Closet Farmer's Soil Multiple Strain Grow-Juicy Buds? Aye Aye Sir!

Re: Closet Farmer's Soil Multiple Strain Grow-Juicy Buds? Aye Aye Sir!!

Personally, I'm glad you didn't go! I might not have ever met you otherwise.

Since I have my cave down here....Jo never sees all the mess. Actually, she does come down to talk sometimes...I think she blacks out what she sees.

I feel the same way you do at the moment......if the girls are fine, just let them stay that way.

:surf:

I know my friend. There were no wars during my term and I was prepared but I am very happy and a little disappointed at the same time. I don't know if this makes sense. It is hard to feel like being in the complete brotherhood of serving without being in combat. It is like training for the big game and never playing. I have to admit that is in my mind even though I am against stupid wars.

I am sure damn glad to be alive and really am looking forward to visiting you in a few months!

Sounds like a plan, gonna try and post Plant Porn Tonight!!! But am so tired. from the All the paperwork anf From going from DEPT To the next to get and complete paperwork, I am bushed, when I got home this evening, I had to water and Fertilize, and this is no easy Job, when everything is in 100 Gallon containers, and You use a water wand to water by Hand, then I had to fertilize and mix it by hand out of 5 gallon Containers, and Dump 15 5 Gallon containers after everything else, by Hand. As far as your question about consistency lasting for clones, it depends a lot on how often you take clones from the Momma, and I konow most Growers Might keep the Momma Plant, till the 10-20th time it is used, after that alot of them say they are No longer viable, from the constant Revegging, and move on to Younger Mothers!!! I hope this Helped CF, Damn I am Tired!!!

Gonna have to check out your plant porn! I beleive you when you say you are tired. I hope you get some good rest. I am impressed with your grow. I know that organics take a lot more attention that regular nutes. And my oc+ requires almost no attention! I see a lot of organic grows but never with the size of plants you have.

I was not going to use a mother plant at all. I was just going to rotate by taking a single clone from the clone plant and rotate that way. I don't see why this would not work. The timing is perfect to take the clone when it is in veg just before putting in flower. That is what I did with my three clone plants that are going into the flower room next cycle and they should be ready to go straight to 12/12 when these plants are through.

Hey CF ! Still liking your boot camp story. Sure glad I didn't go through that kind of stuff...just a mini version. What I am about to say should be taken as comments, not as criticism. I would never do that. You Marines were and are the best!

We had an obstacle course too. We went in pairs. Buddies they called us. I met a young black kid and we became best friends. So he was my buddy. We crawled through the live fire, barbed wire covered mine field just fine. It was when we had to climb a shear cliff by rope that my friend had trouble. I made it OK, but my buddy had trouble. He was almost at the top. The DI and I were telling him "come on you can do it!". He kept "saying I can't do it!"......so the DI said "Well, let go then!". The idiot did! Broke his leg and was set back! I still can't believe he did it!

Can't believe you guys still had cans in your C-Rats. We would be riding in a duce and a half and eating C-rats. The kids would run along beside of us begging for the cans. Didn't take long for us to realize that they would make bombs with them and throw em back at us! Sh*t!

Re: Closet Farmer's Soil Multiple Strain Grow-Juicy Buds? Aye Aye Sir!!

Your idea for taking Clones sounds Great, get em before they Flower, that is what most indoor Growers around Here Do, unless they realized to late that they had a Phenomenal Pheno of something, cause sometimes You have no ides till they Flower what You Really Have!!! I am Tired, On Edge, Y's B-day today, the thought of being extended( I REALLY DO NOT THINK I WILL.):wood: But You Never Know, Do You. CF, Just because You have not been in Combat, does not mean You are not a complete Marine, or a failure or anything else like that. You should THANK GOD, You never had to go into Combat, and make life and Death Decisions, whether it is the Enemy, or sending Your own into harms way, with the Probability they may not come back,You Included!!!:high-five: I would not be so AFU Mentally(PTSD), and some Physically and Spiritually and Emotionally. Feel lucky for the Cards You Have been dealt CF. There is a Silver lining in each Hand we are dealt, try not to forget that. I am no WARMONGER Either, But I am also Politically Savvy Enough, to realize, that sometimes FORCE is the only Viable Option!!!:thedoubletake: As Strange as that may sound?!? Glad Your Here Marine, Semper Fidelis!!!:bravo: Take Care Friend!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.:thumb:

Yes, We were still eating C Rats. Half of our supplies seemed to be left over from Viet Nam. We still had the old jeeps too that would roll over at the hint of a side incline!
I am glad I never had to serve too. It is great to be here and meet you! Thanks Buddy!

Thanks about giving me the idea for the clones. Definately a good idea to turn them around and replace when a better one comes around.

Funny how you seem to read my mind. I know I am a trained Marine. Just don't feel like I am in the complete brotherhood until I serve in combat. I know it is bullshit. I told this to another combat vet friend and he told me the same. Stupid me sometimes wishes I would have went just to have the experience. Silly huh!

James, I know you are not a warmonger. I am just a little tired of all the wars we have been going to the last ten years. I just wish we were more like Canada sometimes in foriegn policy. Just go when absolutely needed. Sometimes it seems like they are sending you to combat a lot lately. Just don't like it. I know that is the way it is though. And I still believe we live in the best Country in the world. Whatever happens, I hope you are safe!

My plants are doing great! Still have not used traditional nutes, just the oc+, cal mag and sweetener. I am going to have to do a photo update. Yesterday I defolated them. They were at day 20 but what the heck!

Great to have you stop by!!

What an experience I bet! That hurricane was terrible!

