I think that supercropping is exactly the training needed for those tall branches, though I would have bent them much closer to the level of the net and laid them on it for support. Ideally the bend should sit at pretty close to 90º.

I’m sure you can tell I’m struggling a bit ;( so im hoping the top I bent will recover by the time I get home this evening oh the anxiety building up is real lol that way I can try bending them at the level you suggested and they can they lay right on top of the net.

The better the squeeze the less likely the stem is to break, since the idea is to break the internal structure of the stem without breaking the skin. Minor skin tears can be left to heal but cracks will need to be taped up. You might want to consider some support for that big bend by tying a string from the top of the tent to the bent branch. Once the flowers start packing on weight it's going to need help anyway!

For really woody branches that are hard to crush, some folks gently squeeze the branch with a needle nose pliers wrapped in electrical tape to provide a bit of cushioning. I also will gently rock the branch back and forth across the tip of my thumb until it's loose enough to fold without cracking.

the most important thing I notice when looking at these plants is that they look healthy. The leaves are dark green and I can't see any deficiencies. My leaves are a mess, one is a shade lighter than the other with some brown calcium spots and the other has some rust spots. My next grow I am changing a lot of things to try and prevent the issues I had

Thank you so much! I’m pretty sure it has to be my water, my water is pretty good out here in NM it’s Ph is 7 and ppm 120. All I add to the water is FF nutes every other water, which is the big grow and big bloom. I’ll be adding the other, tiger bloom her soon. It’s says to start first sign of flower. I feel like I can push the nutes a lil further but of course I’m too scared lol

so I was having a hard time the last few weeks bc I mixed up all the info I gathered and against better judgment and advice, I started applying everything I learned lol and ended up w a mess bc I was too scared or wasn’t sure which branches to cut so I just let it grow but I finally went ahead did some lollipopin to all my girls and I think they look ok.. what do you think ......should I cut some more off the main colas ?? The first 2 are before their manicure

Dont beat yourself up they're looking fine. Always remember they're plants, I know we put them up on a pedestal because we love them but they're very hardy and they can take it. My first grow I stressed about everything and this time I'm a lot more relaxed and I've been experimenting a lot more. Just enjoy the process and use what you've learned on the next one.

Hey InTheShed, I was wondering if I should add a scrog net or if I should just use some bamboo sticks at this point? I did have one on but it was so loose and flimsy, I decided to remove it. I did find a a really nice net that fits my tent exactly but this is the second week of flower (14days) is is too late to add the net? Any advice you can spare is greatly appreciated!!

Awesome thanks so much!!! and I actually do know what a yo yo is. so I’m feeling pretty good about trying it out. I’m so happy I don’t have to bother with that tbh annoying net! I’m sure if I add it at the right time, next time it won’t be so annoying lol ... Thanks again ITS!!!

16th day I to flower 12/12 light schedule. I’ve been giving FF nutes big bloom and Tiger bloom every other water as directed.

Wow really I cannot believe I let this happen, like really!!! We are still adjusting to a new water schedule and I was so busy this past week, that I didn’t have a timer set. We went from every 7 days then 6,5 and I think we are now at every 4 days water. I should have watered about 3 days ago WOW..so now we are back on a water schedule and I can set a reminder again. I was looking into an automatic watering system to help me out so this does not happen again! SMH it was really awesome watching her perk right up once watered

With that light only being 100 watts you should be on 100% the whole time. I put 100 watts on seedlings. Keep up the awesome learning experience. Thanks for journaling =)
