Chop Chop

Mama Mia came down last night. She lived for a total of 13 weeks under 12/12 and has some big, dense and chunky buds with very little popcorn and trim. I smoked my sample as I was trimming and early indications look good, not much taste and the smell is a little off but she smokes really well and hits quite hard. I'll be sure to get a dry weight on this one. Some pics for your viewing pleasure.

Her place in the flower box was immediately filled. A gift from the cosmos was put into a small 1 liter pot, I hope to see her in about 4 days.

Cloning Crazy

I was a busy boy yesterday. Before I sat down to trim up Mama, I cloned my veg space. Everything is in a mess up ther, I've not had the time to spend training etc so I've just been throwing water over them every few days and letting them grow wild. A trim down was what was called for. In my 2x2 veg space, if I get 100% on the clones, I'll have 23 plants, I can make a plan from there.

Cheers Jim, I have 2 more beans and will grow it again. I took a sample last week, smoked it while trimming last night. Great smelling when first cut but the smell faded some when drying. A bit harsh but it hit well.

Hope all is well in your world.

This update is to keep you posted on what's happening in the gardens.

Much has happened since my last update. All the flowering plants were harvested and dried.

The Jack Herer in the small pot pulled a gram shy of half oz. Here she was on chop day.

Critical kush was next on the chopping block. She was a scraggy thing at chop, falling all over the place. Pulled me an oz of quality smoke.

Last to face the scissors was Funky Jack Herer. This is the girl that grew into the top of the box and just swelled from there. She brought me a couple of grams under 2 oz.



The Blueberry at my buddy's house is scheduled for chop this coming Sunday. I estimate 1.5 oz there.

Totals for plants, I finished, this run are,

Northern Lights 1.8g
Jack Herer 13g
Critical kush 29g
Funky Jack 54g

Total 98g or little over 0.5 gpw. Not bad for 12/12 From Seed with no training.

He is amazing, isn’t he?

Amadeus... that was one huge harvest out of that tiny box. You inspire me. When I move into my apartment we’re looking to set me up with a decent armoire converted to grow cabinet. I look at what you pull off and think I could make that happen in a smaller box.

There’s such romance in the bigger plants, they’re hard to let go. Even keltic went big after a couple years. Lol!

It’s cozy here. I’m glad you’ve kept the journal running.
