I made a beautiful track for a dance company once - a rolling swaying breakbeat with nice phat soft keyboard pads, some whale samples and hired a friend who was a beautiful counter-tenor to sing over the top. (Some French folk thing called Bailero). It was a very effective and relaxing mashup! What’s your range Bear?
