Autoflowers' New Setup - 2nd Grow!

UPDATE

cream mandarin

thought I'd turn my LED off so you can see the plants properly & so glad I did, as I hadn't done this yet, & the cream mand has colouration change already, as you'll be able to see buds are starting to get a purple edging, so looks like I won't have to be leaving her in there long after she's finished to get the colour unlike my last plant! THC is also starting to build up nice already! had to remove quite a few bottom leaves mainly fan leaves as they were real yellow & starting to die off, I have tried giving calcium through a bit of egg water & I have also fed with fish waste water which is high in nitrogen but still continues with the yellow leaves, but to be honest I'm not too worried buds are still doing very nice & plant is short with too many leaves anyways so better for some to come off to let more light through the plant.

sweet afghani delicious

have tucked some leaves, light doesn't get through the plant very well where she is soo short & got so many leaves just on top of eachother, hoping she will stretch out a lot more I have raised my LED again now too as all my plants seem to be sticking to the short side.

sweet special

seems to be stretching out nicer than the other plants, not so many leaves as well getting in the way, still early days for the buds, still going to be a short plant though I should have put my LED at the top of the tent from beggining, think I'll raise the CFL again too as that's still on the lower side for baby.

h littlemiss i see your using square pots how are they to use? as i have just started using some. i was using 10 litre air pots for a few ladies and i can conclude for some strange reason autos dont like them it made my plants really small and not produce much.

well there no different really. I will always use them & prefer them as I can fit pots neatly in side by side, I can fit more plants in my tent I dlfind the normal circle pots waste & take up so much more room, all my plants last grow seemed to have taken tlto the pot nicely but that's just the size I'm guessing rather than shape. ahh funny you say that! my partners brother uses air pots his plants have all been rediculously small, got like no harvest off the plants all of them have just done really bad, guessing down to airport he was thinking I thought must have been more light but now you say that clearly airport does make a big difference but then he has same issues really with photo's? Scottish new photo the sweet cheese in air pot is still on the shorter side to be honest as well, hasn't had much of a veg tho so don't know hard to tell but I reckon you will do a lot lot better with these pots!

thanks for the reply. the only reason i can think of is the the air pots kill the end off the root to grow more roots and with auto having hardly any veg time the constant killing of roots just stresses here to much as she don't have enough time to recover, she's already working overtime above dirt trying to get into flower. just what i think.

no I totally agree!!!! Obviously auto's like it all simple & to be able to do what they got to do with no interference, & I reckon your 100% right with your theory!
