Toast's 2016 Indoor/Outdoor Grow Journal

Thanks Con, I wasn't paying attention. So Trump's the man, huh. It really doesn't make any difference. Cause what ever he tries to do the Congress wont let him. That's why were stuck in Limbo most of the time. On to the FINAL DISTRUCTION of PLANT #2 The main Cola and one other were so big I had to cut them in half:

Mr. Toast:

I read your entire journal with interest. Nice work my friend. It's nice to have way more bud than you could ever smoke and only the most ambitious growers experience that luxury. You certainly have energy to burn, too. Props, man.

I rarely consider anything I do for my grow to be "work" in the classic sense, but we know it takes a lot to succeed. As I read your story I kept thinking it is remarkable that one man could do so much, all the cloning, the daily manual movement of plants, all the hand-watering and fertilizing, plus battling insect foes and the raging elements like Noah. You must really enjoy it bro. I see why you would and your results look delicious.

I don't have the luxury of an outdoor growing option but watching how labor intensive it is makes me a bit doubtful I would use it...I visit my grow lab every 3 days for about 10 minutes and wallop a kilo of finished prime nug every 4 months with 1000 watts. I actually feel guilty with no bugs, fungus, watering or transplanting after reading your journal, WOW, it was like man against nature, I'm spent. I have become so lazy with everything automated I don't know if I can even get out of this comfy chair...

So again, nice work and congrats on sweet success. Humbly but sincerely, I invite you to check out my simple but effective hydro system journal sometime. The latest one is starting to get pretty frosty so if you like bud porn as much as me (I'm addicted) the next 6 weeks won't disappoint. And if you ever want to try this approach in any form I will be glad to help.

Peace, Hyena

Hyena, again thanks for the Prop's. This grow went pretty damn smooth this time, but I attribute that to the fact that I didn't try to grow 200-300 plants this time. When you have taken care of 300 in the past 100 is a piece of cake. LOL Back in 2001, I came up with this 60-60-60-60 thing, where I had 60 Flowering, 60 Mature vegging, 60 Juvenile's, and 60 Clones, then I would just swap them out as needed. This was the best and worked awesome until 2008, when my whole outside crop got RIPPED OFF and I had to replace the out door crop with the 60 that were designated for my indoor grow room, and I have never been able to get that to work again. So now I just do the best I can under the circumstances. The battling Mother Nature can get pretty frustrating, (To say the least) you just cant let it get the best of you. Every year I say I'm not going to do this again, but here I am. LOL I'm just a glutton for punishment. The real satisfaction is when I get to just give it away to people that are medically in need and cant afford to be running to the club every day. My Cannabis is better any way. It's 100% organic and each strain smells and tastes different. The stuff the clubs are turning out, looks smells, and tastes all the same. Mix them up and you cant tell the difference, they all just have names that are progressively get stupider and stupider. There was this one Collective in LA that was bragging about crossing O.G. Kush and M.K. Ultra and they call it Yoda, like they were the first to cross those two strains. I crossed those two back in 2000 and called it what it should be called ULTRA O.G. but then I'm not in it for Glory, I just want to grow shit that smells and tastes like Marijuana and is effective on different ailments. Well I got to go put in my time clipping and grooming for the day or it will never get done. Thanks again for checking me out and the Prop's and I will head over and check you out soon and let you know what I think. C-U-Later my new friend. TOAST

Always good to read a journal from a man who loves gardening. Really love your journal and the relaxed zen way you speak. :bravo:
Congratulations on your new title too :):thumb:

Thanks Keltic you have a great day also. AND NOW THE FINAL HILL UPDATE: I took down all the PK, so the only thing left is the 4 EF clones.

So every thing besides what you just saw is either in Jars, Bags or Hanging, and I have about 4 lbs Hanging across the street in one of Kary's Out Buildings. It looks like I've been Busting My Ass getting this shit done. "There ain't no rest, for the Wicked" Let me just say, " I'm Pretty F/N Happy " TOAST

Yes! Congratulations on such a good year, glad to hear everything worked out so good. Loved the purple hues on all the plants, the PK plot really ripened nicely, and Planter #2 came in more beautiful than I expected. Loved the pic of that pile of purplish buds

Great job with that :bravo: :adore: Enjoy the fruits of your amazing labor, brother. :circle-of-love: :cheer:

Radogast, you haven't seen my mom out and about cause earlier in the year she fell and is just now starting to Zip around in her Walker. Yeah sense the beginning of March, I have been having to take her food, help her to the bathroom, wash her hair, and a bunch of stuff. Then last week she all of a sudden snapped out of it and started doing every thing for her self again. I bought her a new walker with four wheels and a seat. She doesn't have to lift this one up to move it. So it makes her real steady and now she just Zips every where. LOL She's a trip. Thanks for the Props Lester. Morglie, El Fuego ( The Fire ) is a special blend of the most resinous strains available in the late 90's. The mother was White Widow, and they won't say what the other strains they used were. That's all I know, except the guy I got the seeds from says it's the BEST POT I EVER SMOKED that's why he saved the seeds for 20 years. Alright Alright Alright ! So far and there's still some hanging I got 2 bags at 2 1/2 lbs each of the PURE KUSH

Not bad considering the buds didn't get any where near as big as they have in past years. I been growing it for the past 5 years and this is the first year it didn't come out like every other year. Here's the PK the first year 2011

and here's this time

see it doesn't even look like the same pot. It's been just like the 2011 pictures every year until this one. I figure the Plot needs to get all new dirt if I do this again. That's all for today. Later TOAST

That's quite a dramatic difference. So much to learn. I swear TOAST, it sometimes feels like I'll never catch up.

What amazing strength you have :bravo:Taking care of your mother and doing such hard labor to create your beautiful garden.
Enjoy the fruits of your labor and I am going to sit up there on a branch, dreaming on my garden, wishing it was outside.. A jungle bird :)

Thanks for the info about el fuego. I'm really going to have to give white widow a shot. I don't think I've heard a single person talk about it that didn't like it.

Twenty years from now you might be shipping around yourself with one of those walkers. Probably using the seat to move plants around..... I can't see myself quitting growing now that I've got the bug. It's infectious.

That was one of the best journals I have ever read. Thanks for sharing, and Journal of the Month is well deserved! I guess Im going to have to go back and read your past journals next :)

:peacetwo:

Yes...definitely read last year. What a hoot!

Great job again Toast. You amaze me with that hill and those planters. El Fuego sounds truly like Fire. :bongrip:
