Not very. If the seed opened up and spit out pollen, then the entire tent would probably be pollinated.

Well i am still gonna Finnish out in a different spot. Still might selectively seed. Try out a cross breed.

The price of seeds is kinda crazy so it really doesn’t hurt my feelings. How many seeds will one bud produce ?

I must have been blind to miss them
I touched a few to try and cut them off they just let there pollen out and fell off. I guess in about five weeks i will be counting seeds. Lol another beginner mistake.

A bud should ideally make one seed per pistil that's pollinated!

Well how would you be able to tell how many pistols are pollinated? And i wonder what caused it to herm?

Stress, changes in light schedules, and some strains are prone to hermies,

And pistils turn dark and retract when they've been pollinated, so that will let you know which ones have been hit.

so if pistols are turning a sark brown and kinda shrivelled up almost look singed that would be a pollinated bud? This plant was one that had a rough go in veg as well

Any ripe pistil that gets hit with pollen should turn brown and shrivel with a day or so.

Well shit i guess i will be getting lots of seeds. Off all three plants. And i found the cause of the hermi tonight. The one vent got loosened off and well needless to say wasn’t a small light leak i was pretty pissed when i seen that

I meant when you grow the seeds out. If they hermied because of stress they should be okay if you don't stress them. Some strains are prone hermie in the best circumstances.

Ya I understood what you meant, in my many reads was just lots of people say that a hermi seed will be almost guaranteed to be a hermi female. The one that i had putting out male flowers has quit so not to sure what that means either.
Hope you guys can help with a friends plant i think its a phosphorus deficiency but i am not sure.

I'm not thinking phosphorus because that starts with blue-green leaves and red leaf stems. Might be looking at potassium def, but that usually starts at the edges rather than the veins. Could also be the start of calcium def. How far down the diagnostic road do you want to go?
