Feels good to hear that. I think as soon as work out the hiccups with this dwc bubbler bucket I will stop stressing about them.
QUESTION? Is it normal for a 2 week old clone to be showing pre flowers already, because Betty the NL#5 isn't showing any previous flowers yet but she is 2 weeks older than the J1's that are showing pre flowers.....any help would be great.

She may have been just starting to preflower before she was cut. All depends on how far along the plant it was snipped from was buddy guy.

Makes sense. I notice that the little hairs have turn red. Well from what I've read that good. If you start a cutting from a plant going into flower, when you revert back veg the growth should be amazing. Tons of new shoots.

OK, beginning to think I might have gone a little nuts in the tent.
Started with 1 NL#5 clone in soil. Then I added 2 J1 clones 12 days later. And 6 days after the J1's I find a GG#7 cut...so I got it and put it in a 6.6gal bubbler bucket. Lol so obviously the next step was to sprout 6 seeds knowing that I should have a 1000W hps within the next week. So put 3 seeds into solo cups and put both of the remaining seed sprouts into a diy 3.5 gal bubbler bucket. And all of it in a 5x5x7 tent.
Anyone else think I might have more than I can handle?, oh and did I mention that this is my first real grow.

OPINIONS NEEDED!!
Part 1 of 2 part question: After doing all measurements, it has come to my attention that after I install the new 1000W HPS and adjusting for new lighting distance from plants (1-2 feet, chime in if this is incorrect) I only have 2 feet of growth room left. So I have decided to adjust my 24/0 lighting by 1 hour a day until I get to 12/12 over the next 12 days.?

I have 2 of 4 plants already on the first week of flowering nutes but other 2 are still at end of veg nutes, can I skip last week or so of veg feeding schedule and go right to fist week of flowering nutes? (Nutes are DaKine 420 powdered nutes, 3 part system plus a micronutrient for root mass)
Any thoughts on this would be a great help.

I'm not familiar with hps dynamics, but as long as you have light coverage in the alloted space you may as well have plants in it. For example in my tent I could fit 3 more pants easily, maybe six more for a total of 9. This would maximize my light use (electric bill) and not waste the light on empty space. Imo that is. If you are getting strong luxes at the lights footprint edges Then you know where and how many plants you can place. I like to give 3 sq/f per photoplant and 2 per auto. Hope this tickles your brain and you can figure out your solution... Cheers mate

While I agree with everything you said about the lighting footprint. I actually was referring to the vertical grow space. I have 6'10". Light and hangers 1 foot, distance to plant from light 1-2 feet , pot height 1 foot, plants are a little more than 1 foot tall right now, leaving me only 2-3 feet left. Having never taken a crop into flower before I not sure what to expect in the way of growth. I am running 1 plant that is an Indica dominant strain, but the rest are Sativa dominant Hybrids. So it come down how soon to start adjusting light to get to 12/12.

Oh ok ok.. My bag! Lol. So I guess it's down to training. Super cropping is effective at keeping things the size you want. But if you're in flower already that's too much stress. If you flower them immediately then you'll still get a good 30 % growth stretch in the first week of 12 12. If you can tie them down or try some lst... Main Colas mostly. I'm not sure what else to add. Let's wait for some vets to help you out. You could post the subject in the lighting section too, you'll get even more gurus to see

Got my 1000w ballast today and it switchable some I can run out the rest of my veg with a MH bulb. Setting up as we speak.

Now if I can just dial in the temp. Boy ALOT more heat, admittedly I have no ducts attached to the light to vent directly out the tent (nothing open on way home) so ducting and another intake/exhaust fan and I "should" be good.

I am noticing some yellowing of the lower leaves, I just feed 2 days ago soil is still moist. I have not checked root zone ph yet, but I will and post results and a pic or two to see if anyone can help me figure it out. BTW only occurring in plants in 3gal plastic pot with roots organic soil.

Ok here's the problem. My guesses are
Least likely: nitrogen deficiency
Possible: root bound plants?
Most likely: ph problem at root zone preventing nute uptake

Ok problem was soil ph, so day before yesterday I flushed all 3 and while lights were out I did a foiler feeding and a neem oiling (just preventive). As of today they have all dried out pretty good.
Fed 30% of wk1 flowering nutes and have officially flip them to 12/12

Im so excited to get some fairly healthy plants to flowering stage. Ill keep my head about me AND my fingers crossed. Just squared away the ventilation for my hood. Dialing back in the temp now that I was able to get the light 1'4" away from plant tops and the temp looks like it is VERY SLOWLY climbing passed 76.1f and 49%RH and slowly dropping.

Thanks to everyone that helped me get this up and running with all you great advice.
Now it's time to learn about flowering first hand!!!

On a side note. I am starting up another journal (this one probably won't get updates as often. The object of this journal is to document the veg and cloning of Sue who is my Gorilla Glue #7 (second batch of seeds the from the same hermie crop that gave us Gorilla Glue #4). My next cycle is only going to be one or two plants but much bigger in veg so I can take a bunch of clones. Then I will re-register Sue and flower her while clones root and veg for a SOG but all will be vegged to 2-2.5 feet and then topped to 1.5-2 feet brushed out and flowered as SOG......I theory! Lol
