First Time Grower

Hello! This is my first time growing. I will be growing outdoors. I live in south western Ontario. I have decided to start from seed. I have 3 Blue Dream seeds and 4 AK47 seeds currently in Jiffy peat pellets (3 days). I have seen no sprouting outside of the Jiffy Pellets yet. Im hoping that is normal!

Okay so I got a little bit ancy because my seeds didn't show any change after the 3 day mark. I decided to check up on them a little bit. This is what I found! All 5 of the AK47 seeds have started but all 3 blue dream nothing yet! I also picked up a heated mat to give them a bit of help and I am now seeing moisture buildup in the jiffy greenhouse for the first time!

By the way here is my little home made setup for starting my plants indoors before moving them outdoor! Made it all myself and am quite proud of it haha

Heres is an update this morning! I have now placed them under the light. I am sure when I get home a few will be ready to be moved into solo cups

Just a little update! Today I moved the seedlings into there home until they are moved outside! I am not entirely sure about how much water to give them but I dampened the area around the seedling and gave a little more right around the stem. When I say dampen I literally mean dribbled a little water on it. I didn’t get too fancy with the soil as it is my first time. I used Pro mix Potting soil but i mixed in about 30-40% perilite.

Day 6 UPDATE

I moved the plants to my main floor yesterday as I found it to be slightly colder in the basement. This morning the first set of leaves are becoming more prominent! There are a couple of them with real spindly first leaves but I am hoping that is okay!

Good choice bringing them up, it was probably too cold down there for those seedlings

Always the hard part. waiting and watching is a nightmare for us. nice start and nice strains. looking forward to seeing the bluedream as a photoperiod. My last run gave me a new favourite in the Bluedreamatic auto. amazingly fat colas on this strain . They can get big without wrestling though. pulled up a comfy chair ( and face mask!). lol
