Shrubhub's Bag Seed Grow - CFL DIY

Ok so its just over ten weeks for the largest plant and just over 8 weeks for the other two. Added another 42watt 2700k bulb to give some more flower spectrum, going to switch to the 125watt 2700k once all of them are sexed the big second round plant still hasnt shown its sex yet. Im keeping the male topped plant alive in another separate room until one of the polled sacs open so I can bag up the pollen and try to seed one of these guys later.

yeah that hood is actually for an HPS bulb but I just wired the normal cfl plug and socket to it. very low profile. Hopefully my seeds get delivered tomorrow, just realized though if I want to grow the bagseeds autos with the 2700k bulb I shouldn't really start the new normal photo plants under the flowering light.

Ok, so seeds arrived today. I would really like to throw one down but I have these autos running now. as it is I have 84 watts of 2700k going and 125 watts of 6500k going. judging by the size of these guys im thinking that I will have to switch the 125w to a 2700k bulb once the larger plant shows its sex. So its looking like I wont be able to start these new seeds until the others are finished. would vegging a plant starting with 2700k instead of 6500k make it stretch a lot? what are the disadvantages of doing this? any input on the matter let me know.

the last plant still has not shown sex but im going to switch to 2400k flower lighting on the 125w bulb anyway. the top cola on the furthest along flowering plant isnt getting enough light and lots of veg growth is coming out of it instead of the bud getting larger. I think this is because of the the incorrect spectrum. so Im hoping with the light change the plants that have shown sex will bud more and the other will show sex faster.

very nice! where'd you get that cfl unit from? was it damaged at all?

I got it from a local store and I opened all the boxes in the store and every one was dented. He gave me 15% on top of the 10% veterans discount I get. I like buying local in cash.Haven't ordered anything online accept for seeds.

Hey Shrubhub, I use Superthrive on every thing I grow. It takes so little and our Walmart even carries it. the lable says a drop a gal but I add about 4. I put about four capfulls in my transplanter on all vegetables and they experience absolutely no transplant shock. Looks like they are perking up nicely now!
