Actually I’m going to trim them, take pics then kill the lights. I’ll decide then how long to leave them in the dark.

1st parts done. Took them out of bondage and stripped the fan leaves off, now lights out. Ruined a pair of work socks, I overlooked that lol. Shxt ton of larf but all the uppers are like rocks. They’re not as imposing naked but still sexy. Next time you see them they’ll be upside down.

Good morning, today’s the big day! Around 2pm this afternoon will be 24hrs of darkness. I took down the lights, using as little light as possible and started cleaning up the anteroom. Im not sure I’ll make it to 24hrs, I might sneak down there while the kids eat breakfast. If they won’t leave me alone I’ll wait. I’ll post pics when they’re hanging.

Got quite a bit done. The grow room is now the drying and curing room. So far humidity is 50-55% temp 68F. Later today or tonight when the kids are in bed my buddies coming over to help trim. As I’m trimming, I’ll snip off the branches as I go and clip them on a string. I’ll deal with the soil when the plants are in jars.

I’m debating rather or not I’ll continue the journal through the cure. I probably will because I’ll be following other journals anyway and the added pressure might help shame me into not smoking it all before it’s ready, but probably not.

Before I forget (not uncommon in these parts) I want to thank you again @Emilya for all the help. You saved me a lot of trouble. And thanks to @Duggan & @PCaddict for the help and sticking around. And same for @nobodyhere , he’s been there for both my grows. So now that I’ve excepted my Emmy, here’s a few picks. Any guesses on weight?

No way! PC’s was that and he was in 10’s with way more tops. I’m in 7’s. My mains are bigger and I have one more plant but still. I have zero experience for reference so I can’t argue but holy shxt, you really think so? I was prepared to get excited about a pound lol.

I just checked. 71F & 60%H. I turned the dehumidifier on low for 2hrs. We’ll see what happens.

Fudo, remember to only have your exhaust fan/filter on and NO other fans moving air ok. The goal is always to dry it as SLOW as possible, in the dark. . Usually takes from 4 to 6 days with your enviro to dry sufficiently enough to clip, weigh then jar.

Oh shxt, ok didn’t know that. Thanks, I’ll go turn the fans off right now. That’s great because I could use the space for trimming.

Ya, ok, good, glad i mentioned that. Wat happens is (when fans move air) the outside of the buds/colas dry really fast , but only on the outsides, producing a harsher, uneven burn...NOT GOOD! We want it to be as smooth as , is possible. That ONLY happens if it has been grown properly and dried slowly.

Ok turned the fans off. That’ll make things much easier to control. The humidity had fallen to 45% already so I turned off the dehumidifier. I’ll go look again in a bit and see where it’s at. I’m thinking I’ll end up turning the exhaust down and the dehumidifier on low...
