Yesterday I was impressed by the amount of Stigmas showing on the two still in Veg!

Also their pH has been rising a little high along with ppm's.
So....a res change/cleaning and SNS 209 treatment was conducted.
Did a little rearrange moment in time....

"Morticia" (foreground) and "Cousin It" (left rear of Morticia) morphed into flower phase.

Clones are still alive.
Ones in the petri dish are showing a little bit of root issues. No problems.

:green_heart:
What a nice size space to grow in.

High to all!
Individual photos were taken last night just before lights out.
The last 10 days have been quite testy. As to the Weather has been high 90's with Humidity in the 90's. Pop-up thunderstorm everyday to add to the heat index. Putting it well over a hundred degrees outside.
I've been able to keep my grow room temperature in the low 80's and humidity in the mid 60's without the aid of a dehumidifier. During the worst part of the day.
Increasing the Air Flow was a must causing the girls to really put on a dance show. I noticed a little damage to the lower leaves because of this. Not really an issue though.

@Prescription Blend Nutrients so far have been great!
"Flora" is riding at around 900ppm's and "Big Data" bloom nutrients are at 5ml per gal now.

"Cousin It" Alive 68 Days, 52 Days of Veg, 7 Days from Flip.

Both "Morticia" and "Cousin IT" ppm has been increasing over the past couple of days.
Letting me know that a root rinse is do soon.
They are pushing 1200 ppm's after drinking up a half gallon of nutrients.
Nutrients going in are around 800 ppm's.

It's probably a good thing that there's another 3 foot of space at this end. They might get a little bit bigger.

Girls are looking great!!
Thanks, let's hope they continue to be until chop day!
Thank you for taking time to stop by.
Cheers!
Training has paid off well going into flower…well done. Cheers
This strain is an easy candidate for...you don't have to do anything but a simple top and LST to get rid of the Fir Tree look and even up the top.
:high-five:

This will be the last time any of the girls in flower will get a full drenching of @Sierra Natural Science SNS209. From now on get local spot treatment and resivior/root rinse in place.
Aug 6, "Morticia" and "Cousin IT" Alive 71 Days, 52 Days of Veg, 10 Days from Flip.
I'm lucky to have 38 inch doorways in here!
PXL_20210805_143214717.jpg

1 gallon of 74deg F water with 8ml SNS209 poured through the hydroton and over roots.
Then placed into another bucket of same mixture.
PXL_20210805_143623575.jpg

Bucket is cleaned and refreshed with 1.5 gallons of nutrients. 900ppm's
Than a Quart of SNS209 at 36ml per gallon is sprayed as a foliage drench.
"Morticia"

More to come!

Looking great!!! Hey question from a newbie! Do you know the temp of the solution they are in? I would love to have a few veg in one tent of just individual buckets and then move to flower in an under current system but I only have one chiller. I kept reading about temp of solution and potential issues so I bought the chiller but if I can get away without it in veg that would be amazing. Happy Saturday!

My understanding is that water holds oxygen better at temperatures below 72F or 22.22C.
Also plants will respond better in cooler water around 63F to 67F. Danger zones for res Temps are below 55F or over 75F.
As you know Air Pumps heat up...so it's a fight against a gradually increasing temperature.
I have air vents on the floor blowing 66F air into the rooms. The 12'x12' foundation below the flower room is sealed and insulated except for the ceiling joint. Also this is what the air-conditioning is located. Insulated bucket sits on cool floor. All my air pumps sit on vents slowing down the temp creep.
I set my bucket temps at 65F in 8 to 10 hours they will rise to around 70F.
Top off Nutes are kept in the refrigerator (45F). 2 quart's will bring it back to 64ish deg F.
Misters instead of DWC also cools better.
All these variables allow me to run individual buckets.
Young plants that are not drinking much. I keep the res at a lower level and if necessary replace warm nutes with cooler.
I am building a air storage system in the foundation. Hope it will be enough to supply continuous cool air....more to come on this.

@Modest Grower if you are growing DWC, I find control of water temps a biggy.

Not to over take @Furcifer journal, take a look at what I am playing with in my journal for water temperature control.

Tok..

Nice work @Furcifer

How are you planning on controlling those wild ladies?

What size is your grow area again?

Edit: Sorry posted this before I seen you update.
Stuff, Trim, chop and maybe some training to corral them in!
The Flower room is roughly 4 foot 10 inches wide for 6 foot 8 inches long than narrows to 4 foot 5 inches wide for additional 5 foot. With an 8 foot ceiling.

As you know I've been using SNS 209 as a root and hydroton drench and a foliage spray.
Good news is there has been NO bug issues.
BAD news is I started adding 2ml of SNS 209 per gallon of nutrients since the last treatment.
Last Tuesday through Thursday all resiviors were started on this regimen.
Long story Short.....Z7 is NOT compatible with SNS 209 within the resivior.
Z7 doesn't list it's Active Ingredient...only it's a Trade Secret.
I left Friday morning without checking anything.
My Nephew did a good job with instructions, but is a novice at growing plants.
Last night on my return found various stages of Root Rot within the roots floating in the nutrient solution.
Obviously SNS killed Z7......
Every bucket was cleaned. Roots washed with Hydrogen Peroxide (1 cup per gallon of water).
The 2 worst were done again this morning.
Everyone is smelling a whole lot better.
Time will tell.
And, have ordered a couple of products with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. With a high Colony-forming units (cfu) per milliliter.

Recovery in progress....

Sorry to hear you had root rot, but is exactly why I am playing with aquarium cooling probes.

I had rot in my current grow before I install the probe. Rot is gone.

I still add Hydro-Guard for water temperature shift, but since install a cooling probe with a temperature control my temps are only shifting between 65 to 69, and I am good with that.

Aside from the RR, your ladies still look great.

Tok..

Sorry to hear about the root rot but your girls look pretty good regardless. Hopefully, the change in reservoir will keep them looking good.

They will take a little hit due to additive incompatibility.
So for bad "Pathogens" control I'll try "Revitalize" Biofungicide produced by "Bonide".
Not a fan of products made by "Monsanto" or "Bayer" ie......"Hydro-guard".

Thank you for commenting...as I said above.
This was from an incompatibility of Bug deterrent..SNS209 and bad Pathogens control Z7.
If I wasn't in a hurry last Friday... I think I would have detected an issue...if I just looked and smelled the resiviors as I usually do.
They will be fine.
