Week 3 (Day 17) Plant's A,B,C and Plant D is Week 1 (Day 8)

Should I start LST? Plants are bumping into each other and i'd like to train them away from each other. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated! Also thoughts on topping and/or filming right now? Thanks!

You can always start LST. Move those stems and leaves to where ever you'd like them.

Wait to top or FIM until at least the 4th node. Gives her a good shot when she's a few weeks old.

Cheers

I just topped mine.... Some were a bit premature but this strain don't mind it. 3 nodes is kind of the minimum 4 or 5 is optimal. You can begin lst as soon as you want. I would wait until you top them and then begin the LST on the new tops, IMHO. They all look ready besides the last pic.

Solid advice right there!

Thank you both for your input! Rep points awarded!

Just wanted to share one of my favorite vet quotes.

"Congress should stop treating veterans like they're asking for a hand out when it comes to the benefits they were promised, and they should realize that, were it not for these veterans, there would be nothing to hand out." - Nick Lampson

:amen:

Been reading about LST and topping all night. Thank you Master P (Pigeons420) for the LST link! Very helpful brother! Told the ladies to get some rest because in the morning they start training. :)

High legalhydro, can you share that link Pigeons420 gave you? Or if you have to you can PM me, thanks.

All the new growth is looking super legal. The conversation on LST is so timely. I'm coming up on three nodes with my Afghanis and I'm thinking one of those babies should be a good training ground for LST. Pigeons, I'll be consulting you as I go.

UncleCannabis, love that new avatar. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Here are pics of some girls that were bonsai trained for 16 colas.....or LST as you call it.

In general the more colas you go for the smaller the colas will be. It may also be worth mentioning that some indica varieties are a bit sensitive to being topped and/or tied down.

:goodluck:

Note: I am approaching my next rez change so don't mind the salty griminess. I am doing a rez change every two weeks instead of every week because I'm running 24 gal. Should I do it every week? Also I'm wondering why some leaves are twisting... some of them have almost twisted upside down. Should I defoliate?

PH is 6.0 as of this post. Iv'e been battling to keep it down everyday. It seems to jump from 5.8 to 6.2-6.5 within a day!
Grow tank temp is 68-69F and room tempeture stays between 75f-81f and averages %40-45 humidity.

Just noticed two of my "Surprise" plants are showing. I'll showcase them babies later tonight.

What's your ppm

Hey brother thanks for stopping by!

I am PPMless right now. I know... it ought to be a sin to do DWC without a PPM. Took me forever to get a real PH meter. I'll be grabbing one tomorrow (Hopefully) I've put it off for way too long!
