Nice job lowrider those plants are looking beautiful. To bad about the hermie but more feminized Pinapple Chunk seeds sounds pretty awesome

Hey N420,
Its not a hermie mate. There is a difference.
Hermies happen due to not stabilizing the strain properly, enviromental factors including light etc. Looks like balls or balls on stems if male plant. Is a male flower on a female plant.
Like the Gelat OG I had to kill.
Pollen will only produce seeds with hermie traits.
A plant that Bananas is a female plant trying to pollenate itself because its near the end of its life cycle.
The flower protrudes from the bud itself, and is yellow and looks like a few bananas.
The pollen is harvestable, and usable for pollenation if from a fem plant.
Any pollen that hits another Female plant will make Feminized seed.
I have made fem seeds like this before, except this time I panicked and pulled them nanas....should of collected them.
I have to get the microscope out because this doesnt usually happen until late into flower... There is a mystical unicorn Pineapple Chunk that finishes in 55 days flower. I have never had it, my haw sativa leaning pheno went 75-80.
Heres an old Barneys catalogue from back in the day...post guilder though....
Now if I have the short flowering pheno, that maybe why I got nanas, CMH is known for finishing early as well.
Wishful thinking I know, but nothing should throw nanas before day 45.... Unusual, is super frosty and the structure is just right.

My bad I had a plant in my last crop put out some bananas and after I asked around was told it was a hermie plant and I took it down. It was only half way through flower
. Thanks for clearing up what a hermie is sounds like I took the plant way before I should have lesson learned who you take advice from- Thread starter

Yeah, its hard mate, theres a lot of shit talkers out there these days.
You get real advice from members on forums like this that give you Solid advice. 420 is good like that, quite a few growers here I respect and look up to, some great results....

Tried to get some trich shots with pgone over microscope, harder than it sounds, as is getting a good medium light source...lol.
Looking pretty clear to me, so unsure.
There is a chance the pollen is sterile and its just a trait, or I get some nice seeds.
Meh! , suppose we just suck it and see....
Oh, forgive the shite photography...no loop, or digiscope.
Off for a joint...they still kick arse frosty buds...I may just need a nursery....hehe.
Pretty far into flower too 40 odd days of 63, if did get some seed will be minimal.
This is why sometimes bagseed is prone to hermie, thats from hermie plant.
Occasionally you will get one like the self pollenating fem, and the seed may be fem.....

Week 6 Day 6 since flip......
Hey guys, got busy in the room and defoliated all the girls, bit more budsite light and airflow.
Just 8 plants.... Filled 1/2 20L bucket. Lol.
They had PK pretty much all week, so just gave them a flush with PHed water and drip clean.
Next feed we hit them up with the magic.. Shooting Powder!
For now, some plant shots....
The Quadliners are going well, almost ready to train.....
Need a joint now.....

Couldnt help it, trimmed plants, but think I failed on the quadliners.... I got stuck in old habits and tipped them out again... DOH! So now its just a tipping out to achieve nice bushy canopies for mums for cloning and will pot others up for next grow....smash it in 20L buckets maybe....Mwahahahaha....
For now.... My trimming effort after a good flush, couple a lil yellow.
This is how I usually train plants that I tip.

Yeah they are all natural, none tipped or trained, just defol yesterday.
Pretty happy with how they are going.
Gave them some water yesterday to flush out PK, Next week we go onto Shooting Powder....3 weeks of that and we will have a bud show....
Mate, I spend ages just to get a couple of decent shots.... Bloody not easy.
Harvest should be good, hoping for Pound and a half, think it should go 2 pound...thats only 4oz a plant dry...easy.
