Hacker's Back, New Place Same Old Story

...Good evening to all, and welcome back. This evening I am gonna post a few pics of my girls as it were, but my BBTwist died overnight so it is an evening of heavy hearts. I have one more bean of it so I will try again. That being said my CBD Mass just popped through today, it is amazing how they just show up. I will be posting pics of that tomorrow in what will become my regular dump day.. Sunday, ahhhhh, a day to relax they say. Ha the person who started that rumor never had kids, or girls to attend to I assure you LOL.
.... Today I transplanted a lot of veggies, and have a shit ton more to do tomorrow as well. I had to take time to cut some firewood as it is still getting down to the mid to upper 30's here. Maybe another week, then it will be time to start getting out in the garden. I also accomplished quite a bit for my summer green house set up, with a moderate amount left to do in da am, but got the basics down. I will post some pics of the improvements in da am as well, but I will post a sneak peak tonite careful not to give out spoilers. He He..

Good morning all, and welcome to what is gonna be the longest day of the year thus far for me. As I had mentioned yesterday Sunday is my normal dump day. So throughout the day I will be dropping some shiz on you all. This am I am going to be doing alot more transplanting and green house updating and the like.
... When it warms up a little more, say around noon time, I will be working on the outside grow area. It has seen its better days, but I think I can still get one more year out of it before totally redoing the structure and land. I only plan on putting 4 to 5 plants in there, but it will be a tight fit of heavy hitters. Any one who was with me last year knows how I do my outdoor stuff. For the new people, first thanks for showing up and I hope you enjoy. Second I will be posting some old pics periodically, but you can always look up the old threads if you like.

... Here are a few of my indoor beds, and how I kinda improvised.

... You will notice that this is the same bed, just has propagation stages. First stage was the plastic shield for stupid chickens, till we closed them out they could just come on in through the side dog door and eat all my seeds.. I was Super Pissed.
..Anyway the second is the actual moisture, and temperature barrier which starts at about an inch and a half and goes up in the back to about five inches. This allows for the seedlings to grow unimpeded until such time as the green house is open for business.
... This concludes my am posting of the green house and I hope it was not only informative, but as enjoyable for you as this whole perma culture is to me. It isn't all about the cannabis for me, though canna is going to be abundant here for years to come.. Green days to all....

Ok phase two is almost complete. The outdoor grow area needs to be rebuilt, however I am determined to get another year out of it. The area has been used every year by peeps of the landowner, but never really taken care of. No maintenance of any sorts for a few years at least. Soil is good though and that is the key. Here are a few before pics.. I should also add that the size is of the 12x24 range.. Good size to say the least...

... Did not think to get more of the before pics, but here is a few of the pics after I " propped " her back up and worked the holes some. Added some new compost that has been cooking for a long while, and we will see what becomes of her before the new moon.. June 3 is when everything is going outside for good.. So much to do so little time etc etc...

Figures, tomorrow is gonna be rainy which is kinda no big deal but there is a chance of snow flurries.. Yikes.. All the kids are going into the greenhouse warm side tonight as the temps are gonna be down to freeze line.. Damn it... LOL. They will be fine, if I have to I will turn on the propane heater to heat the area up..

The back of the enclosure facing the hill/mountain nor sure what the snow melt/rainfall is like but without some kind of water retention barrier behind your garden do you perhaps think you might have a swimming pool as well with all the water coming off the hill slope/mountain slope.....

Hey guys and gals, thanks for stopping by. It is as predicted raining and cold. Grrrrr. So much to do still, I get anal sometimes because I just want to relax here and there. Not when I have stuff to do however....

Morning Smeegs, hope all is well in your little garden on the planet. I will take a few better pics of the outdoor grow area, but a few years ago someone had dug a small to moderate trench on the west side, and the bed itself is built up to almost raised bed status.. Either way there is nothing on the down side ( south end ) to really hold the water. On top of that the slope of the bed itself is quite steep, or at the very least very uneven north to south.. Thanks for mentioning that however, I will surely look into shaping that up before putting any plants in there... Green day ( or night as it were ) to ya...

... Greenest of mornings to ya Lion, what's cracking.. Yeah when I came here I was blown away by both the potential and the disarray of the property. The owner of the grow was taken ill a few years ago, and is just now back on his feet. Literally. Gets around good enough for a 64 year old dude, but has trouble maintaining the enormity of this area. Thanks for stopping by...

Good Green morning peeps... This am I am just gonna post a couple of pics of the newest of family members.. I am also trying a new, but old method as to the germination process.. Only 24 hours in water, then point down in moist soil... Old school way for me, but really effective.. Ok the new members are BBTwist ( my last bean ), Pineapple Gum ( just cause I had it ), and the last 4dub from my great friend Newty... Fyi, she is off on some wild adventures but will be popping in from time to time, However I caution don't hold your breath... LOL..
... Ok method pics and group photo.. Rain water in cups, and only rain water to use for quite some time as it turns out

... My new warm box, right by the wood stove.. Gets around 75 ish when stove is cooking...

Got my fancy temp circulation fan from the trash can.. Oiled it a little and that little thing blows harder that a broke hooker.. I mean box fan...
