Wish I had a clone of that strain lol. I'm trying to get my mom to use CBD for her migraines instead of Rx meds but she's scared of the 1:1 in most strains

I have been cloning out an ACDc that is a long line clone. It tested 1 part thc to every 25 cbd and it turned amber pistils and hairs but i harvested early and didnt check the tric's. I was told by a friend who gifted it to me that you can actually make tea from any part of the plant at any time flower or veg to get the effects of the cbd's.
I havent really tested it but people who have sampled my run say it's very relaxing.Not heady what so ever.

The reason the higher cbd strains are usually 1/1 is they are very unique. I forget the term but to expalin it.... ACDC can give you random results. meaning you need to grow a butt load of them. Take all of them to be tested . ... and then pick the one that gave the good results and keep it cloned forever. If you where to pop seeds from it and try that method you get the variable again and need to test and etc again. That is why the clones of it cost $500-$2k. Not that i would sell them or anything... My strain actually was made famous from a epilepsy case that helped our state legalize for medical. It came from Colorado and my clone was off the Mom. CBD's help my soreness etc but the THC's help me with nerves and sleep. Everyone responds different but CBD's for me help pain. Some people want it for anxiety but that is more for the THC to me...

I should have rambled more I guess...
My white widow strain is actually a 2/1 THC/CBD and I find I still get pretty high but definitely muscle relaxation as well. But I have a very hard time smoking my self silly with it. If I go heavy THC with no CBD's I may forget to finish the bowl... lol
My opinion for your Mom... use the 1 to 1 and have her take like 2 hits thats it.... Tomorrow maybe the same and after a few days have her take 3 or 4.. She may not even notice the 2 hit days but eventually she will find a point she just barely feels it.. Stop there and stay there every day for a while so she can feel how it affects her... A good blend of THC and CBD usually is a benefit for either case pain or anxiety. But just like when a doctor prescribes meds they don't give you 6000 mg to start with. So people that fear the THC stuff I find it is because they usually smoked with an experienced smoker who smoked a whole joint with them or something... Too much... If she gets THC induced anxiety look up pepper/cannibus/anxiety and for alot that works...

As always looking good Snidrajsed. Love to check in on your perpetual Ness. You are my steady stream of input output. I'm happy to have been following your journal. Where other journals have ended yours continued to guide and inspire me long after most of my regular seeds turned male. I know you're pretty busy, same here. Yet wanted to ask you.. what do you think is causing my high male ratio in my growtent? ( I think I might have chopped a female out of unknowingNess )

Thanks for all of the info, Far East! I really appreciate you taking the time to teach my about this stuff (including info not included in quotes). I actually got her a Harlequin 1:1 Tincture from the dispensary I'm a member at but she hasn't wanted to try even the slightest amount. Not really sure why either she just shrugs it off and I try not to push it too much.

I will be there to share some fun, sounds like another great venue to show some of the exploits from our gardens. I'm hoping to make another run of bubble hash with all the trim I just got. The sour Bubbling crack is a limited edition mephisto genetics strain. Let see if I can find a

The appearance of males may be attributed to stressful environmental conditions. If they're struggling to survive then the likelihood of being male is increased (from what I've read)

The lab is definitely not as organized as it looks. Lol but I feel like I am when it comes to records... My notes are meticulous and it helps me analyze trends and behaviours from the various plants. Also give analytical updates showing the trends in soil and plant behaviour. I appreciate the kind words CosmicDave,

Well let's start with the exciting news first. I chopped and trimmed Ellabella and Chanel all day yesterday. I left Mandy as a whole plant. She's going to hash so I'm not going to trim.
First up, Ellabella.

Ellabella weighed in at around 250g and Chanel came in at around d 180g. Lots of sticky trim and then I've got Mandy to add to that for my camping trip hash ball. Another successful harvest, I had to create more hanging space in my cabinet, I've got Winnie, Ellabella and Chanel in there at the moment drying at temps of 68°f and Rh hovering between 65>55% going to be a slow dry. Winnie is still not ready for cure.
Onto the update, it's been unusually hot in my auto tent. It hit 93°f, I'm thinking I need to add my larger cfm fan to the system. I turned off the bloom lights on the Gs600, and the temps have dropped to acceptable levels, I also opened up the top vent to allow hot air out(this is getting passed over an ona gel type thingy laced with activated carbon), even though I've only got one flowering plant. The photo tent is fine with just the one light, these two Twilight-Group LED's are running with lots of exhaust heat.

Jawsephine & Madeleine nute mix = Ph 6.0 @ 74°f w/ 1.8 EC or 1230ppm

I made a couple grow stops on the way home today. I uncannily needed another bale of promix...
, found some bat guano at the same time at the feed and Seed. But that's not even the interesting stop, I was made aware of a local hydro shop. Went to check it out, very cool! 
I've been wanting some more nutes, tarantula and piranha in particular for some time now.shipping costs are what was keeping me from getting them. But now that I've found a local source... Haha. Expand that root mass!! I also picked up some nirvana and carboload.
That makes my advanced nutrients regiment complete, if I don't have it in the AN line I've got something exactly like it to take its place. Plus some Amsterdam nutes, and all my Ph / EC meter calibration stuff.
I'm need to hook up my bigger fan, would I be better served bringing in more fresh air or use the extra power for exhausting hot air. Temps rose to 90° again, it's the the two big led panels. I'm going to need to zone this in for this next run. I cleared Winnie out of the dryer box...
Total dried stem free weigh in for Winnie : 29g :sadface:
I guess she got more affected by my sickness then I thought. Very disappointing, but it's a harvest and it's nugs in the jars. Booyah! So I packed Ellabella and Chanel into the dryer box, they've got alot more heft to them.

Notes ~ the 3 GWSs are making headway towards the t5's. I've been rotating the pots every day and the stem just keeps twisting around. SBC is very tight noded, it's pretty much in full flower. Madeleine is transitioning nicely into flower, she is making pistils like crazy. Jawsephine has stopped her stretch and is now packing on pistols too. It's amazing she doesn't need a feeding today. Lucy is rounding the final turn, flush is imminent now. She's got 10-15 % Amber Trichomes around her mids.

The upottted plants got a presoak with piranha, voodoo and tarantula in the cavity. Then a mix of g, m, b and b52 to pour and meld the "soils" together.
Notes ~ Explosia was up canned to Ellabella's old digs, lol, It's make her look so much smaller. The clones aswell, now I'm better able to train them. They look alot more organized in their new pots. Cleopatra has inch long growth tips where I topped her around the perimeter. I need to flower her now! Can I put her in a closet for 12-13h, I need to have the others ready before flipping the whole tent. Renee is slowly getting to the finish, she is stalling my reconfiguration process... I'd like to put her in a closet aswell.

Looks good! Nice Harvest! You seem to be harvesting like once a week, lucky dog, I wanted to try that but being new I just thought one grow at a time for now would be best.
We are trying to get it so we harvest every 2 weeks. I think we'll get there eventually. Lol
