Yeah! Suck it pythium!! lol

Well ive decided that my clones have just accepted me for who i am! After talk of pulling the plug they continue to make me look silly as this morning 11 of 17 are rooting or starting to root, its hard to see in the pic but ill put up a couple anyways. Not to mention there have been at least 3 occasion where i have somehow forgotten to turn the pump back on after i checked them, DUH! The first two times the got pretty droopy and then perked back up. Yesterday when i did it they were just like "whatever" hahaha and didnt even droop, what troopers! :laughtwo: I did find it interesting that on each cutting i cut the bottom at a 45 and scraped the outside skin of the plant but pretty much all of the roots are forming above where i scraped them. So perhaps i did it too much or maybe i shouldnt do it at all? At any rate the next batch i do take whenever that may be i am going to flush my mothers a bit first to try to remove excess nitrogen and see how big of a difference that makes

Hahahaha fantastic exclamations! Thanks guys! I'll have to take a pic of my two mother plants roots next, they make my poor little 3" net cups look like they're about to explode!

In addition my clones must have heard me talking tuff about pulling the plug on them cause over the weekend 5 of them have sprouted roots :) So i guess for anyone who is having trouble cloning all you have to do is threaten your plants with death and they'll jump right in line! lol

:rofl::rofl: Dude I swear thats the exact same talk I had with these two mothers I have going, right after the two seeds before them wouldnt grow!! Freakin hilarious!!

Clones look great J! How many days in the cloner now??

Well I thank u sir! Ummm I'd say 11-14 days right now? Not sure exactly. But I tell u what, now that they are forming or have formed they are growing quick! Big difference even from this morning til after work somi can't wait til morning!

Nice work on the clones, Jango - your thumb gets greener every day! :bravo:

Thanks buddy! Id say all of our thumbs keep getting greener everyday! And every time i handle betty my thumbs get sticky too! :allgood:

Well im pretty excited for the next few days. As i was saying about a week ago when i listed out my new plan i am getting ready to expand! Tomorrow im taking the day off of work and my crew is assembled and we're building the add on room to the existing one. The current room as said before is around 8x8 with the horrible 3x4 drop down area from the stairs and the shelf i have over the clones and moms takes up about another 2x8 area. So really when i walk into that room its like i have a 2x8 walkway to move in and its just not working. So the new add on is going to be 8x10!! OH YEAH! Tons of room for betty and all future flowering, no more dealing with black plastic to block light, no more hitting my head! . . . . hmmm well ill probably still hit my head cause im 6'4" and the basement is 7' with the usual pipes and ducts and other obstacles, basically when you're 6'4" you hit your head on everything lol but i digress. Its gonna be awesome, stand by for a big picture update on Monday!!

Hey Everybody! Hope you all had as good of a weekend as i did! Lots of progress made, new room constructed and operational! Helped out tremendously in function heating, room, everything i was hoping for! :yahoo: I got my good camera too but havent had time to upload photos from it, not too mention the red is a bitch to take pics in so ill have to get some normal lighting to take GOOD pictures with, but here is a big photo update! The first pic is my new screen setup, the purpose of it for my current grow is to help support and spread out the plant to maximize lighting, i havent done hardly any defoliation this grow and these snow whites are sooo bushy. I figured i better not mess with it and do anything different now so bending and spready is the strategy and ill mess with more pruning on my next grow, not to mention i never intended to let the plant get this big!!

Whats great about this screen is in addition to the spreading and support i have it also hooked to the bucket lid and the whole thing is on 4 light hangers so im able to lift up the whole entire plant with the screen for easy access to my bucket for res changes, topping off, and checks which is awesome cause it was becoming a real hassle! Ill have pics of it suspended later so you can see! Actually i have more pics i uploaded but im not even gonna put em up of her right now cause they do no justice so ill wait for better ones lol.

Here's a couple pics of just my one mother, the other is hiding behind her, these girls are just freaking beasts! I dont even know what to do with them at the moment lol, i have to re adjust this room as well now that i have two seperate rooms these girls need some more head room. The trunks on them are so huge hahaha! They are over 3 ft now, the silliest part about them is the little baby 3" net cups they are in!! That right there tells you have much bigger everything has gotten then i had planned!

And finally how about some clone roots! Tried taking pics everyday but this is the root progression from the last 6 days

Wow Jango - great update! Congrats on the room upgrade, and glad to see everything looking so healthy. I like how you have the screen attached to the bucket lid. That's an awesome idea. :thumb:

That huge trunk in the 3" netcup cracks me up. I'll be that thing is pretty stretched and abused. Crazy!

^^^DAAAAAAAAAMN^^^ Nice work my friend! Congratulations on a very successful upgrade to the space! I cant wait to have a space like that to work with someday!! You're moving right along at a perfect pace, I cant wait to see that screen all covered with colas!! Roots look healthy on the clones too, you're in for one hell of a baby sitting job there!!:goodjob::high-five:

Looking good.

Somewhere within your camera's menus/setup will be a White Balance setting. There will probably be a few settings like sunlight, incandescent, etc. - and a custom setting. Generally, you adjust the custom setting by getting a plain WHITE surface (poster board, etc.), aiming the camera at it, and saving the setting in the camera.

Won't be a perfect representation of the colors your plants would display under natural sunlight, but might be pretty good.

Whoo! Yeah its sooooo much nicer having some room to finally move around in there! Betty's buds are all getting nice a huge, everything is going great, clones are doing great, temps are great, the planets are aligned, everything is exceeding my expectations!:yahoo:

Hey TS, long time no see! Thanks buddy and +rep for sure on the camera tip! I never even thought of messing with the settings, duh! :lot-o-toke: I'll for sure have to try that later and see if i cant get some really nice pics of the buds up!

So not much has been going on lately, in the last few weeks til harvest so just kind of watching things fatten up. pH did become a little bit of an issue as it was dropping like crazy instead of rising slowly like usual, which after some research i guess is normal as the plant is taking up a bunch more of P or K? i forget what i read but it said it was normal at this part of the grow. I also finally decided to do a little bit of defoliating. I had been dead set against it this whole time just cause its all new to me and i didnt want to screw anything up but i decided with how bushy my girls are that they could us a haircut. I didnt go crazy with it, i just tried to open up the canopy and removed a lot of the fan leaves that weren't getting any light so that all the lower buds could get some more light and air. So whether or not it was the right move i dont know but its all part of the learning process i guess! Here's a few pics to go with this update, ive still been using my stupid cell cam just cause i havent had time to hook up my good cam to the computer and download and resize, etc, its just to easy to upload them using my cell. The first one is just to show how i can suspend the lid and plant in the air with the screen, then a couple of betty after her haircut and you can see how the middle is opened up for light to get down in there, and then a pic of the clones and their roots. Thats my next task is getting prepared setup for all the clones. Im wanting to set up an nft system and start growing SOG so thats whats currently tumbling around in my brain lol.

Hahaha thanks buddy! No the clones are all still accounted for, well I guess about 3 or 4 never rooted, but mostly just reorganized. I put 4 in the pots with dirt for a friend and there are about 10 more snow whites and 3 northern lights still in the cloner! Some awesome bud porn coming in a day or so, got some awesome pics with the good camera!!

Chompin at the bit for harvest time!! :yummy: About two weeks left, switching the nutes from bloom to ripen today for a week and then a week for flush. Might possibly go two weeks on ripen depending on how they look! Clones are looking fantastic, 5 are in dirt for a friend and the rest got put in net cups and given 1/4 nutes for my upcoming sog grow. More clones taken yesterday, mostly NL and a few SW as last time it was the opposite so i thought id give me SW mom a little more time to recover, took about 20 total. Did it slightly different this time. Last time i lightly scraped the skin on them but noticed that pretty much all of the roots started above where i had scraped them before. Also i plan on doing a much better job of changing the water for them cause for the last batch i left the same water in there for a few weeks so i plan on giving them fresh water weekly which is what i should have done anyways!

0630011008a.jpg

This pics a little blurry but i run the 12 line pump i have in there for about the first week to really make sure the roots are getting enough water even though they are hanging down in the res a bit i like to make sure!
0628012016.jpg

Again pic is a bit blurry but i took 10 NL on the left of the black line and 6 SW on the right
