You experienced growers are used to seeing plants like this I guess. I'm not. I don't have enough superlatives for her. Nothing has changed except the girth and size of her buds. Even when it's 98 degrees outside I am able to keep the temperature inside the tent in the mid to upper 70s. These buds have never seen 80 degrees. Just figured we'd do the plant basically as cold as possible, so like 74-75 by day and as low as 58 overnight a few times, mostly around 62 overnight. I don't know if this accounts for the colors the buds are starting to show or not, but it seems that the color output has hit a new gear, and damn some of these buds are fat as hell.

Some plants like higher humidity than others. 55% isn't bad at all. That's usually around where mine falls in flower.
Some strains like Grandaddy Purple like a lower rh in flower due to the bud size and density whereas a heavy leaning tropical or landrace sativa can handle a bit more.
Your strain should have some specs if you want to be exacting.
I would call it close enough for me.

Thanks man. And yes, it does. I've almost done it several times and every time the buds stop me. I can't take the chance moving her around at this point. Too close to a sweet finish to mess with what's going on.She looks pretty fat... makes you want to put her back out in the sunshine I'll bet

Thanks VG, I appreciate the input a lot. And yeah, i agree with you, I'm just being spoiled. I personally want it to be in the 40s preferably low 40's. I know 55% is workable and not an issue, it's just I HAD it in the 40s and then the rainy season hit. Lol. Oh well, I can't do anything about it but complain anyway. The Gorilla tent has the same deal to a lesser extent, as it is much better constructed than the Topolite, and much thicker, so the environment is better controlled in there. Plus it's in the back of the garage whereas the Topolite is in the front right next to the heat and humidity source. And I'm thanking my stars for the decision to do the scrog there, cuz the scrog is obviously much more packed together than Sadie solo, lol. I've had to really keep up on the defol in the scrog so that i don't risk bud rot and I've made sure to have TONS of air flow through the plants so stuff like powdery mildew and other moisture related crap can't settle on the leaves. 55% in there bugs me a lot more than 55% for a solo plant that's completely spread out in terms of the bud sites. Anyway, thank you as always for chiming in. Your plants are gorgeous. You will post your yields at the end, right? I'm obviously way curious about the GTH as I continue to entertain it for my next grow. Thanks!

Friday Night Scrog Update

So we keep trucking along in the scrog. The buds are still reaching and getting taller and wider. I'm thinking they have roughly three weeks to go.
Stats:
Humidity is up a bit in the mid 50s due to the weather. Temp is stable in the mid 70s by day and high 60s by night. Ph has been pretty well maintained between 6.5 and 7.0 for almost the whole grow. Nutes at this point are 1 1/2 tsp/gallon Tiger Bloom, 1 1/2 tsp/gallon Big Bloom, 1 tbsp. blackstrap molasses, and 1 tsp/gallon CalMag plus Iron, and the watering system has not changed. They are getting hit with around 1175 par across the top of the buds.
Smells:
Blueberry Muffin - honestly smells exactly like you are standing in a blueberry patch. Far exceeding my expectations
Jelly Rancher - smells like pink and blue cotton candy from the boardwalk
Pineapple Upside Down Cake - smells very sweet and very dank, but not specifically like pineapple just yet
Overall my filter is containing the odor pretty well although if you put the outflow right in your face you smell the sweetness and dankness wanting to bust out. It's pretty damn stinky.
All the buds are frosting up like mad. Even the bigger fan leaves are sticky on all the plants, especially the Jelly Rancher. The resin production is incredible. I'm giving my new light I can't discuss a ton of credit.
That's about it except for the porn. For today's pictures I turned off the reds on the light, so this is as close to the actual color of the buds as I can present to you. I focused on specifics of each of the four plants today. Here you go:

Hey @Bill284, I have a question if you have a minute. You see these pics. Do you take all the larger fan leaves from above the screen at some point? Like nowish? To expose all the buds? I have no idea what to do now. I just picked a small bud off the base of the Jelly Rancher in the scrog to see it under the scope. I found it full of seeds. So I started checking. There's not the SLIGHTEST sign of anything indicating male or hermie on this goddamn fucking Jelly Rancher, yet there she is. FUCKING SEEDS. NO NANNERS. NO BALLS HANGING OFF ANYTHING. NOT THE SLIGHTEST GODDAMN SIGN OF ANYTHING MALE ANYWHERE. ZERO. So I started checking.
I HAVE A GODDAMN TENT FULL OF SEEDS OR WILL BE SEEDS AND NOT THE SLIGHTEST SIGN ANYWHERE TO INDICATE IT. I look EVERY DAY. CLOSELY. There hasn't been ONE sign the whole grow of male. NOT ONE. And there isn't now either. I just ran my Yoda and another grower friend through the scrog via Facetime and neither of them can find or see the SLIGHTEST SIGN OF MALE.

I might be the wrong person to ask buddy.
My process is to leave everything regardless. Even dieing ones.
And I've never been in a position to use a trellis as I move my girls up as they grow. But that's changing.
I think the whole point of spreading them out is to get more light to bud sites. So removing the odd leaf i don't think would bother her.
All I can say is everything looks perfect to me.

So sorry to hear Jon! Diatomacious has the only advice I can think of. I've been smoking my testers with seed this week and the smoke aint that bad. It's still better than store bought, just a pain in the ass.
