Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

I added "BBX". She is "Big Bud x Blue Magoo". She has been topped at least once and maybe several. She is 24" tall in what looks like a 2 gallon bag. I need to fog her as a precaution, as well as the rest of veg. Once she is comfortable I will pot her larger a bit and take clones. Once I get her good and bushy I'll put her in. Fogging tomorrow I hope. Meanwhile physical separation should do. I believe she is clean, but I like to be cautious. She doesn't need to be fed tonight.

I am also skipping a day in bloom. Everyone needs a break, since their 'true rate' and my imposed rate of feeding and watering have caused moisture levels to rise a bit high in the medium. That's why I backed off of the feed volume in bloom. They will be fine. They just need a day or two I think. I'll be in here a lot for the rest of the week I guess.

Small veg, on the other hand, just hit "needs water every day" mode. That translates to "Transplant me." when I see it in my veg. They need to come out of those 3.5 inch pots. The Lavenders are the next "chosen ones" for bloom, so they will get preferential treatment. Everyone else in that group is just clone fodder at the moment. I'm so ruthless.

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

I transplanted the two big G13xGBs in veg to slightly larger pots and four of small veg (two L and two BD) to 2 gallon pots.

The G13s go in next (mid Oct) and probably the Lavs after that (end Oct). Somewhere up ahead I have to integrate BBX, after cloning of course.

G13xGB.2F, G13xGB.2G

Here's an image for you: You roll a nice fat doobie of some fine weed. You smoke, and toke, and choke, and smoke some more. While you are doing in the roach, you realize it's a particularly fine roach at that, and you finish with relish ...

... Only to realize that the roach was one from yesterday, and you still have half of a joint left of some fine weed. Can't let that go to waste, now can we?

:cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm going to try to get the items that are in the cloner into soil or the can this weekend.

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Bonus! Pictures!

The first five are from the 22nd, when I brought BBX home.

Here she is:

20100923Aber-01.jpg

She looks a bit more beat up than mine usually do:

20100923Aber-02.jpg

So you can see what is where in the cloner:

20100923Aber-03.jpg

And here are the contents, from the same side:

20100923Aber-04.jpg

And here are the roots if I just lift the inner tray:

20100923Aber-05.jpg

From tonight, here is the larger end of veg. The big pots on the left are the G13xGBs, the white bag obscured behind them is BBX, and the newly transplanted Lavenders and Blue Dreams are at left:

20100925Aber-01.jpg

Here are the smaller four closer up:

20100925Aber-02.jpg

And here is what is left in small veg - Matanuskan Th. and G13xGB:

Thanks, man. I try to do the right things. I am excited about the cooler weather as well. It has been a difficult year for heat issues.

The camera is a Nikon D90 with an AF Nikkor 35-80mm lens. All my best pics have been taken in Auto mode, so it's the camera that's good, not me.

Thanks for dropping in - I don't get many posters here.

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

By the way, has anyone had any personal experience with ordering from Attitude Seed Bank to the US and paying with a credit card?

I know it sounds risky, but if others are having discreet success without trouble, it would seem that they probably aren't a front for the DEA. In that case I feel I can trust their need for a business reputation and modern European privacy standards. The only really safe option is sending cash, and I won't. I would be sending it to a clean house.

Any experience?

I ordered from the attitude seed bank just a few months ago. Here is what i did.. I was using my visa debit/credit card so i had to go to my bank and go to a bank teller and let them kno that i was going to be purchasing items from the UK on my card, the first time i tried my card got declined you have to let them know if you are using your card over seas i guess.. Then I called the Attitude seed bank phone number it was busy for about 2 hours when i finally got threw a very nice lady answered and took my order of about 20seeds and my credit info, i chose discreet shipping witch was 20bucks i think. and it game in a folded shirt that was in a bubble envelope.. I order on Wednesday and it arrived on monday i was very very impressed.. seeds were great!
hope that helps

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Thanks for the input blacklips. That does help. I'm looking at several packs:

Reserva Privada, OG Kush The #18 Feminized, 2 Seeds
World of Seeds Landraces, Pakistan Valley Feminized, 7 Seeds
Delta 9 Labs, Mekong Haze Reg Seeds, 5 Seeds
Green House, Super Lemon Haze Feminized, 5 Seeds
Green House, Indica Mix E Feminized, 5 Seeds
Green House, Sativa Mix Feminized, 5 Seeds

That would come to $269.14, plus shipping. With that set, I would get these for free, none of which I have researched:

Dinafem Seeds, California Hash Plant
Dinafem Seeds, Royal Haze
DNA Genetics, Lemon Skunk Feminized
DNA Genetics, Sour Cream Feminized
DNA Genetics, Sharksbreath Feminized

Opinions? Anything I should skip or get instead, and why?

Including opinions on my previous post, please, if you have them. :)

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Someone very close who also has a mmj card is seriously short plants. So I am going to donate BD.3C and BD.3D from medium veg and G13xGB.3A, G13xGB.3B, MT.2A, and MT.2B from small veg. I just need MT clones first. I have clones of the rest already. That leaves me 2 G13xGBs to put in on the 15th or so, and 2 Lavenders to put in on the 30th. The 2 Blue Dreams I was going to really work over in large veg (BD.3C and BD.3D) were supposed to be for the area of 11/20, but I think with the way BD grows I can have two of the rooted clones ready to go into bloom by then. Since the need is great, I can easily manage to donate that. They will probably drop by in the next 2-3 days to pick them up.

I need to get an estimate on the flowering time of BBX. I know the person I got it from knows this. I just forgot to ask.

The Matanuskan Th. twins are laden with buds and still have about 30 days to go. They are at full strength nutes and are quite green. I'll do pictures for all of this over the weekend again, hopefully Saturday this time.

Even more impressive are the 2 Blue Dreams only 17 days into a 70 day stint. They are also already at full strength nutes (for their stage, almost the same). This is much more than the MTs could even handle until just now. BD is a voracious eater. One of the BDs is huge and has an immense number of bud sites right now. I can't wait to show you in pics.

The two larger veg groups can now combine. In fact, they could have been combined tonight, but I didn't notice until they were all already fed. What a stoner. :tokin: Which means I now have only two veg recipes to mix, and only one when the donations are gone. Of course, the clones are all rooted and need to go into 3.5" pots, so there will be two again. Ah, fleeting simplicity.

Busy day. It's pretty late so I'll do pics tomorrow.

I got the last wall framed in for the new large bloom room today. I need to empty a bunch of stuff out of the garage to move forward now.

Tomorrow I hope to clone everything.
