Looking tasty Bro, gota say that XJ is looking mighty fine indeed! I was always under the impression that you couldnt read your PPM properly when you are running "Organics" cant remember were it read it now but it was somewere offical, Iv never grown organics so wouldnt take my word for it likely to be wrong.

Fingers crossed the flushing helps your ladies out.

Day 65 flowering, Jan 12th,

Well the ladies are finally turning around from my neglect to monitor my soil ph and they are shooting white pistol's out everywhere.. I think it should be very soon for my XJ-13 and Kali Kandi...im thinking 2 weeks and there ready...maybe sooner...

My og101 that was completely dying is now showing a lot of new growth on the buds, both healthy sugar leaves and lots of new pistil's. My og101 on the 400w side is finally starting to show a lot of trichome formation and seeming to get more mature as time goes on...

The holy grails are looking really impressive and I think I caught the nutrient lockout in time, yesterday's yellowing fans are now looking green again and tons of new pistils...

Beautiful nugs. Almost want to fap, lol. I was thinking about growing an easy indica for my first grow but I'm starting to genuinely consider that XJ-13. I love its fruity stank and the BUBBLES. Were they from clone or seed?

The XJ-13 was a pretty decent choice, but found out not too good for a scrog...I wish I had a separate veg area because I would have loved to let my XJ-13 veg for another month, to really let her grow... The smell of the XJ is amazing...its like a trainwreck type smell.... very minty/with a grape smell..hard to describe...but yeah, beautiful nugs... so far the most beautiful I have grown!! I actually chopped off a good 2g nug and am quick drying it on my heater...my whole room smells like strong bud!!! lol... Ill take some photo's and post a smoke report after its dry...

I took a small bud off my XJ-13 and one from the Holy Grail OG to quick dry and sample...

Ill shoot some close ups before it turns to ash and smoke a report write..

Ive seen ur posts on others journals i decided to check yours out and what a jaw dropper this thread is, your yields going to be amazing! Your harvest day is going to be busy as hell. Nice forest too bad im late for tye show.

Thanks for stopping thru my journal and for you kind words !! much appreciation man!!! Definitely hoping to do at least over a pound... So far the Holy Grail OG's are definitely going to be my top yielder, but I think the OG101 is going to supprise me when all done....

I am really so impressed with the XJ-13...looks, smell, and apperance wise...and only hope the smoke is the same.... I pulled a 2g or so bud and right now am quick drying it on my heater to give it a whirl, so I will let ya know how it is...I also am going to take some macro shots of the trichomes too..

As far as PPM's, usually not concerned with them with organics, or I've so learned to not be as critical, cause it doesnt matter, so I usually don't even check, but was curious what my runoff was when the lockout was getting severe...I know during heavy flowering the plants can take up to around 1500ppm or so of nutrients I've read, but my runoff was way over my meter's 2000ppm so I definitely knew there was a massive salt build up in the soil.. I guess I like knowing the "numbers" more for personal reference than for the actual importance with organics... was definitely interesting to monitor though...

Ahhhh that XJ smell is so distinctive. It's definitely got the Jack Herer smell in there (specifically the J-1 scent) but it has the spice of the G-13 in there too. I think proper XJ-13, like yours, has that same kind of bud formation. Goddamn.

I wrote a review on XJ-13 that you can find in the marijuana strains reviews section along with some pics... I got it from a friend who has been growing for years, and as you can see, your stuff is not far behind

Here are the close up's of the quick dried test nugs... I dried for about an hour and a half on high heat, jarred them for a lil while till the moisture sucked out to the ends, then put back on heater till dry... I know this is the crappy way of doing it, but still gives a good idea where the high is at, and the taste will be..

Haven't smoke them yet...so the report for that will be later... here's the photo.s



Holy Grail OG, close up.. Noticed that most of the trichomes are still mostly clear, the few dark ones I believe are from the nutrient lockout stress...this one has a while to go still..
From a smaller undercanopy nug..

