Used my jewelers loup to take a close up picture, so would these small hairs be the beginning of flowering, it’s only been a couple days since I flipped.

no, thats just the female flower telling you that she is now mature enough to go to flower, or to be pollinated. You are still in veg.

Been a little since I’ve had time to get on here with an update but the girls are doing great we are now in flower. I defoliate them and fed them today and they are growing strong.

These girls are starting to bulk up and the smell is amazing, my only problem is I’m having heat issues and have to keep my main door open and have a cracked side door. With doors open I can keep the temps around 79F but with them shut it gets up to about 90F. I don’t have a filter or a fan to pull air out of the tent which is probably the main issue, need to save up money to purchase one but I’m staying positive and hoping the girls will finish strong with out it.

Also @Emilya you remember how we talked about the super soil I found on amazon? Well I purchased it and mixed it with roots organic soil for my blueberry grow. Let me tell you it’s amazing and probably the easiest grow ever. I’ve done nothing but water without ph’ing my water no nutes or anything and the bb girl looks amazing and has had nothing but great healthy growth. Now it’s an auto so it doesn’t have the time put into it as a photo but next grow I will use it on a photo to see the outcome of it!

What was the supersoil you bought? If you have space for a rubbermaid container outside, just premix 30 or 40 gallons of soil to have on hand....I also put most of my soil from my plants back into that container and re-cook it.

Yes, a fan is a must, filter maybe depending on privacy concerns. A lot of people love the AC Infinity brand, although there are cheaper ones out there. I currently use a vivosun on the tent and a can max on a scrubber but I have to have zero smell.

There are a lot of schools of thought on de-foiling, it makes for great reading. How are the clones doing?

yeah I just started a container outside and am working on making my own super soil. The clones I just put in Dixie cups yesterday so I’m hoping to see some growth from them within the next week or so! Also I’ve been reading a bunch on defoiling but I don’t think I grasp the concept yet. I will keep working on it tho! Your grows are looking good man! Those buds are looking healthy is that a 4x4 tent you have? If so you don’t waste space lol

Update- it’s been a productive day. Plants love the new grow room and temps were steady at around 76F. I lowered the light today around 3” and will do the same tmrw maybe adjusting to 75% on the ballast? I calibrated my ph meter and mixed up a gallon of water with calmag first 1tsp let it sit for 5 min after mixing. Then added 1tsp of floragrow and 1tsp of floramicro. Ph levels were at 6.01 after the mixture. I watered until runoff which was quite a bit because I haven’t watered for about 3-4days they each took about a liter and a half. Now it’s a waiting game to see how they will take to the nutes and lowered light.

Cool, that is exactly what I do. I never really bought pre-mixed....I just used roots organic as base, maybe a bag of FFOF or Sunshine4 depending on pricing.

Thanks for the compliment....Tent is a 3x3...I am a sucker for variety. I veg elsewhere just under a 100 watt cob running about half.

Looking good! Yes, you'll need to buy a fan soon. I was just using a 20 dollar in-line duct fan from Home Depot at first, worked great. Then, I experimented with filter placement, ceiling or floor for air inlet, to see where the heat was.

Haven’t been on in awhile but checked on the girls this morning and they are putting on some serious weight. I’m having trouble keeping the branches standing up so I’ve been trying to group them together so they hold eachother up. They also smell amazing, a very citrus smell. Couple more weeks and they should be ready for the cut. Also got a fan and filter set to keep the smell down and it’s keeping my tent a lot cooler thank you for the help!
