer to the light during the first 10-16 days of flower. It was a 2nd test to see if there was a sweet spot. Not sure if I've stated this, I am unfamiliar with this strain as well as the Green Crack. Aside from enjoying the GC 2+years ago.
They are all at the same height away from the light now(in the sweet spot range where the "extra" was).The non defol'd tester was just a tad bit behind the "extra",a few cm. in height,yet noticeable bud girth since last update which was 2 days ago.

Next up is the BDxBB ModScrog. She is at 28 days of flower. Nice trich production thus far. It started 1 week ago. Overall,the clones and this ModScrog has been a joy to grow. Early trich production...check, bud structure/development...check, fits into my environment without fuss...check, will eat at the buffet without over/under indulging unless i say so...check, and lastly, she is easily cloned. she has made straight A's thus far. Let's keep the good grades coming.
No flash,don't like em will not be not using flash again.

This will be cleaned up hopefully by tonight's veg update.

This ModScrog is only my 3rd attempt at scrogging. I'm getting closer to an all even canopy. The pineapple express modscrog should be a better representation.

Green crack clones.I used 3 of the four that were solo'd to experiment. 1.has perlite up to the hempy hole and coco the rest. 2. Is perlite only 3. Is coco only. They were transplanted on from their solo cups on 2/3. They were taken all around the same height, and similar # of nodes and branches. They were actually stripped, and planted to be as close as possible in stature and appearance.
The coco hempy is out shining her counterparts. Not sure if i will top these or let them go as they are.

The lineup of the clones with the solo in front is to show the height at which they were transplanted from solo to milk jug at.The clones were taken out of the cloner and solo'd 1/7. 3 of the four were up potted to milk jugs on 2/3.
*observation* the coco only and perlite only clones are growing differently. The coco's nodes are longer,the branches are more mature as well as longer than the all perlite. Im really only comparing these two. The 3rd clone the coco/perlite mix is also in the experiment, but not so much as to see if I'd use the combo, but to have another gauge to judge from. I am really only interested in the differences between perlite only and coco only. Growth,watering/feeding frequency or lack there-of,end product of course. I'll end this long update here and resume it next post.

I had to go back and look. The "experiemnt" was the coco/perlite mix and the perlite only. They were damn near exact replicas of each other. Same size, nodes, leaf count etc. The coco only was slightly larger with different branching. My apologies. I was uploading at 4-5a.m. Once i get caught up, the updates will be much better.Trying to get all the pics off my devices, and keep them in order, then upload them to coincide with my updates is tedious! I envy you journal vets.

Mystery seed found growing in the pot of the second 3kings ModScrog during veg. I scooped it out and solo'd it. I then up potted it 2 weeks later into a gal milk jug. i'm not quite sure what this seed is. I think it's and Og kush seed I lost when counting and labeling my bean inventory. It certainly looks different than anything I've grown lately. I'm hoping for a nice surprise. I topped it. Also broke a branch trying to Lst the two branches that grew out from being topped. The stems were so turgid! As soon as she branche
enough to give me at least two clones, I'm gonna flower her out. I did stick the 2-5" top i snapped of into the cloner as well.

3Kings 4-in-1. I like this strain's end product as stated previously. She is just not conducive to my grow. 9 week strain popped nanners at wk 5. ScrogMod and clones. This is the third run of it. 2 Modscrogs and the two clones taken 3 weeks early. I will test the clones to see what the end product is like. If it's any good, I will run this 4-in-1 andtake it early. I have 12 clones of it in the cloner that will either get scrapped flowered in solo cups and taken early.

BDxBB clones. One will be used as a clone mom, one will be topped and flowered out. These were kept in solos until they were 14-16" tall and then transplanted. I topped one and took 4 clones that went into the cloner with the 12 3kings. The second taller one will be topped also and flower out.The clones were taken and put into the cloner on 2/4.

Next is the Pineapple Express clones. I had 3 of them in solos for at least a month and a half. Finally up potted one into a 2ltr coco only hempy. One of the other two was to be used as a pollen catcher. I decided to just pollinate one branch of the PE ModScrog and pollinate itself. I've been spritzing the "cs" PE for 18 days when the first sac showed. I have continued spritzing to current. I will stop once the first sac opens. Collect pollen and then pollinate itself and the selected branch on the ModScrog.

Decided to take more pics of the BDxBB clones. The leaves are getting funky. Looks like cal issue. Two of the three are also starting to fade. The non defol'd one is still green thru and thru.
Flower room was fed 17.5 gs of maxibloom powder into 2.5 gals of tap. 3.5gs of citric acid to bring the ph to 6.1 1013ppms ec 2.0

The BDXBB clones are really packing it on. They are at 45 days of flower. The two non defol'd clones are nice & chunky. The defol'd clone is no slouch. She just suffered in girth due to the experiment. She is the only of the three to still have no issues on the leaves she does have left. I broke a branch dropping a clone after their photo shoot.

There were 12 3kings clones in and 4 BDxBB in the cloner on 2/4. I added three more BDxBB clones from the modscrog when i cleaned her up. Couldn't toss 'em. So I decided to see how long they'll take to root. I usually get roots in 4-5 days. My clones are ready for transplant into hempy solos in 7-12 days(mainly strain dependant). These clones were ready to transplant on Valentine's day 4/14. They are definitely ready to go as shown by the color. Unfortunately, the three kings won't make the transplant. Ugh! I hate tossing living healthy plants!
