Sadly with the recent mandates ect... I can only get Brian and Alfie , they had some spare time to do the show due to their colostomy bag changes being cancelled. After 4 days drought , I have half broken with the critical cheese and the #1 GSC getting 2L of biosys tea , ecothrive charge and a top dress with life-cycle . They both really looked like they needed a little love with their drooping leaves and the critical cheese had yellow leaves going slightly rubbery too. No pressure in those panels !. The Amnesia haze havent even begun to show any issue with the lack but do look a little more tacky on the #1 and also #2 . I will water before lights out and give them a good stodgy feed of the mc/shogun mix. They are loving the new light with so many well developed budlets everywhere . Keeping them open is my task now and they are fighting back after the pressure bends I apply gently. #3 amnesia has high praying leaves die to her position and height I think. She is getting a full burst of the 400w beaming down so I will have to watch for bleaching out now too. Clang issue is presenting more now so I hope the delivery gets here soon. Not a real problem but any lack of anything now is a negative to floweing. Fingers crossed.
Hey brother, I'm sorry for being somewhat quiet. Somehow the drought part completely went over me until I saw your last post. Been one of those weeks where I'm not firing on all cylinders.
The drought experiment that I'm participating in has been an attempt to replicate on a small scale the wonderful work being done by Maritimer and folks in his thread:

No worries matey. Quiet is just as welcome here. Lol I havent gone to the angles of leaf drop and all the science side by just done rough ass version of not watering until a good drop is noticed. Been watching the leaves more than the angle and just did it by eye really. I pcan see a little more frost for sure and I still have not watered the majority yet at 6 days. I will feed later as i worry about my timing of it in their peak need In flower but two definitely needed the relief of feeding. They look a little.less stressed today thankfully.

These are all autos t. They dont need any light changes just keep an 18 hours daylight throughout the grow. Due to their hybrid nature they usually go into flower around week 4 with the showing of the little white pistils at the branch joins. As they are ruderalis hybrids, they grow in veg very quickly compared to photoperiod. This is why training them is so difficult. They outgrow the ties daily . Pretty much a done deal by week 6 with the stretching ending then a 5/6 week full flowering to harvest. So different to photoperiods as repairs struggle to finish in time so cuts and toppings cut into growing time and can stunt them . They do tend to grow a lot smaller than photos too so it means I have to grow a few more to compensate. Great forna single space perpetual grow though as all stages can be in the same space doing their thing with only the humidity being a little out of synchronicity with this method as veg needs a damper environment so I have to spray them while trying to not let too much hit the flowering girls or dampen the room that the dehumidifier is working to keep at 56%. Just means more airflow to consider and plot. Love the fullness but can get frustrating as I dont like mega defoliation.It sure is a packed house

DAY 36 flowering: I have updated today to show the difference to the girls after the drought has ended. Mainly the critical cheese and #1G.s.c . They have both got a few yellowing leaves to remove as they get more cannabalised but getting the water into them yesterday helped .
I also have calmag now so all of the ladies got a very good dose of it to help with their nutritional uptake now they are at their bulking stages. I did not see a noticable drop in the other plants at all but there is a definite trich pushback so tacky to touch in places too. ( sounds like a CRT , LGBGTQ+×_£ school book !!)
I fed them today and will give them the same tomorrow to remoisten the pots.
10L water
10ml Silicon
12g Megacrop
10ml sumo boost
10ml pk warrior 9/18
15ml calmag.
I am bending the stems outwards on all the ladies to make use of all the extra coverage that the @viparspectraP400 has given me now and seeing all of the ladies getting a good portion of the coverage without jiggling and moving around , is a godsend too.
I am looking forward to see what it can do in the veg period now so will get straight on to the next run with it when these finish. The bud sizes are doing good for the time in flower with some looking very mature and colouring up as though the end is next week !. A second pistil flush will hide their colours soon enough.
The Amnesia haze #1 and #2 really remind me of Gorilla Glue #4 with the trich building and darker green stacks. They are tightly bunched colas too
All in all , I am loving the results of the swap and can see the lower buds fighting to get into this light too. With about 4 weeks at least to go , we should see some very nice sized nugs. The smell of the Amnesia haze ladies is so strongly candy sweet now too. Beautiful... with still so many fresh pistils forming , they should really use the coming weeks well now. Fingers crossed. DAY 40 FLOWERING: Hi all. Hope we are in the green and mean . It has been an interesting week with ripening , colouring and some very nice sticky buds that honk. I took these pics yesterday (day 40) and had a head wobble when I realised that 2 of the girls had switched identities !!! After a lot of checking and smelling , I have corrected their positions and names. Lol . At some point i must have got a little lost when moving the seedlings around and mistakenly put them with the wrong groups. The Amnesia haze #3 is actually the #2 Girl scout cookie
This explains why this lady is so much bigger , more ripe and advanced on cola production than her step-sisters !!!! The actual Amnesia Haze #3 is a perfect copy of the shorter and far greener sisters that the GS.c tried to fool me she was ....
so with that sorted I can carry on. The Amnesia haze are an 11 week (77 days) flowering period strain so still have about 5 weeks to run . This is a relief as they look beautiful and so frosty but are still to really pack the weight and size on. They really remind me of Gorilla glue#4 in appearance and growth so I dont doubt they will be worth the extra time now.
The Girl scout cookies are a totally different kettle of fish. #1 looks finished and ready to come down all if a sudden. I am surprised at how she has finished so quickly and will loupe her to see how ready she really is. She is still a little small for what I expected but there are a lot of smaller budlets tucked away too. Her leaves have been fading this past week and initially I worried it was the drought fun but seeing the actual colours now and how natural fade has such a beautiful spectrum of colours compared to deficiencies or toxicity , I am sure it is a quicker finish rather than a death knoll... She has been on full feed too so no time to add a finisher like the dragon force and maybe a day or two with some water to signal her finish and a panic to feed the buds and keep them supple/fresh with a little cannabalising before I chop her ( if she is ready) The pics are as good as I could get for real colour ect as this phone camera is poop and through a broken lens too.lol

The Critical cheese is still trying to take over like an octopus and should finish nicely with some long colas , around the same time as the Amnesia I reckon. I had to super crop one of her mains to stop it pushing the light up higher and that is also going for broke it seems.
The light is performing excellent in my room. It has given a really good coverage of all 6 ladies and a really intense light source for this important cycle. I am glad I decided to switch the lights rather than wait as I dont doubt that they would have been very cramped now. My room is a decent size to grow in but the apex screws it all up .

I am getting light to the outer edges of the plants too and with the power it is pushing out. I dont know if the fast ripening is due to this or not but the nugs are nice and solid all round. With 5 more weeks left to run on 4 plants , I will be able to get a good look at what it can really do in the most exciting and sexy part of the cycle.Until the next one. Be safe and well

DAY 45 F : Hi all and fellow Vipars. We have plenty of budporn for the discerning ladies and gents , tissues dispensed for the dribble by the bar. It has been a few days and we have some very happy girls pumping the aromas and starting to glisten like Christmas is coming ... it is a little of a photo dump of the last few days and the swapping around too. I decided to push the Girl scout cookie #1 another week at least to see what she does. She does have a few new pistils popping up so hopefully she will be good for another week at least. Her sister is a little less developed and can easily keep going. I did remove a lot of the dying leaf and without being overly concerned, do think they locked out somewhere along the way . All the newer leaf looks good to go and some look more natural fade but I also noticed that the 2 middle girls under the lights are both similar but strains !!. I may have confused things further when I planted the seeds as the #2 amnesia , is an awful lot like the #1 and #2 girl scout cookies !!!!!! Fading at the same rate , Looking very similar in bud structure and colour too , even the lower leaf looks identical!!! Ooops I think we have 3 Girls scouts and only 2 Amnesia haze . What a silly error .Haha oh well I will be smoking it all so it matters none. lol
Maybe I need to move the light higher , initially I have opted for swapping them with the other girls on the outsides to see if it helps. They smell really nice now and I cant resist a little rub of the buds to excite those terpenes .
The Amnesia are all very similar in production of the buds with lots of stacks forming throughout each pot . With at least 4 weeks to go and most of that for the bud building phase , I am fairly confident that they will produce some beautiful nugs that should be solid and stacked. The amount of frost forming now is also a great indicator of the potency to come too ! . They have a couple of brown spots where the calmag def showed itself and the #2 ( now suspected G.s.c !) has a lot of yellowing smaller leaves dropping off from the drought and intensity possibly but no real issues that need addressing. Roll on the harvest of these beauties.
The light is really impressive and I am looking forward to really seeing what it does with the whole cycle of the girls for my move back to photoperiods next run. I hope the photo drop isn't too much but they needed to get their portfolios out !!!. Be well folks have fun and keep those eyes red....

Heehee new names each time. You are a star T.lol I currently have 12 autos in flower between the two lights. Floor space is about 6.5ftx5ft . The overspill of the two lights allows a little extra space to be used too so I can also squeeze seedlings and a prop at a push. Photoperiods would be a lot bigger per plant so I think I would be lucky to get 4 under each light but a lot thicker and wider each plant. On the flipping to flowering with photoperiods, for me , gauge it in what inam doing to the plants training and plans wise. Larger plants are trained and recovered before flipping happens and if found a manifold, I would flip when they reached wide enough with each arm to go vertical with the stretch period. Keeping the stretching in mind is also a big factor with my limits here. The other grow is full of tall lanky sativa wannabes with huge gaps between bud sites. Such a waste of light and resources in a limited grow space really and better suited to outside sunshine and space. Imagine them twice the size and width to help decide what you can fit in at full flowering . Good luckGood morning G Banger!
