The pink cage in there (daughters old fish tank) has ladybugs in it I caught this summer. Give them a little honey and water on a sponge. Have had them for months and only lost 1. Second line of defense if need be I'll release them. Have seen them breeding so hoping to have little ones eventually, gonna build a army to protect my grow.

The clones I get from the clinic are already infested w/ knats & or fruit flies usually. I can't eliminate them all ; however , I can control the little suckers. I'm currently using The Jar method , sticky yellow traps , & Oraganocide.

This $10 bottle works like Magic. No burn all organic.

Yea just precautionary it is Apple cider vinegar haven't seen any gnats and none in the trap, but I read they like coco so I figured it can't hurt to be pro active. The best defence is a good offense type deal. And I had fruit flys in my kitchen at the beginning of fall cause I have a couple Apple trees outside and was concerned they would migrate to my grow. The weather is to cold for them now and took care of them in my kitchen just left the trap in there anyway.

the fruit flies here in socal are horrible, I had them in my new apartment so badly that I had to leave for a few days.
They still poke about in VERY small numbers, but I've never seen one even close to my coco/grow tent.

Is that year round? Never gets cold enough there for them to go dormant?

the average temp in my apartment is 74F year round. they are satan. The average temp outside (this time of year) is about the same.

Update day 37 I think, probably doing the final transplants tomorrow. I will also be moving the runt up in pot size aswell. It's new growth is looking great needs more wiggle room. The one in ffof I topped last Sunday in 3 spots and I think it was starting to have boron deficiency right after. I believe they were unrelated and the soil ran out of kick. Flushed it feed it a couple days later and noticed growth start again few days ago and brown at the new growth recovering. Still putting out 3 sets of leaves on that one node. The one in coco only got topped once as the nodes below didn't have enough growth yet. Flushed it tonight before transplant just incase. If there is build up don't want it going to the next layer of new coco.

As with all new strains I'm sure there are multiple different phenos that have different characteristics. There not fem seeds male sour d and female snow monster I could be growing 2 males for all I know. I hope that is not the case though. Started germing 4 more seeds though the other night.

Exciting news tonight. I checked my clones tonight ffof plant has put a root out of the rockwool. Almost did the coco style but wanted to go with my guaranteed way since I have only tried the coco thing a couple times. However I removed the lowest 2 nodes and put them into coco tonight and started the lst. Teaser for tomorrow's update. Exciting thing is that was 8 days has to be my fastest one yet.

(bud porn) The girl from couple weeks ago still losing a leaf here and there but she has plenty to spare. She is looking super otherwise so I'm not to concerned.

Day 40. First up ffof took transplant well and back in action set for 6 tops at the moment might go for more don't know yet.

Secondly coco. We had a incident the other day that delayed the transplant till tonight. Started having mag deficiency actually caught it before you could see it. Was looking under the skirt and could tell some spots on the leaves weren't as transparent as the rest off the leaf. Checked my run off ph and bam wtf 5.0. Flushed with 6.0 till runoff was 5.9. Back to feeding the next day and all is looking good and stoped spreading. I will be less lax about my run off ph from here on out. Might do more topping after a couple days of rooting its new home.

The runt is coming around and I am aiming for transplant tomorrow. Weekdays I only get about an hour or so after getting kids to bed to do as much as I can.

Lastly ffof clone in a 40oz hempy cup gonna veg for a few days then off to flower room for sexing.