I have heard that the new MRI's were much better. I have never had one. I would like to try sometime! Even though the C Rations tasted like sheeeeite, they were really high in fat. That is funny that you ate so many!!

I actually gained weight in the field after boot by munching on too many C Rats! I was a generator mechanic. My job was to just supply electricity to the camps. I would hook up power lines in pitch dark. Get electricuted at least 2 to 3 times every time we moved to a different location. However, when my job was done, the Navy Corpsman and I would smoke weed all day while the troops were in the field. Then we would get the munchies and invade the C Rats. It was fun. We would make our own pipes out of the land we were in and then we would compare to see who made the best one. Then we would use the best pipe made and smoke out!! LoL!

Re: Closet Farmer's Soil Multiple Strain Grow-Juicy Buds? Aye Aye Sir!!

my wifes family is from Mississippi near the gulf, we lived down there for awhile and I sat through a hurricane(cant remember its name) wild ride tho. but when we went down after katrina well I never saw anything like it. total devistation. even when we got to the stae line the welcome to ms sign was mangled.and when we got to my wifes home town it looked like it had been nuked.
the weirdest part was it was so dark and quiet at nite exsept when the national gaurd would fly over in helicopters. my union sponsored my trip down their and my boss at the time made a hefty donation too so atleast I could pay my bills while I was down there.
man I cut trees off houses for a week solid and worked on operation blue roof lol putting tarps over roofs cause there was no materials to fix anything proper.
my wifes dad and I went over to my wifes best freinds house to see if there was anything we could help with, there was G.P.pine grove across from there all the trees were snapped like a to dry bud. so all the animals were displaced from there including rattle snakes, I shit you not the ground near her house moved snakes by the thousands. there were no birds chirpin no dogs barking other then an ocasional stray peacocks cackle. never seen or experinced anything like it.
sorry prattlen again:)

Prattle away my friend! That was very interesting. You explaned a hurricane very well!!
We were without power for over 10 days while my wife was pregnant during a different storm. We were on well water so without power we had no water or ac or anything. Totally sucked. My wife was miserable and that made me even more miserable!!

Re: Closet Farmer's Soil Multiple Strain Grow-Juicy Buds? Aye Aye Sir!!

well I had a propane generator that came out of a old RV that I took down, my motherinlaw has copd so she neede power for her breathing machine. we used that at night to run the ac for her but a tank of lp was exspensive and hard to find. about every 4hours the national gaurd would come by with a truckload of bagged ice. you could also go to the fair grounds and there was a drive through like set up where the gaurd would hand out ice and boxes of MREs.
it was a dry county and her dad(bless his heart) loved his beer. so we would drive to the county line after getting ice and he would take it to the bar and trade it for some beers lol. he's a hoot 76 at the time.he would clinb up a fallen down tree and try to get his party lights off it while I was trying to cut it off his house.
it was hotter then hell and the old man would go lets take a break and go for a ride. then we would drive to the La.border and he by a couple cases of beer and then we would smash them down before we got back home.LOL my mom inlaw does not aprove of alchol one bit. so when the cold ones ran out dad would yell break time and off we went.

Re: Closet Farmer's Soil Multiple Strain Grow-Juicy Buds? Aye Aye Sir!!

fish cake, I have a whole NEW respect for You after reading the above!!!(I RESPECTED YOU ALREADY, BUT MORE LIKE A GREAT COMEDIAN, A CHRIS FARLEY OR A RICHARD PRYOR), please do not be pissed, it is meant as a TOTAL COMPLIMENT!!! You have posted some of the funniest One Liners, I have ever had the JOY to READ!!! You are Brave as hell to go to Ground Zero of a HURRICANE ZONE. All The downed Power Lines, Snakes, Human Waste, No Power, ETC,ETC,ETC. I Tip My Hat To You Sir!!!:bravo: Your Father in Law sounds like My kind of Guy, in ARKANSAS they have Dry Counties Too, Once we were all there(THE FAMILY, ALL OF US,KIDS and GRANDKIDS) and there had been a storm that blew a Tree Through GRANNY"S Roof, Front Room. We fixed it all up for Her,actually better than it was before, it needed the fix anyways, even without the STORM and TREE. But She was QUEEN of HER CASTLE, and did not want it to be Repaired, because Grandpa(NOW DEAD, SINCE 1966) was the last one who had done any significant work on the Place, and SHE did not want it messed with, out of old Memories(I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY) but the place really needed the work. Well my Uncles all are Major BEER Drinkers(ME TOO AT THAT TIME, AND SOMETIMES NOW AS WELL), Uncle Johnny would call a break, and off we went in the Pickup Trucks, to the wet County, loaded up, and came back all Re-Stocked!!! Granny always said, Men and their Beer, it's like trying to keep a floor clean, You just cannot keep it from happening!!! My Grandma was a true Southern Lady, and like a lot of Southern Women, Chewed Levi Garret Snuff, Secretly(NOT FROM US OF COURSE) on the side. She never, ever drank Though, and ate fried Foods, and the best Homemade Cakes, Cookies, Pies and especially Home Made Ice Cream during the summer. She lived off of this(NOWADAYS) unhealthy Foods, and chewed Tobacco Her whole Life,She told us from the age of 10, well long story short, she lived to be 81. On everything Doc Oz implores us to avoid!!! Fish Cake, that In-Law of Yours Probably Knew what was going on the whole time(LIKE MOST SOUTHERN WOMEN DO), and just decided not to say anything to keep the Peace!!!:bravo: Great Story FC, I hope you were at least drinking Good Beer, not that 2% crap, or whatever it is, that shit takes a case, to just feel like You Drank 3 or 4. Love The Bible belt, and all those DRY counties!!! Take Care. SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.:thumb:
