The Lonely Mountain Seeking Great Heights - Indoor Organic Grow - G2HM

Drove into town to get weekly supplies and I saw this. Thinking of you:) I stopped to take a pic of a 40 acre hay field burn. I'll get a shot for you in a month so you can see the difference ashes make. Now he doesn't need chemicals to fertilize his field.:cheesygrinsmiley:

Okay that is super cool. I gotta admit this science experiment is going to yield results. Thanks for the visual my friend!-.

I'm baaack grow family, so sorry I was gone for so long. I really missed the campanionship. But as I always promise my husband, I may be down for 4 days with a migraine but when I bounce back I promise to be better than ever.

I'm going to split this update in two, just because there is so much to cover that I don't want one long a*s entry that never ends kinda thing.
Coming up soon tonight...really it's THAT worth it. ;)

[What’s Update – 100% Organic Garden & Brain Rehab – Monday Feb 27, 2017
PART ONE

:welcome: Welcome to the strains for your brains journal!

Brain/Grow Rehabilitation Behaviour:

I have to admit I had a ton of fun in CBT Synapsis @ Play class and the Occupational Therapist (OT) is just too funny. She actually has the worse memory in the class and I keep reminding her of things. It makes me realize that no one is perfect, especially me.

I think what’s happening is that my memory is seeking to participate in this class. I credit this OT class for breaking my social phobia because the outside world can be so cruel sometimes. However, my garden gives me unconditional acceptance, that’s all I care about really. I’m grateful for such a class that would challenge me on multiple levels.

I have a medical team comprised of 3 specialists who make me feel like I can do anything. Just like I have 3 areas for gardening. Now that I have a steady rotation on veg and flower areas, I am building up a sweat every day.

It’s gotten to the point that I am on autopilot when it comes to my plants. I’m building up to a potential harvest that could change my life potential. I just feel like something amazing is going to come out of this. I’m trusting the process.

This week was all about experiments!!! I stretched my CBD to the max, reproduced the self-watering method, and successfully transplanted all 6 clones.

What am I grateful for?- “The best week I’ve had since Sept 2015.

Quote of the week:- “Who I am has not changed, it’s how I am that has changed.”

My humble garden of positive change awaits you…

1. Type:-CB Dream (born Oct 2, 2016)

Week:29

Days:161

Temp:24-26 Degrees Celsius

Hum:25 - 34%

Technique:Topped 3x & LST

Comments: This CB Dream Queen of a plant has exceeded any expectations I had. WOW! She has changed dramatically in 2 weeks, it’s unbelievable. I have never experienced a successful transplant let alone a flowering monster.

In the beginning I promised to push her limits as far as she could go. She is taking up the entire space in the closet, almost. She is a whoppin’ 31 inches long and 27 inches wide.

Now mind you I did refasten the white laces to pull her down a bit in order to avoid defoliation. Her outside limbs are symmetrical but her inside stalks still have about an inch to catch up. Although I can see that happening, they stalk thickness is nothing compared to the primary limbs.

*Clones – You guys know how much I looove the self-watering method. I had the idea of reproducing my old self-watering pots into SQUARE 2/3 gallon containers to max my space in the diy germ/veg unit. I am happy to share that my clones are now in their own “self-watering” container and thriving.

I actually bought storage solution containers with lids and soldered holes and appropriate slits into the bottom of the container to insert microfibre fabric strips that I use for maximum absorbancy and mold free. Then I place the lid under the container, upside down, where I can pour water and have it absorbed by the strip and up to the roots near the bottom of the container.

The concept is to avoid bugs, avoid over-watering, avoid bad habits and so on. Feeding plants from the bottom allows the plant to be the leader and direct me when the lid under the container is empty, then I just carefully keep refilling as I watch the clones succeed.

I have attached some more pics of my experiments for your reference…and my memory. After a week of holding my breath, I’m happy to report that my CBD clones are enjoying their new self-watering digs.

In fact, they are demanding feedings like the Medicinal Diva’s that they are! Now if I can keep my little lady fingers off them, I will bypass my fear of brain-sabotage.

PART TWO COMING TOMORROW!
Life is what you make of it and who you grow it with… ;)
I am going to check out your journals so I can get caught up. I wouldn't miss it for the world. :thanks:

Nice self-watering for your clones!

And CB Dream is exactly that, a dream made real. +reps

side note: humidity is low. big plants have harder time getting water to top of canopy after they stretch. Try to get it up to 40% to keep those leaves beautiful and pumping up your buds.

Glad to hear you had an awesome week. And glad you're back! :high-five:

That CB Dream is looking incredible girl! I might have to steal your self watering idea. Pretty ingenious. Glad your back and meditating
