Monthly winners are automatically eligible for our prestigious "Plant of the Year" contest, held in January.

Contest Guidelines:

1. The contest is open to members with 50 or more posts. Members must also have at least 50 posts to be entitled to vote.

2. Contest entries must be original photos of your own plant(s), rather recent and never entered into one of our contests before.

3. Entries must include ONLY photos of the plant(s). At least one photo must show MOST of the plant and you may add one inanimate object as a reference point for size, or a closeup/macro. No nudity or alcohol.

4. Maximum of two photos per member. Updating photos throughout the month is not allowed.

5. Remember to upload your photo through our Photo Gallery before posting them on this thread: Photo Gallery Guide - How to Resize, Upload & Post Photos

6. Self-nominations only. Past winners are ineligible for 3 months from date of win.

7. Promotion (i.e. campaigning) for yourself or a friend, or any attempt at voting more than one time per person (i.e. multiple user names, etc.) is considered cheating and is prohibited. Promotion also includes family and friends who register a new account for voting purposes. Campaigning in any form - including but not limited to mentioning the entry in any thread outside the contest, a signature link to the entry and campaigning via PMs - will result in the entry being removed from the month's contest. A second instance, either in a different contest during the same month or in any future contest, will attract a lifetime ban from all future contests.

8. Editing Photos: You may resize and/or crop your photos, however adding text, images and effects are prohibited. This makes it a fair contest for all, as not everyone can afford photo editing programs and/or know how to use them.

9. Staff members from this or any other cannabis forum/community and/or 420 Magazine sponsors are not permitted to enter our contests.

By posting a submission into this contest, it is assumed that you have read and agree to abide by each of the aforementioned rules. Consider your submission your "virtual signature".

Contests Are Legitimate: Now that votes are publicly visible, it should be obvious who is voting. We have endless ways of discovering cheating and are always successful. If you are caught cheating, your entry will be deleted and you'll be called out in the public thread, visible to everyone. Reason being that in the past, when we removed the offending entry without any announcement (to help minimize embarrassment for the member), it often led to uninformed (or worse, misinformed) members questioning our motives and calling us censorship nazi's. More often than not, the cheater themselves would claim innocence, causing a higher workload for our staff. For these reasons, we now alert the community of what happened, to save all the confusion and massive workload on our team.

My final shot using the Weedseedsexpress Girl Scout Cookies genetics.

This was my favourite of the bunch. The smell is floral and sweet and the flavours are out of this world. It changes but ranges from sugary desserts to something more piney and musky. Potency is high and I think that after using it for a while I would say that it is quite well balanced but leans slightly towards the sleepier side of things. Recently my days have been euphoric and happy but I rarely make it past 9pm before my eyes start welding themselves shut lol. Great weed....

Good luck everyone.

Ok now that Thanksgiving has passed, it's now time to start putting up the Christmas decorations. I started with my favorite Christmas tree in my own grow tent. She is a Critical Autoflower. Plan to give her the chop this weekend and with 3 weeks dry/cure it should be ready for Christmas Gifts. The girl stands ~48" tall and her buds are hard and glisten. Looking forward to seeing all the Christmas bud porn this year. Should be a good one.

Merry Christmas to all, and may y'all have a very GREEN new year!!!

Yes, they're tricky and persnickerdy but it is possible

What else are you going to do with toppings and trimmings? Worth a shot.
Damn... it worked well... now you got me thinking....

So far, I've had success with Critical Mass Auto and Purple Punch Auto.

The yield on the CMA clone was greater than her mom.
The yield on the PPA clone was about half her mom.

Auto seeds are so expensive, I feel compelled to try and stretch their value

I’m going to give that a try!

I'd be very interested in if you can clone a clone and what the yield would be. My understanding of the cloning process as applied to autoflowers is that at the time the clone is taken and transplanted it still will act as an autoflower of that age, not reset to a seedling. With photoperiod plants there is an external switch to start and stop flowering but this isn't available with autoflowers. There is simply a genetically preprogramed internal time clock on the inexorable march toward flowering (with some modification internally for stress and such). This would indicate to me that successive generations of clones would show lower and lower yields. Photoperiod plants wouldn't show this tendency.

Here is a question: If stress can turn a feminized plant into a hermie could extreme stress (read this as a cloning event) revert an autoflower to a photoperiod plant. Remember you may only be a generation or two from the ruderalis cross and the photoperiod genetics may be lurking just below the surface. I'm not a plant geneticist or have any real expertise here so if anyone has a well-informed answer, I'd love to hear it (not a seat of my pants SWAG like I just pitch out there).
