Just used a sheet of stainless steel mesh, which was cut into appropriate sizes to make two cylindrical tubes - one with a diameter of 25cm and another 22.5cm. In that 2.5cm gap went in the activated carbon (about 9kg). And sealed on either side with plywood.I was planning on making one myself .could u Send me what u used and I'll try it out I'd rather save money I haven't got lol.

Bare in mind I have two exhausts each with an industrial cooling fan, like a super charged computer fan (used in stainless steel cutting lazer machines) but no where near as strong as an inline fan. Thus each exhaust has ducting leading into either side of the carbon filter (the other side also has a hole for ducting) and yeah that's about it.
