Thanks for stopping by as well.

Don't know what you looked at on my journal, but I'm NOT a DIY guy at all. I'm so all about, purchase, plug and play!!!

:cheesygrinsmiley:

Also, been following this BloomBox grow, don't know if you've seen it, you guys look pretty similar on timing.

Today is the end of week 3 so I'll be changing the res later today with new pics but man these ladies are still stretching even at the end of week 3. I'm going to have to get some twine or something and tie them down.

Alientic, got a question, for these strains that might be pushing or exceeding the height requirements of the bbox, is there a difference between growing from seed and taking clones? Would the clones tend to be shorter? You might know this already but make sure you use a thick twine when tying down, the thinner stuff cuts right into the plants. I lost two tops and one of my biggest was almost a goner, glad I spotted it early enough.

I have read that cuttings from a good old mother will move faster into bud production when you turn them to flower than a young plant grown from seed. Something about the cells knowing how old the plant is and being driven to flower.

Looking forward to test this theory myself. One thing is sure, it is best to stay with short plants. My Straberry Haze seems to be a good candidate.

Week 4 Flowering

Flowering 24 Days

I took these pics on 4/19/10. So unfortunately the plants are still stretching. The main colas are butting up against the glass. It might be too late for twine, I think that was something that should've been done when the plants were shorter. Any thoughts?

Flowering 26 Days

I took these pics 4/21/10. They are still stretching and in some of the pics they are bending themselves over! Anyways I'm starting to see some trichomes on the fan leaves. Getting really excited :cheer:
