Nulife's - Aurora Indica - Top-Fed DWC - Grow Journal - 2016

Yea PTS, I think because the roots doubled in the water, the plants above the water definitely has exploded. The Flowering stretch should be interesting. lol

Wow, looking at the pics from a week before, the have exploded.

10/12/16 Week 5 Flowering Day 2 - They already needed a gallon of ph water yesterday. I defoliated a bit, I removed the 2 bottom nodes of each branch.

10/15/16 Week 6 Flowering Day 5 - I changed the tank today. I did Week5 of the nutes schedule. I have added another 300w light into the tent, so now they have two 300w LED lights in the tent for the flowering period. The lights are 26" above the plants. I did a little supercropping as well to keep the canopy even.

10/26/16 Week 7 Flowering Day 16 - So they seem to be drinking a lot. They already needed 2 gals replaced. I replaced 1 gal of ph water and 1 gal of nutes water today. I did Week6 of the nutes schedule. I also did an aggressive defoliating. I removed all the large fan leaves.

10/29/16 Week 8 Flowering Day 19 - I changed the tank today. I did Week7 of the nutes schedule.

11/5/16 Week 9 Flowering Day 26 - I changed the tank today. I did Week8 of the nutes schedule. She's drinking a lot. I refilled her tank this past week with 3 gals of nutes water and last night I gave her just 1 gal of ph only water . She looks very healthy. I defoliated her a bit, removing about 42 leaves each plant, just enough so the fans and light can penetrate through.

Here's some pics are their progress in the last week.

11/12/16 Week 10 Flowering Day 33 - I changed the tank today and did Week9 of the nutes schedule. I decided to do an extreme defoliation so that light gets all the way down to the bottom to fatten the bottom buds. I added a 600w LED in the tent and removed just one of the 300w LED lights in the tent. She's drinking a lot. I replaced 3 gals of nute water this week, and one gal of ph only water.

Hello Nu Nu! I thought Id come check your thread out and I am impressed! Smart lady!! I gave you my two cents on curing and theres a few who know on my thread. Major Pita is who I go to first but theres many others. Go ask on my thread.
Im 50ish too. 51 and full of fun. I was just telling myself Im going to quit counting and when asked just say over 50.
Nice to meet you Nu Nu and keep up the good work!!

11/17/16 - Noticed that one of the ice packs was leaking in the freezer that I use in the tank, so wasn't sure if it leaked in the tank at all, so I didn't want to take any chances, so I immediately drained out the tank and changed it with a completely fresh tank. I continued with Week9 of the nutes schedule.

I also decided to remove the 600w LED and put back the 300w. So the tent is back to having 2 - 300w LEDs, I think that's more than enough. I felt like the 600w was stressing them a bit, and didn't want to take any chances this late in the grow.

11/21/16 Week 11 Flowering Day 42 - I changed the tank yesterday. I decided to continue doing Week9 of the nutes schedule. She's seems to be recovering from the defoliating I did, I think removing the 600w helped a bit too.

I now I have a foodsaver, so I was able to vacuum seal all my ice packs so I don't have to worry about them mistaking leaking in my tank again. Though I don't think they leaked in the tank, I haven't found any signs of leakage in the tank, though still happy to have changed the tank immediately to be safe.

Great set up Nulife!! Your plants are wonderful, healthy. Im a greenhorn and still use dirt in pots and Fox Farm. It works for me. One day I will have the indoor skills. So far my tents looking at $1500. cost to produce 8oz of bud, NO GOOD! Im thinking 16 plants scrogged and topped twice for my next run in my 5x9 tent.
Happy Holidays Nulife!!

:welcome: 4Dutches, that sounds like a lot of plants and work. I just got down doing six plants, and that was wayyy too much work. lol My next grow will be with the Autopots system and with Sohum soil so I can start traveling again, so I dont' have to be a slave to my plants anymore. I also have a bad back, so the constant watering with the coco/perlite mix was a pain to say the least This DWC bubbleponics system seems to be way better in regards to not need to water daily, thank goodness. Now it's only about 15-20mins a week of maintenance which is for changing the tank. The plants definitely seem to be alot more smelly, and a lot more resin on them. But with the Autopots and the Sohum LOS, I won't have to do anything but fill the reservoir every week or so. No mixing nutes, ph'ing water etc. So we'll see.

11/28/16 Week 12 Flowering Day 49 - I changed the tank today. I did Week9 again of the nutes schedule. Most of her leaves have grown back, so I'll probably defoliate tomorrow, so light can reach the bottom buds. I have added some CFLs for some bottom lighting as well. She smells crazy strong, very very lemony with some pine, very sweet.

Actually the 8 plants are perfect in there. The place with the good clones you have to buy 18 to assure what you want (Dark Heart clones). Im not sure whats next. i did something wrong to my laundry grow so probably wont pull clones from them and their getting big and look terrible. It happend after I sledge hammerd flushed and fed. (first 2 pics) I really try to mix correctly but might be the cause. I dont know if you seen my yard grow or my tent pics and could post cause I like showing off. Ive got many threads to surf.
Have a great day!
