TimHomeGrow Fastbuds Bluedreamatic Auto In Soil

Day 47

I was gone for three days so the girls went about a 1/2 day longer than they should have for another water/feeding. I upped MC to 5.5g, added 3.5ml CalMag, and did not add the Bud Explosion like I did with the last two feedings because of my leaves. They got very bright/light and I'm not entirely sure why. Too long without nutes/water? Tent temp of 80-81? I did post a few days ago before leaving for my trip that perhaps I had some calcium deficiency starting show. Wish I added the CalMag at that time.

Good news is I'm not seeing anymore big damage but that may be because some older lower fans of that plant have died :(.

Interesting side note ...the plant that was trimmed/trained with only nodes 3,4,5 seems to have the best bud growth this far and most dying leaves. The plant trained with nodes 2,3,4,5 has the second best bud development. The third which was untouched since birth has the smallest bud development so far

Difference in shading/color....what's the deal and how do I stop and or reverse this?

Outside the tent picture, they don't look as bright but still too light in color right?

A few more waterings at 5.5 might do it. Leaves act funny after being sprayed so you’ll lose some it’s not a big deal usually. I added cal mag a few times as well and I’m not actually sure I needed it with the MC.

Thank you both for the quick replies. I upped MC to 5.5 and will continue that level for this week and maybe up to 6g MC next week.

Do you think I should add in the Bud Explosion again or hold off on that? I don't want that screwing things up but wanted to try it.

Day 49

The leaves seem to be getting a tad darker. I upped MC to 6gr.

Danielle, who had the pest issue and also the most trimming in veg (cut everything but nodes 3, 4, and 5 has a lot of yellow and dead fan leaves. A couple fell off during watering. She also has the biggest buds. Not sure what's going on. Should I cut off those fans or just wait until they fall?

Amy....she is looking the best. Left nodes 2, 3,4,5 on when training.

Katie, who let go all natural is doing well but definitely is the furthest behind in bud development. Didn't get a pic of her outside the tent so a group photo ;). I did rearrange their positions in the tent ....perhaps danielle is just in a bad spot and that's causing her leaf issue?

The tent got an upgrade! No more 4" exhaust fan, went up to a 6" AC Infinity and said f@ck it and went with the fancy programmable one. I believe @13goody13 has one (or similar).

Between the bigger fan and bigger filter, the basement doesn't smell of pot and the tent temp is better as well and so far staying below 80 :)

I did have to hang the fan motor in the tent as the filter was much larger. Hope it doesnt heat it up but I think this set up will work

Girls are getting a little frosty ;)

Leaves are still light green and they got two feedings of MC at 6gr/gal. I'm thinking they may not darken at this point. This strain yellowed on last grow and looking online at other journals of this strain, they do seem to yellow so maybe this is normal for this strain at this stage?

My Lux meter reads around 54k-58k on each node. Light is 12" above canopy. If I lower it the nodes directly under will go above 60k, but the outer ones drop to 38-42k so I think I'll leave the lights how they are. Home stretch here we come!!

Either way....it is what it is ha.

I think the top leaves look a little darker, but more lower fan leaves have yellowed and died. They had two feedings at 6g/gal of MC and getting another feeding today. Haven't given Bud Explosion since this issue started, plants only got that twice a few waterings ago.

@Emilya am I on the right track or is something else going on? Should I go to 6.25 or 6.5 grams of MC?

I went with 6.35g haha. It seems any system I try some MC gets stuck on something so I'm wondering if not the full amount makes into my gallon jugs. My process is putting a plastic spoon my my scale, zeroing it, then use another spoon to put the amount on. I use a small funnel to get it into the jugs and of course some MC sticks to the spoon and the funnel.

But wow, the ladies are smelling really good!!!! I think it's still too soon to backbuild the buds, perhaps another week??? Then a few buds will get the snip off the top ;).

I did remove the restraints, figured I don't need them anymore and it gets in the way of watering.

Fungus gnats are still around but not in big numbers. Little bastards are going to make me try Pro Mix next time ha.

Some beautiful ladies porn ;)

Used my Magical Butter machine today to make 2 cups of oil.

This is what's left after making 15 gummies that are in the freezer. Excited to try @13goody13 recipe ;)

I did cut all ingredients in half because I thought it would make more gummies than I have molds for.....next time full recipe.

Nice!
And remember to wear a glove or something while it’s hot.
The most important part is getting it ready (and all into the dispensing bottle/device) before it starts setting up. After that it’s easy! I have some overflow molds for chocolates so I end up with a few massive gummy cups :laughtwo:

It was super easy! I did spill a bit from the bottle, seemed to want to shoot out for that first gummy. But no worries, I ate the spill ha.

Hi, Tim!
There's an easier way to do that...
Just use a little pill bottle- measure out your quantity of MC, plus any additives, then add a little water, put the cap on and shake the crap out of it (easier to shake a pill bottle than a gallon jug)- when it's all dissolved, dump it into your watering jug, give it a shake, and you're good to go...

Awesome thanks for the tip!!!

I'm up to 6.35g/gal and my leaves are still light green. I may go up to 6.5 but not sure I want to go higher. Thoughts?

Buds are nice ;)

nice indeed and with those smelly blues too. Good call. the motors run quite cool thankfully so shouldnt add anything with all that air moving too.
can't beat these girls for their want to grow big. Great strain.
with the yellowing leaves below , while the plant is cannibalising them , she is leaving others alone. dont worry at all as long as they don't start rotting from moisture.

Tent temp is 77...fan was a great addition. It does seem like this strain likes to yellow. Second time growing this strain