XJ-13...not a large cola, but one of the smaller side branches...there are even hints of purple in this one, not sure if it is strain related or potassium related, but it does sort of have a grape undertone in the smell...hmmm... this one is mostly cloudy/milky, so I imagine within next week to 2 weeks I will see some more amber developing... she will only be getting very light nutrients and mostly humic, fulvic acids, and b-vitamins for the remainder of the cycle...

The Kali is so frosty, it almost looks blury when I look at it from far... such an unbelievable smelling strain!!

The OG101, I think is on its way from recovery, or at least I think I am seeing more new green sugar leafs but can't really tell, trichomes are still clear/cloudy so she will need a few more weeks...Hope that she turns out good after this mishap, still uncertain if PH was the exact cause of this, but definitely next round I am going to be much more careful

I forgot to mention... I am a little let down with Earthjuice and how it is marketed, but I just recently realized that Earth Juice Microblast is not organic, or at least so far I have not found any solid evidence that leads me to believe that it is. Earthjuice Grow, Bloom, and Catalyst are all OMRI labeled organic and ingredients are organic, Microblast is not...and the ingredients are not organic, most are sulfates which are basically water soluble salts, and with organics I just don't feel comfortable using salt fertz, especially this many of them.

...Kind of a bummer because I really was striving to be 100% organic, and here the whole time I was thinking that the brand HydroOrganics, and the full Earthjuice line was as well... Word to the wise..always read labels and research nutrients before believing what you are told or see advertised....

I was reading that BPN Micro is all amino Chelated, so as soon as I get some extra cash together I believe I will be using that for future grows....Anyone know of a good Organic K only nutrient? or should I just stick with high PK guano's?

Give BPN organic a run and see if it is better than EJ. Will all the meds be for you or some/all be for dispensary? They are looking better each day.

I definitely am going to try the BPN organic Micro, I really like how its chelated by amino acids...thats mad scientist stuff right there I'm actually very happy with the EJ grow so I am going to stick with it, as well as the bloom seems to be pretty good, didn't even have to use the Unorganic Snowstorm to get them this frosty

Still looking for an organic K additive, but have some time to find one, since these ladies are pretty much going to be getting humic/fulvic acid, organic-b, liquid carboload and hygrozyme for the remainder of the grow...plus some fruit juices

Depending on how the meds turn out, I've already talked to some local dispensary's and they are interested, so if all works out then some of it will be going to the dispensary so I can recover costs for nutrients, soil, electric and water... and I really would like to invest in a 2nd tent, with either led or induction lighting...for a veg setup... quicker turn around time then and more flexibility with seed growing and still scrogging..

Well sorry everyone, I didn't take any photo's today, but I will tomorrow for sure...

I am happy...today I finally placed an order for a reverse osmosis system... I have shopped around online and read tons about r/o systems and I am very happy with my purchase...It should arrive within the next week, ready to hook up

I was sick of going to the store 2x a week for water, spending over 15$ a week between my plants and drinking water...and more on weeks I flush... so in the total of a grow period...I was spending about 60$ a month, or around 250$ a cycle on just water..... rediculous right... so my solution...

Cost me 185$...

I get... sink/faucet hook up...

1micron particle filter
.7 micron carbon block filter (chlorine and choramine removal)
Choroblock GAC carbon filter (chlorine and chloramine removal, 2nd stage)
98% rejection rate, 75 gpd R/O membrane
inbetween the r/o and D/I filter I have a 3 way valve to switch between r/o drinking water and D/I plant 0ppm water

last stage is a D/I deionizing filter.. this will trap any remaining solids/salts/particles and produce neutral 7ph 0ppm water...

Way better than the hydrologic ro200 for over 200$ and much much better than spending 250$ per cycle, not to mention all the gas and time in grocery store lines buying water, storing water bottles all over my apartment for recycling... cant wait for my first glass of pure water

Other than the order...today I hung some strings from the top of my tent to support some of the very heavy supercropped cola's that were starting to sag too low and break apart where they were supercropped... This also allowed better light penetration to the lower buds, as well as better airflow...
