OldMed Man's Air Pots and a Perpetual Grow

Hi Buddy :)

I'll answer both your questions at once.

3.4 gallon pot is about 10" across.

The really big airpots are outdoor containers. These are for really big plants. They can handle a tree for three years. This is the pot to grow something sativa about 12 feet tall. Shame I'll never use the 2 I have, :smokin:
Hope that helps. OMM :ganjamon:

Awesome! Thanks.

HI All ! :ganjamon:

I've got two of the fans and the cords for the ballast too. Hopefully, the other fans will be here this week.

If you folks will let me, I am going to permanently close this never ending journal and start the next one soon as I can. I think we have said all that can be said here....more than a few times! Many summaries have been done of what went well and what didn't. The best thing to come out of it was my Lucy harvest. She without doubt is the best plant I have ever grown.:Rasta:
Hate to say it, but I have her hidden and will not part with her for anyone.

A big THANKS to all of you for seeing this though with me. Even though it was messed up...all of you have made it very enjoyable for me. Hope you had a bit of fun too!:party:

Great Story willoby! Love those buses to Las Vegas, the trip was an experience in them selves. :Rasta:

Long ago and I mean long ago. 1960 to be exact. I did it a different way. I would call the Reno Chamber of Commerce and ask if they had any specials. They always did. Usually a hotel room for 3 days and nights, some free meals, Free casino chips, All you had to do is get there. Greyhound had continuous bus service to Reno. You could stay as long as you wanted and could catch any of them back. The trip up there was always noisy and happy. Many old folks with their SS checks in hand ready to hit the Jackpot. The trip back was usually very quite. :smokin: Taking things with you was never a problem, no one even looked at you.
I made a big mistake once and took one of my buddies from the Air Force Base we were at. Got to Reno and showed him how to play Keno. First game he won $26,000.00 bucks!! It ruined him. Went to Reno every chance he got and gave it all back and more. :smokin::smokin::smokin:

That sounds great!!! I do believe you see quite a large range of humans on buses coming or going to Reno or Las Vegas....It always seems to be the danger stop for Greyhound...People with a layover waiting for their next bus either win big and miss the bus, than lose it all in a few days, or lose from the start and always have the desire to try and win it back someday which brings them back...Either way, both towns weren't built on winners...It is actually pretty sad to see what gambling does to people and families...Mine being one, my father last his wife(my mother)his friends and family because of it...Some people just don't know when to stop...I had a run with gambling too for about 5 years, lost every paycheck, every week and sold all of my belongings to try to keep up with the losses...I have got away thanks to finding something in life better to live for..My daughter...So it has helped me live in the environment...I do feel for your buddy who won that money, and that amount of money then could really do a lot for you....Gamblers only talk about their winnings...I got a little off subject but like we were all saying, Greyhound is an experience everyone needs to try at some point...It is just like nothing else..It is also crazy that you were able to get on the buses without any form of I.D. for a long time...Imagine all of the people that took a bus trip and never knew they were right next to a convict, drug runner, or whatever it may be...I know for a fact that not everyone had a perfect record who took the Greyhound transit...And I'm pretty sure a lot of people have had long conversations with people who they never even know they were running a few kilos across state lines!!! I love their slogan too...I always seem to sing it in my head...I GO SIMPLE, I GO EASY, I GO GREYHOUND!!! I have been wanting to take a train ride these days, through like Colorado, than up North to Washington, than back down the West Coast... I have seen some pretty cool stories and movies that had great scenery from a train...I will do it with my daughter when I do so she gets to experience it too, she is only 5 now but I will possibly do it in the next few years....DAMN, I got to rambling a bit huh!!! Anyhow, on that note, have you ever taken any train rides or have any or does anyone reading this have any good story or idea on what train route would be a good one to take, starting from the West Coast, like Nevada or California???? If you have managed to read this much of my rambling, I appreciate you interest for one and hope to hear a beautiful train route to take just for a scenic venture...OldMedMan, I really appreciate the story and all of your posts and threads also, you always seem to peak my interests and give me hope on one day being a green-thumb like yourself!!!!:high-five::nicethread::bravo::focus:

OMM, my good friend, it's been a great journal and I'm happy to see it end on a positive note after all the ups and downs. You've been a real source of inspiration as you dealt with some very difficult issues and persevered.:thumb:

Lucy is looking very nice in those jars, congrats on the chop, and the tent is coming together at last. Should be a roomy, well equpped grow space and I'm looking foirward to the wonderful plants you'll bring to us. Here's to a great start in the next chapter of your green adventure.:thumb::goodjob::goodluck:

I'll be watching for that new link, my friend:peacetwo:.

Morning OMM! Have you notified the mods to move this to the completed journals yet?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::laughtwo::laughtwo::laughtwo::rofl::rofl::rofl:

There's a lottery machine at my crappy work location, I'll buy a powerball or whatever when it's like $100M, but I never buy the scratch-offs. But one day I was bored and bought a $5 ticket and damned if I didn't win $50. I never win anything.

Well we all know how this story ends, about $100 later I'm down $50 and buying one of those stupid things every day or two. Luckily I came to my senses before it got worse.

There must be a name for people like me... if it's good for you I'm usually not that interested and if it's bad for you I can't get enough. Oh yeah there is a name... stoner :lot-o-toke:

Not sure what the deal is but I get the email that someone posted something in your journal I click on it and I am 5 pages behind. Great journal, wonderful information and am looking forward to your new indoor adventure. Good luck....Bless
