Aberration Goes Ker Bloom! - Perpetual

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

How often during flowering do you give your girls the myco powder?

Your girls look great BTW!!!

At this point I plan to do it weekly. In fact, tonight's session will be water and beneficials only. Which is good because it will go faster.

And thanks. They are doing well. Except the large Blue Dream girls in veg, who are a bit stretched for my taste. Gotta fix that. I hope to do that and more tomorrow.

I was going to do it today, but my local college team is kicking @ss this season and I've been a bit distracted by that. ;) But first, I need to go get the two Blue Dream girls I harvested 8 days ago, which is now dry and ready to cut up.

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

OK, so is this bud rot or just mold?

20101205Aber-01.jpg

20101205Aber-02.jpg

20101205Aber-03.jpg

I found this in a dense nugg of the Blue Dream. I checked very carefully through all the other large or dense buds and only found 1 other spot of it. Thank gosh the buds are still flexible enough to slightly deform so I can look down in between without really damaging them.

I have not had this before. I think it's a sign that I need to get the new bloom done so I can have a new 'sterile' bloom again. At least it was minimal. More later, but first I need to transplant and clone, and the day's a-wastin'. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

G13xGB.2G and BBX are in flush now. They go by so fast. I need to get some Lavender and maybe some Blue Dream in there. So much for short duration plants, but I have a nice succession of BD in the pipeline and that's what I'm going to use. Even the youngest girls in there only have about three weeks left. I need to get on it.

So I guess I will bloom a pair of Lavenders, and then two successive pairs of Blue Dream after that. Then I get into unplanned territory. It's OK - I have several choices coming along just fine in veg.

Pictures!

Here's the new Lavender (L6). She looks a bit forlorn because I just got done blasting her with hurricane winds (actually, I fogged her for bugs). Gotta get every bit wet. She'll perk up. Then she can probably go into bloom:

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

I just want to say this is prob the best journal i have seen in my week or so as a member of this site. Your attention to detail is second to none and your desire to learn is amazing. I must say you are very humble, many people who have a room like you do and grow amazing ladies like you do would boast about it you dont and you are very thankful for any help you receive. I must say i hope you keep your journal up, i for one have learned heaps of information from reading your journal. I am interested in growing... however i would have to do it on a much smaller scale since its some what frowned upon where i live lol

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Thank you budster9. I think it's great you learned something. If you have an opinion or an idea feel free. Every day I hear about what other growers do is a day I learn more about growing my own. :) It's only tolerated here because I have a mmj card. I feel lucky. But it can certainly be grown in less space. Keep me posted.

Tonight's feed report will hopefully be posted in about 90 minutes. Gotta get hopping.
